Let me tell you! Everyone here is the best of the best at Monaco hair extensions lounge. I started coming here two years ago, and they have changed my life and brought me my hair goal dreams. I send everyone I know to Seth. He is a hair genius and he’s seriously amazing. I’m going to put a before and after pictures so you know what I mean. Pictures 1, is when I started coming to Monaco. Picture 2, is a year and a half later without extensions. Pic 3, is with extensions 😊

Last December 2020 I visited Monaco Hair salon on west bay to bay Blvd to talk about having extensions applied for my wedding, well that turned into now a year ongoing addiction! They are all so overly qualified and talented at what they do and I absolutely love the passion each stylist has in playing there role ! Never anything but Above & beyond satisfaction guaranteed! I wear 3 rows of hand- tied extensions previously installed by The owner Krista who is a sweetheart and saved my hair, money, and integrity by being kind enough to help me after getting talked into using another stylist who caused a horrible reaction to my scalp and was so painful. Krista allowed Jordan who was in training at the time to re- install them the correct way, which helped me pay to have the mistake fixed properly. I went in crying but when I left I felt like a million dollars. I still have people ask who I go to or where I went. I’ve gotten to many compliments from the work they do! Warning ⚠️ THIS CAN BECOME AN OBSESSION! I can’t wait to get back in to see you all. The last photos show a removal with Color by Rebecca . I personally recommend Seth for color, but they all have their specialties that’s why you go for a consultation. You get what you pay for.🤷🏼‍♀️

AMAZING!! If you want a forever hair salon THIS IS THE PLACE! The staff is so attentive, and genuinely friendly. Every thing is explained in detail (and I asked alot of questions) they make sure you are getting exactly what you want and offer helpful suggestions. The salon is not close to me but the hours and the above and beyond service makes it worth the drive. I won't be going anywhere else as long as I live in the Tampa area. MANY THANKS TO EVERYONE!

Jordan is the hair extension WHISPERER! I came to her with some major tracks-showing issues (not done by her or anyone at Monaco). She was able to match extensions to my balayaged hair perfectly, and her hand-tying skills are just as impressive! I can now wear my hair in any style and no one would even know I have extensions - except who has hair this great naturally? 10/10 recommend her if you are an extension newbie or need an extension overhaul like I did. I had been going to the same salon for over 10 years. For the past year I had been asking for a "change' and for some kind of treatment for my over processed and dry hair. After asking for so long I just got a bit frustrated so I wanted to try a new place. I read the reviews and my daughter has friends that use this salon. She said they all loved it. I made my appointment and was set up with Malia. Oh my goodness! Malia listened to me and tried a treatment. I was so pleased with how it came out. I went back a second time and she suggested trying another treatment for damage and this stuff made my hair SO amazing! I love the fact that Malia listened to my concerns and truly made a difference. She is so sweet and personable as well. The whole reception team is super courteous and sweet. The manager came up to me the at the conclusion of my first appointment and wanted to know if I was happy with the service, etc. I thought that was so great. They also offer you water and snacks. I have made my next 2 appointments since then. I will not be going anywhere else. Great customer service experience and I am absolutely thrilled with how much healthier my hair is. Thank you Malia!!

Ive been to several upscale salons in Tampa who have destroyed my hair. I did research and chose to try Monaco. I called Monday, and they were able to get me in on Monday. The front desk went above and beyond to check with both salons and stylists to find the best fit for me. When I entered the Extension Lounge, it was so clean and bright. Big windows surround the place, so theres so much natural light coming in. The front desk lady greeted me and was so happy and professional. She brought me a glass of wine. Lauren was my stylist. She did a wonderful job, was fun to talk to, had so much knowledge, and was so motivated and energetic. Overall, it was a great experience, and I’ll definitely be back. I finally found the salon for me. It wasnt too crowded, everyone was so nice and professional, and it felt like home.

After losing a lot of my hair due to stress I felt extremely ashamed and ugly. When I did my consultation with Monaco over zoom, I was extremely nervous that they would judge me or tell me I wouldn't be able to do much...however it was the complete opposite. The staff was incredibly supportive and made me feel more comfortable than any salon I've ever been to before. Krista does my hand tied extensions and let me just tell you, she killed it. With the help of her amazing staff, they matched my hair color perfectly and got to work. Let me just say, they seriously put all their attention on you and making your hair look exactly how you want it. HANDS DOWN, Dillon is the guy to see in Tampa if you want to get the best cut in town. After I got BOTH of my haircuts, I have had people stop what they are doing mid-sentence because they got distracted to say how great your hair looks, I would HIGHLY recommend you see Dillon! I lived in Tampa for 3 years, researching heavily for the top talent in Tampa. I saw many other hair stylists who never met my standards for what I was looking for. I went to Monaco Hair Extensions Salon for my first set of hair extensions. Going in, I was nervous because I have been growing out my pixie cut for a year and it was still pretty short, with a lot of different layers and lengths. However, Kristi quickly set my mind at ease. She and Kaysie spent a good amount of time planning the best approach to make sure the extensions blended seamlessly, keeping me updated every step of the way. Kristi, who did the install, put so much time, care, and effort into making sure the extensions looked incredibly natural and that I was happy with them. She was a wealth of knowledge when it came to explaining how to best care for the extensions and how to style them. I could not be more thrilled with how the extensions turned out!!! I would not trust any place but Monaco salon to do my extensions.

Melissa is my hair stylist and she is super nice and super friendly. Overall, everyone there is so professional and nice. Right when I walk in I feel a sense of welcoming and you are automatically greeted and offered water or coffee. If your stylist is running a little behind they make sure you are aware and still acknowledged. I started my hair journey here October 2020 and I can say there is a huge difference now. My hair was probably the most damaged (rock bottom) and to date my hair has improved tremendously with the help of treatments, healthy cuts, and healthy methods with products. Worth every penny. I won’t go anywhere else now. You do pay for what you get so don’t expect value prices. Value prices equals value work. Here they offer premium service!

I've been going to monaco for a few years. I have noticed that what I pay for services here is significantly higher than same services at comparable (if not better) salons in the area. You'd think that translates to better quality services. However, that is not the case. I've experienced salons all over the world, from below average to very high end and in my book Monaco falls squarely in the "average" catagory while being overpriced. For that reason, even though once I was a loyal Monaco client, over time as competition has increased and there are so many more and better options in the area, I find myself transitioning to other salons for better value for my money.

MELISSA. That’s all I have to say. She colors my hair and keeps my blonde looking amazing. While my hair has never looked so good, the experience at the salon is worth it in itself. Melissa truly cares about her guests. She remembers things you have told her from past appointments (which is crazy because I can’t remember something someone told me 30 minutes ago). I get my hand tied extensions done at Monaco, and I absolutely adore this place! The location is great and convenient, and the service is unparalleled. I go to Krista for the actual extensions, and Jordan is heavily involved in helping each time and they are both fantastic. Funny, easy to talk to, and make the long experience fun. The prices are reasonable for this type of service. You have to remember hand tied extensions are a pricey product in general and you absolutely get what you pay for here. I feel like a queen when I leave, and my extensions are gorgeous and look absolutely natural. No one would know if I didn't tell them, which I always end up doing because I love talking about Monaco! Highly recommend!

I had an appointment with Marissa who cut my hair and dyed it, she did an excellent job! She was knowledgeable and took the time to understand what I wanted. The place is very stylish and clean. They took your temperature when you walked in and had glass in between all the chairs in the salon. I saw them sanitize everything after each use as well. I’ve been trying to find a nice salon for awhile and I’m glad to have finally found one!

After doing some research I decided to go with Monaco Salon and was extremely happy with my decision. When you first enter the building you are greeted with a smile, and also asked if I would like a beverage while I wait. The staff was super friendly and nice. Damaris was my stylist who cut my hair and she did an AMAZING job!!! I was a little nervous at first as it was my first visit at a new salon...which is very nerve wracking. However, Damaris made me feel completely at ease. I told her what I wanted and she offered her expert opinion and she did an awesome job with my hair. After searching for months for a salon that specializes in extensions I finally found Monaco Salon 🤩 I met with Krista for a consultation for the hand tied extension method and actually received the service the same night. I now come every couple weeks for a wash a style with Waleska which is a great stylist as well. Last week I decided I wanted to be blonder so I sat with Klodjana who did a full baby lite with money piece and Krista added blonde hair into the previous extensions and I am SO HAPPY WITH THE RESULTS 👏🏼👏🏼 All the stylist are very friendly, professional and the salon is kept very clean. I would like to say that the owner (I think her name is Krista) and the manager (Bridget) are very nice and truly want their customers to be happy. I have very challenging thin hair and they have gone above and beyond to try and make me feel more confident. I think I like the tape in better than tie-ins but giving the hand tied a chance. I’m a little worried based on a review I read though. The hair quality is okay. Not as soft as I was hoping for but I think it’s more about me not knowing how to treat it b/c when I leave the salon it feels soft and looks beautiful. The owner is excellent- really awesome- at cutting hair. And she was very kind in her follow up and offer to help correct a small issue I had. She has very professional customer service skills. I would recommend this salon. I’m a high maintenance customer b/c I have such thin fine damaged hair and they have been very accommodating. Again, the owner wants to make sure the customers are happy. And Kassy, the stylist, is very detail oriented.

I recently got 22 inch beaded sew in extensions put in by Kaysie. I am blown away by the quality of the hair and how seamlessly it was installed and blended. She also custom mixed a beautiful fashion color for me and I really appreciate the time and effort she took to make it perfect. All of the staff was friendly and helping each other which I loved. The salon in general is beautiful and very clean. 10/10 would recommend to anyone for any service but ESPECIALLY extensions. They’re prefect, thank you Kaysie!

I’m usually hard to please when it comes to my hair but Meredith at Monaco managed to exceed all my expectations and more! KLODJANA IS AMAZING!! I first went to Monaco after having my hair bleached at another salon. I naturally have dark brown hair and experienced damage and didn’t like the color my hair turned out. Klodjana did a great job of not only giving me THE CUTEST BOB EVER but of explaining what was and wasn’t good for my hair. I always had long hair so my whole life I’ve always wanted to go longer, not shorter. Now that I have— I FEEL SO CONFIDENT!! As someone who’s originally from Tampa but has moved out of state for college and work. Whenever I am back in town I always make sure to stop in. I love the salon and Klodjana so much that even after living in New York & Nashville, I still only go to Monaco. While I am sure she has many many clients, Klodjana does a great job at making conversation, hyping you up, and making you feel like you are her “only client.” And although you can call the salon and ask for her by name, if you message her on social media (IG - @hair_divaaa) she responds VERY quickly (I’ve always gotten same day responses). Overall, the salon is great, it looks elegant, and although Klodjana is the hairstylist I always see, I have had great interactions with ALL the other stylists!

Krista is probably one of the most amazing stylist of our time!! That is saying a lot since I’ve had my hair done with the best in NYC & Worldwide. As a 80’s Super-Model I’m very picky about my hair… as well as my looks & even more so as the years pass. Now as a Structual Engineer & still doing ads for top cosmetic companies It’s important to stay on top of my game in a world where “Age & Beauty” reigns… Krista & the unbelievably talented stylist that Krista hires to work in her salons truly have you walking out of the Salon & you feel you like you just shot your first Vogue Magazine Cover-it’s that Incredible… Listen don’t take my word for it, Go experience it for yourself and I’d better be ready for competition because you’ll emerge from the Salon feeling like a Supermodel…. Sometimes I’ve just had a simple wash & blowout with pretty much all of the stylist at the Bay to Bay location. Forget that number 23 in the USA the ratings say I’m telling you they could be number One in my book. Get your hair colored by Laura or another amazing stylist but her skill in color is incredible but I think every single stylist at a station or being trained to soon be at their own station is under the watchful & skillful incredible Eye of KRISTA… This woman is Incredible & I would Know …but don’t just take my word go book an appointment & I can promise you will emerge feeling quite beautiful & the Men you’ll feel quite Handsome.. If your hair just needs something to make you feel great about yourself again, their extension department which is Krista the Owner’s secret weapon btw, I’ve watched people come in but when they walked out… OMG I just am in awe that after NYC & now relocating my new company to Florida that this Diamond of Salon’s worldwide is here in Tampa Florida WOW & WOW .. You will never look the same but incredible will be your new image….Trust This, I don’t like to do reviews but as a CEO, I feel as a Commercial Builder worldwide & a model (now that is a tongue twister). lol But I leave Monaco Salon & just feel incredible….They are just that good, plus you will love everyone at the Salon especially the women who run the front reception.. Just can’t say enough about this Salon and all the stylist there with Krista as the reigning Queen… Trust This…. You’ll never go back to another Salon after one time having your hair done at Monaco… They are truly that good!! Respectfully Tina💋
