I’ve been coming to Salon Norrell for years and it has NEVER been anything less than amazing. Their staff is skilled, knowledgeable, personable and you can tell they genuinely like each other and their work environment. Prices are very fair and none of the artists are pushy about purchasing products. It really is my happy place where I can just relax and know I’m in good hands :) I’ve gotten all over color, balayage, highlights, and dozens of haircuts and everything is always on point. You won’t be disappointed.

I cannot recommend Courtney enough! This is the first time I saw her but I looked at her work online and thought she would be a good fit for me and I was right! I showed her a picture and mentioned some modifications and she was not only receptive but also very patient. She did exactly what I asked for and I am very appreciative after having some bad haircuts recently. Thanks Courtney, I’ll see you again soon!!

This was my first time at AVEDA salon and I had a haircut with Shelby. It was a fabulous experience. Such a pretty salon, the front desk staff were extremely sweet, and I happily accepted the offer of a mimosa and energizing eye cream. My shampoo, haircut, and blowdry were wonderful - I feel amazing! My hairstylist was lovely to chat with and she did a great job and gave me much needed advice on shampoo. I don’t think I’ve ever gone to a fancy salon before, but it was a nice experience for my haircut to be more of a pampered outing than what I usually get. I’ll definitely be back!

I went today (7/10) to get a haircut with Jessy. I left a completely different person. It wasn't just a haircut, color and highlights...it was an experience. From the moment I walked in, I was welcomed promptly and with great professionalism. Jessy was right on time and took her time going over my intended visit and we talked through my goal of getting it colored eventually. She asked for my opinions and worked with me to create a whole new look. She was kind, personable, full of knowledge, and she made me feel so comfortable with everything being done. She didn't push any product or service but I took her recommendations because I could tell it was coming from a good place. She didn't rush the process at all, she gave me some great tips to take care of my hair and helped me identify a hair care schedule. Based on Jessy's impeccable service as well as the cleanliness and exceptional assortment of complimentary service, I'm only going back to this business for my hair needs. You certainly get what you paid for here. Thank you Jessy for your kindness in my session today!

Went here for a pramasana and deep conditioning. The experience was relaxing and my hair looks great. Katie took care of me and she was very kind and did a fine job. I don't know much about hair care but she explained everything, even pointed me in the direction of some products useful to my hair type. The establishment itself is impressive. Many other services are offered here which i plan to utilize in the future. Other staff I encountered were very pleasant as well.

Been here twice for a haircut with Taylor. Building is very nice as well as the staff. Taylor is extremely friendly and asks questions during your session to make sure you're getting exactly what you're wanting. I highly recommend her, especially to those with a million cowlicks like myself who prefer dry haircuts.

She offered great advice tailored to my low-maintenance hair routine and wasn’t pushy at all recommending products. I happily purchased a leave in conditioner that she used when styling my hair because I didn’t feel bullied into buying products like I have at other salons. I love the salon. It is very sophisticated and relaxing. The shampoo room is amazing. The chairs have a heated neck pad, the lights are low and there is soft, relaxing music. All of the products smell earthy with is my taste, but I know it’s not preferable for other people. I finally found the salon of my dreams after moving from LA three years ago. I haven’t had such a great cut and experience in a very long time. I’d give them a 6th star if I could because.. they give you wine while your there. 😋

Great follow up to customer service complaint. I visited the store to purchase a product but they were closed earlier than scheduled. I was upset and left a snarky review before even leaving the parking lot. By the time I got home I had a message from the Salon apologizing for the inconvenience. Salon Norrell is a large beautiful space that is unlike most salons as it is not stuffy or pretentious, and instead is easygoing and light. I have been going to Kristi for years and she is meticulous, always gives me a consultation when I want to make color changes and really cares about the work she does. The staff are kind and easy to talk to which I appreciate as I have a lot of social anxiety. The shampoo room is a special treat as it’s a no talking area with dimmer lighting and soft music. I feel refreshed when I step out. I highly recommend Salon Norrell for a lovely experience and Kristi in particular for her artistry and attention to detail.

I visited Salon Norrell last week for the first time and cannot say enough good things! The staff was very friendly and professional, from the receptionist to the stylists, and everyone in between. The salon itself was very clean and had a great overall vibe! Not to mention I absolutely love my hair- Shelby nailed the color perfectly. What a great experience! From the time I walked through the door into this beautiful salon until my appointment was finished, I had a great experience. Jessica was my stylist and she did an awesome job with my hair color! I needed a color correction and she hit the nail on the head. She spoke with me at the beginning of the appointment about my hair needs and explained the process extensively. This was my first appointment with Jessica and at this salon and I will definitely return. I HIGHLY recommend Jessica and Aveda Salon Norrell!

Ok I have to admit. I was a bit worried. Kristina seemed at first, a bit....aloof. This was also based on the fact that my thoughts and concerns were NOT properly communicated from my consultation to the the stylist. Nor was I informed of VERY important info regarding the whole perm experience. I expected more from an AVEDA Salon. I have been loyal to AVEDA for over 30 years. In the end, I left pretty happy with my color and cut. I should have had a bit more off my bangs, but that is on me. I think I need a bit more copper in my hair color as well. Not quite 5 stars....maybe the next visit. Oh, and that airpot they keep the coffee in...it doesn't keep hot hot, so, if you have an afternoon appointment, ask for fresh. I will next time. They also forgot to apply my $20.00 consultation fee to my total charges. I should not have had to bring it up, but I hope to remember next time. There was also a coupon in my bag of products for $20.00 off my first visit. So, I should have received $40.00 off my first visit. So did not happen. Ouch!!!

This salon is top of the line! The building is gorgeous and they truly make you feel like you are getting a spa day. The smallest details like laying a warm towel over the neck of the rinse bowl made a huge difference. I’ve used both Courtney and Shannon and highly recommend them both!

I had an incredible visit to Salon Norrell from the moment I walked in and was greeted by the friendly receptionist Kyla. She asked me to select two complimentary services in addition to the color and haircut I had booked. I chose the scalp and hand massage. The salon atmosphere is fun but they are serious about pampering clients. New artist in training Olivia was incredible. She talked with me about what I was looking for in color and cut and explained how she was going to achieve the look. Her mentor Christine checked in with us and assured me that I was in great hands. I was offered beverages and had a refreshing mimosa while I settled in for some much needed hair maintenance. Every square foot of the salon is stylish and designed to inspire guests to be their very best version of themselves. I relaxed in the gorgeous lounge while my hair processed then proceeded to have a spa experience with the hand/scalp massage while my hair was rinsed/shampooed in the lather lounge. Hair cut and styling followed with Olivia’s precise execution. I loved the service I received and can’t wait to visit Salon Norrell again.

I came in needing a color correction. I had chunky, brassy streaks from a highlight that did not fade well. Shay recommended a simple beautiful burgundy all over color that blended well with my dark hair, and would fade to a more natural color. She also did a great makeup touchup and mini facial as part of the service. My hair looks amazing.

Their new salon is amazing! It’s like staying at a spa! I love their new processing room, it is such a great idea to relax and have a cup of tea while waiting. I love how my stylist spent time with me in the processing room for a bit, it really added to the experience and atmosphere. Can’t wait to see the new location to flourish. Cannot recommend this place enough. The stylists there were super friendly and helpful when I came in not knowing what I wanted. You can tell there was a friendly atmosphere within the salon, people were talking, throwing jokes, helping each other with clients, it was great! I had Kailey as my stylist and she’s just a sweetheart who can really revive your hair. I feel so fresh again, went in feeling like a gremlin, came out feeling like a woman! 💁🏽‍♀️ Edit: went back to Kailey and had another amazing experience there. I came into the Salon today to get pampered by Kailey and I am so happy I did. The services I received were head wash, cut and blow dry ( Not to mention a very nice head massage with the hair wash💆🏼‍♀️). From the initial consultation to my end hair result I had to give her service 5 starts ! She really took her time to not only get to know a little about my hair and myself personally but to really make sure my hair came out perfect and that I was happy with my visit. I love this salon! No chemical smell and every employee is so nice and friendly. I have been coming here a few years now and I can't see myself going anywhere else. Today I had a keratin treatment done with Anthony. He took the time to tell me how to care for my hair after the treatment including how to sleep with it. He was very friendly and informative. He made me feel comfortable and the shampoo he gave me was wonderful! He had a gentle touch, not one time during my blowout did it hurt and the result was beautiful. All the products used are natural which I love and it's the reason I return to this salon besides the awesome talent.

Shannon is the absolute best! She’s an amazing blonde specialist and also knows how to make my hair look too cute. I feel bright and so blonde and have gotten so many compliments on how the color suits my skin. I was originally thinking of going more ashy but after seeing the highlights Shannon recommended we keep it bright and I’m so happy with her advice. She takes so much special care with her clients, she really takes the time needed and is such a perfectionist about her foils and her results. Would recommend for those in the carrollwood area who are looking for a good blonde stylist who uses great products (yay aveda!). Can’t wait to do extensions with her when my hair gets a little longer.

This was my first time visiting Salon Norrell. I was impressed with how clean it is and how courteous the staff are. Everyone is required to wear a mask and wash their hands. The restroom is spotless. The very lovely young Laura was my stylist, and she was very professional. She assessed my hair and asked me a lot of questions to determine exactly what I needed and wanted. She did a masterful coloring with highlights and lowlights and a trim, plus a restorative treatment because my hair is damaged and dry. When I left, my hair looked and felt like a million bucks, and so did I! I was treated like a VIP by all the staff at the salon, and I thoroughly enjoyed my day. I will be returning for more TLC with Laura. Full disclosure: Laura is my daughter, so this review, while honest, may be totally biased.

Absolutely 100% so excited to know about Salon Norrell. As a mom of two young children I really never get a chance to pamper myself. My sister gave me a gift card in September and I was only just now (Dec!) using it! From the second I called to make my appointment to the follow-up text after I left, every interaction was wonderful. Taylor is a new artist but she was professional, friendly, and super talented! She did a great job with my roots and cut/blow dry. I even decided to get a little crazy and add some curtain bangs. She asked for assistance when she needed it and seemed to be very confident and excited to be a stylist! She even sold me a product without even trying haha! Because of my experience today I can say that I will definitely be returning and I’m really excited about the new location they are opening in 2021 (which will offer manis and pedis!!). Kudos to the whole team- you really impressed me!

She showed me a menu of relaxing rituals to start my service, from which I could pick two. Kristine was my stylist and I could tell she loves and lives her craft. She gave a thorough consultation and had pictures on hand to help us both get an idea of what I wanted. After having a few bad experiences since moving to Florida last year, Kristine was able to clean up the mess others had made of my hair. Beyond her skill, which she seems to fine tune with regular continuing education, she had a bright heart and personality, and I'm grateful to have been connected with her. This was the best salon experience I've had in Florida yet and recommend her to my own clients when the opportunity arises! Salon Norrell is the place to be for stellar service and awesome people who love what they do.

After moving from Washington, DC to Tampa, I had quite a time finding someone that I was happy with that could do my hair. In fact, my last experience left me dreading going to the salon. I was directed to Kimberly who was new to the salon but had experience working in another state. She did a really nice job on my cut and then transitioned my color out of an awful state back to an auburn color with highlights. She did a great job. I highly recommend her!

Went in for a total transformation with Kailey and that’s what I got! I came in for a buzzed pixie from a grown out bob and think it came out pretty well. The hair cut was exactly what I wanted. The color scheme was not as pinpoint as I desired but will fix it on my own. Kailey is very sweet and perceptive and has a lot of potential as a stylist. Doing color is a long process and I believe with more time it would have come out perfect! Thank you for the experience!

Today I saw Shannon for a cut and style for my extensions. All I can say are good things. She knows her hair and what cuts will flatter you. She is also perfect and blending in extensions at any length to look seamless. The staff are all very friendly and accommodating during this weird time we're living through post-pandemic. I have been coming here for a little over than three years. Kristine has been my stylist and I could not be any happier! I discovered this place soon after I have relocated from Chicago, where I used to go to another Aveda salon. So, I had high expectations, and the courteous and friendly members of this location have never failed! I have coarse, unruly, wavy, and fully gray hair, and all four different styles that Kristine cut for me worked out terrific! Kristine knows every trick that a hairstylist is supposed to know--at least the ones who cut my hair!--from thinning out to cutting perfect layers. She is never shy of trying new styles, and best of all, if you showed her pictures of different styles that you like, she will give you one that combines all! Super creative without being crazy. She, like other staff members here , is very patient with the endless demands of her clients ( I brought in a co-worker for a hair cut, and Kristine did her daughter's hair and put a really nice, light, make-up). Well, in short, every time I get a haircut I know I will get compliments, even from my husband! I recommend the Salon and Kristine with no reservations for a 100% satisfactory experience!

The best thing that has happened to me since I moved to Tampa was to get Chelsea as my stylist. I have been to the salon 6 times now and Chelsea has cut my hair 5 of those times. I came in to get a black to blue ombre color. The lady that serviced me gave me the expectations that we can do that. I had a picture to reference from as well. Well... Let's say that it didn't go as planned. My hair was originally black and it still looks black after my service. I paid $255 for a hair cut and color. The hair cut was done poorly, as one section wasn't even cut and was noticeably longer than the rest. I had sections of COPPER in my hair. It was supposed to be black to blue. The rest of the staff at the time even came over to justify that what was done was done WELL. There is such a slight slight shade of blue but looks nothing like what I asked for. If the hair professionals know that the look I wanted was unrealistic, they should not have put me under the impression as if this what I wanted was possible. I am still in awe that I HAD to pay almost $300 for this terrible cut and color. I will be speaking to the manager. UPDATE!!!!!!! I recently went back to the salon to get my hair redone from the first mess up. I am so pleased with my hair and treatment I couldn't ask for more! I had Kat doing my hair and she is awesome. I highly recommend her to anyone wanting to do some fun colors in their hair as well as any other types of color and styles. She was very professional and enjoyable to talk to (: my haircut is awesome and my hair looks and feels awesome! Thanks Kat <3 Also I would like to state that the previous stylist is Chantelle and I wouldn't recommend her if you are doing any other colors besides blonde, brown, and black. She was very nice and pleasant as well, however I don't believe she knew what she was doing. She told me that clarifying shampoo was OKAY to use on colored hair... That is actually the opposite to the truth for anyone else wondering. Also she used the wrong technique for my hair as she did weaving instead of slicing. The worst was that my hair wasn't even cut evenly from her. Just simple long layers and face framing snips was what I asked for. Just go to Kat! She is great! Can't wait to go back and retone the color in a few weeks (: the only reason the review is 4 out of 5 is because the first time in was so bad. Otherwise it would be a 5 out of 5 for my second visit !
