Ingrid is a compassionate listener and delivers as requested. She's like a fairy godmother who made all my hair wishes come true! On street parking only but she was worth even that hassle! Behold! My before and after hair.

Lisa has given me one of the best haircuts I've ever had! She was so patient with my 2 years worth of grow-out & so knowledgeable about curly hair! I've been going to Deva Stylist exclusively for the past 6-7 years and Lisa is the best. She even showed me a few new techniques I'm incorporating into my day to day. As a curly girl you can't go wrong with Lisa at Haven:)

Unassuming, low-key salon space with beautiful nice natural light. The stylists are experienced yet the services are extremely affordable for the Seattle-area. I had a fantastic experience here for a color appointment. The stylist even suggested a slight change to my hair cut. I took her up on it and she was right, it turned out so well. She didn't even charge me for it. Will be coming back here.

Nancy did a great job cutting my hair. She was patient and she focused on understanding my goal for my hair. She never rushed and dedicated her time to making sure my experience was good. My hair looks and feels great! Nancy is definitely my go-to stylist in WA moving forward.

I researched curly hair specialists in Seattle area after deciding to transition to silver and embrace my natural wavy 2b/2c hair after years of using a flat iron and dyeing. I kept finding myself back at Haven’s website and finally made an appointment to see Lisa for my first curly cut. Lisa was wonderfully attentive and encouraging. I had some pics for inspiration and she asked good questions to get clarity on what I was looking for to make sure we were on the same page. She answered my questions patiently as I’m new to working with my natural texture. She respected and even encouraged my transition to silver, which I really appreciated and considered when searching for a new salon and specifically a new hair specialist. I loved the cut and will definitely go back to see Lisa for future cuts. If you’re thinking about making an appointment with Lisa and/or Haven, don’t hesitate! You won’t be disappointed.

Yvette is the absolute best at BBO and cutting hair! I’ve been getting Brazilian blowouts and cuts from Yvette for a little over a year and my hair has never been so easy to manage. I have moderately thick hair that goes from curly on the bottom to wavy on the top… it was a lot to handle but since I discovered Botox for my hair (BBO) to smooth that hair out….. I’ve had a good hair day ever since! Thank you Yvette for taking such good care of my hair! Also- BBOs can be a few hours and Yvette and I literally just laugh the whole time- and the salon is SOOOOO CUTE!!!! So if you’re going to do it… do it at Haven with Yvette 🤍 photos below of the process

When I moved to Seattle, the first task on my list was to find a Curly Girl stylist. Fortunately, one of the best in the field was in Seattle. I've been going to Lisa Pekar ever since - over 6 years now! She is attentive and truly puts her skills, knowledge and heart into every appointment. I appreciate her care of the salon too. Although not "modern" with all of the thrills and whistles, Haven Salon is has a sweet charm, a private outdoor space (great for summer when processing), and quieter than most busy salons. I highly recommend Haven Salon in the Ballard neighborhood of Seattle, and Lisa Pekar (although all of the stylists are great!).

I have been going to Nancy C for years at her old salon. It was a no brainer that I would continue seeing her at Haven Salon, no matter the distance. She takes the time to listen to what you want, and I’ve never been disappointed with my cut. She is also a genuinely nice person to spend time with.

This was my first time to Haven. Nancy did my hair and I love it ! She was awesome, polite and sweet. Nancy did my hair exactly the way I wanted. I definitely recommend getting a shampoo with your service because it was the most relaxing one I have ever had because she massages the scalp and I felt super ! I definitely will be going back to her again !

Ingrid did an amazing job on my hair. I went from mid-back, mixed waves/curls (I have fizzy smaller curls in some places, waves in others, ringlets in others, it's a lot) to a cute long bob that looked exactly like the reference photo I brought in! I left the salon with amazing curls, and I still loved my hair the next day when I straightened it a bit so it'd be easier to put up for the gym. It's been a week since my haircut, and I have genuinely liked my hair every day, no matter how little I do with it. Before getting my hair cut, I was unhappily putting my hair back every day and still feeling bothered by certain sections that looked bad in a ponytail and braids. On another note, at one point during the haircut, I asked Ingrid if she needed to cut my hair a bit shorter to match the reference, and she said no because it'd be the correct length with my natural curls. She was 100% right, so you should definitely trust her curl expertise.
