I absolutely LOVE this salon. Especially the hairstylist named Keeley. I have been going to her for 3 years. My mom who lives in NC now only gets her hair cut by her when she visits. I have changed styles so many times; long layers, short shop, funky fringe, undercut, you name it- that girl can do it all. Her color correction and dying skills are top notch. Not only does it look good leaving, but the style and cut always grows out wonderfully too.

No one has touched my hair other than Keeley in over 3 years. Having my hair cut by her always brings compliments everywhere I go. I chose to keep my hair long and Keeley has helped me with its care so I always look my best.

I think Kelsey is just great...for color and cuts. She's super friendly and really makes you feel comfortable the entire time. Lan styled my hair for a recent event and did a fantastic job, too. I've been looking for a long term stylist and salon for years and finally found that at Rocket Science. Thank you to the entire team, you guys rock. Omg!!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE I went into Rocket Science with Blonde and Black hair came out with beautiful blonde and red. I will most definitely go back in 6 week found my favorite new hair salon in NOLA!!!!

I stopped in while on vacation for a quick blow out and was so pleased with this salon. Not only did they offer me an adult beverage (yay) but even with my insane amount of hair made me feel like the most important client in the room. To be fair, I warned them ahead of time that I have long thick hair and expected to see an additional charge on the bill, but there was nothing of the sort. I highly recommend booking here if you're a local or a visitor - they'll take great care of you!

Kelsey was awesome! I was a little apprehensive about having my haircut because I am a Hairstylist in DC and feel like it is sooooo hard to get a good haircut with curls/waves... She did a great job. She listened to me and actually delivered on what I wanted. Definitely check her out!

October 20, 2018 Drove all the way from Mandeville to have my hair cut at this salon. I decided to give it a try when I accidentally came across this place when I was in the area. I thought the atmosphere had a cool vibe in a charming Victorian home that was converted into a salon. The stylists appeared as though they would be experienced with the latest trends which is what made me willing to drive so far from where I live. I went with the idea of cutting my medium length hair to a medium graduated bob. I walked out with basically a shorter version of what I had. There was no graduation in length, basically the same length all the way around. Nothing like the 5 photos that I showed the stylist. I rated this place 3 stars because even though it was nothing near what I asked for, it wasn't a bad style, and the price was reasonable. I also failed to let her know that I wasn't happy because she had another client waiting, and I didn't have the time to have her redo it, nor was I willing to drive back another day (I live an hour away). To me, I could've had the same cut that I received yesterday with any salon in the Mandeville area. It was definitely not worth the drive! The next day I went to a salon in my area to get exactly what I wanted, unfortunately I had to pay full price again!

Glynn is fabulous in every way! She recently worked some magic on my hair and turned me into a pink goddess! My hair is pretty dark so it took some work but she made me feel super reassured and I walked out feeling pretty in pink and will definitely go back to her for my touch up! Also....the head massage while washing my hair...sooooo good! And if that wasn't enough of a reason to check out this place, you get treated to beer or sometimes bubbles

This place rules. I moved here a year and a half ago and was so scared to have my "first" haircut at a new place. I came across Rocket Science and have been so thrilled ever since. I never knew my hair could look so good leaving a salon? Daniella is magical and so is this space! Highly recommend

Kelsey is fantastic! I came to her with a hair trauma, my hair was thinning due to medication, and she gave me a hair style that added tons of body and shape. Most of all it is giving me confidence and peace of mind while I deal with an already stressful situation. That's why this place is the best in town. I've been going there for 5 years and I've never had an experience that wasn't awesome.

Kelsey did a wonderful job cutting my hair today. I showed her a pic of an a-line undercut shave with graphics that I thought could only be accomplished by a barber and was surprised to learn that she is a cosmetologist and a barber! My nails were amazing so 5 stars for Paris, but the receptionist should be more welcoming when greeting guests. She barely said anything. I said I'm here for Paris and she said "okay." She didn't tell me how long, don't even know if she told Paris I was there, she didn't ask me if I would like anything to drink. She didn't say have a good day as I left either. This is half of the salon experience.

Always a pleasant experience with Paris. She knows what she’s doing & gets everything done in a timely fashion with reasonable prices. Appointment only. I won’t go to anyone else and the salon is super cute & comfortable. :D

Great salon for men and women. As a visitor to New Orleans, they fit me right in for a beard trim. Over the top service! Eyebrows, ears, trimmed my sides a bit even! Fantastic! I would highly recommend. Great atmosphere and friendly people.

Great salon. All the syltists are very good. I'm a mom and didn't want the typical Uptown salon where it takes three hours for a cut and highlight and leave looking like everyone else. I really wanted a salon that was current and hip and could apply that same creativity to give me a sytle that fits with my professional career. Prices are very reasonable and competitive.

No matter what you are looking to get done, this salon will do it with perfection. Every time. Paris, the nail tech, is the best in the city. Period. From crazy jewels and sparkles to basic mani pedi's, she will be the best in the city. Their hair services (brittni)have always been amazing. Even looking around at everyone else getting their hair done, I'm blown away. This is the only salon in Nola that will treat you right in every way.

I don't know who was paid to leave reviews, but that place is not cheap or reasonably priced. They tried to charge me $45 for a wash and dry and $65 for a cut and wash. Are you cutting with gold scissors?!
