Kelly Grimes has been my go-to girl for a few years now. I’ve seen her work wonders with not only my hair, but other friends’ of mine with completely different hair types. She takes her time to understand what you need and has helped my hair grow healthier with the awesome products she’s recommended. I’ve been to oodles of other salons in the city and this place tops the charts. I highly recommend Kelly and the staff at Hair Loft.

So I found this place this morning on Google maps. I Loved that it actually had a reservation system So that way I knew I had my time. While I went into the building, it was super clean and professional and just had an awesome vibe to it. Eric was my stylist and he hooked me up with a great cut and was awesome with his skills and conversation (check out his podcast). If I am ever in town again, I'm coming here, 100%. Any out-of-towners should do so themselves. I had a blast!!

AMAZING!!! I am in NOLA only for a month and I needed a new hair! I found Alaina after 4 days of research.. ladies do not even hesitate even a second. She is the best hair stylist (magician) you can ever meet! It’s 09.07pm and she is still doing my hair. She never let you go before she and yourself fully satisfied. Super kind, friendly, professional and talented. Please note that I’m Turkish and my hair extremly tough. US products don’t work for my hair and I have super black hair but this magician lady made it work. Super thankful to find her. Unfortunately I am not here forever and she knows it. Her goal is not get committed client and money, she only values fully satisfaction for her client. I truely appreciate all her hard work and I could not be anymore satisfied! Love Alaina’s work of art ♥️❤️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️

Kelly did such a great job taking my hair from brown to blonde! She was so kind and patient with me, answered all my questions, and did a great job getting the color I was looking for. Everyone at the salon was very friendly. I highly recommend Kelly, she has a great knowledge of haircare and really listened to what I was looking for. Thanks Kelly!!

It is so difficult to find a stylist who knows how to cut curly hair... I have horror stories! But I'm happy to say that isn't the case here - Maegan was amazing! The 1st thing she did? Talk to me about my hair care routine - how often I wash it, how much time I spend primping every day, what I was looking for... Only after she had all this information did she make suggestions and start cutting - and she did a wonderful job. I'm going to be moving to NOLA soon and I'm so happy to have a go to stylist already lined up!

Holly understands my wants and advises me in the right direction for the absolute best finished product. We have consulted on color and that is my next appointment. Meagan and all of her assistants are amazing!!! They accommodate hijabis so nicely, you just have to call in advance to coordinate. One of the best haircuts I’ve ever gotten.

I’ve been going here and seeing Alaina for a few years now, and I cannot recommend her enough! At this point, I’ve recommended about 5 of my friends and they have also been going to her regularly. Alaina and the staff at Hair Loft are so fun, kind and attentive. I can tell Alaina what I’m going for, and she will do that and so much more! Whether you’re going for a simple trim or getting highlights, Alaina will make you feel comfortable and have you laughing the whole appointment. As for the salon itself, it’s immaculate and modern. The owners strive for their employees to continue their education. The stylists are always participating in furthering their skill sets with new classes and trainings.
