Are you hoping to break away from the big box salons and find yourself a salon with innovative vision and creativity? Wild Hare Salon and Gallery is a space that inspires the creative side in those who have dreams of amazing hair! I had always wanted to try extensions, and it was by luck that I found Mackenzie! Her professionalism is on point, she’s experienced with the many different types of Bellami extensions and is able to help you choose which type will work the best for your lifestyle and hair goals. Bellami hair is great quality with great longevity and versatility. It colors well, is easy to style, and comes in a variety of styles and lengths. The group of stylists at the salon work as a team, and if Mackenzie didn’t have space to fit me in, she does her best to fit me in somewhere. Wild Hare Salon and Gallery is a place I’d highly recommend! Pop in for a visit and strut out with a confidence you never knew was buried deep inside :)

I go see Rachel for my extensions and she is the best!! Really cares for her clients and I always feel that I’m provided with a safe, comfortable space. She does amazing work, couldn’t recommend more!

Mackenzie is the absolute best!! I wouldn’t see anyone else for my extensions or color. I had a nightmare of a hair dresser before Mackenzie and she was able to make my hair and energy bounce back in just one appointment! If you’re thinking about it, just do it :)

My first visit here and definitely won't be my last! Walking in I wanted to have dramatic fainting spells on all of the neat chaise lounges - very Victorian Alice in Wonderland vibe - then Mackenzie didn't hesitate when I wanted to make a "drastic change" and transformed my grown-out, hadn't had a cut in over a year and a half hair into a short, stylish bob. It was my first time "out" other than work or a Target run since COVID and I felt very comfortable with staff all wearing masks with space for each client. Now I just need to figure out when to get back in for color!

I love going to Jessica. Iv been going to her since she worked in Alexandria which was like 4 years ago. Where ever she goes I go. Great with reds great with extensions. Every hair need I have she meets and if there is a miscommunication she will always do her best to make her client happy.

I cannot sing the praises of this salon enough! Mackenzie did both my balayage and my extensions installation (I-tips) and when I say she works miracles, I MEAN IT! Today I experienced a salon filled with laughter and talent. Mackenzie made sure I was comfortable and happy with my results throughout the entire process. I felt listened to during the process and felt beautiful when it was complete! If you are considering either coloring or extensions then book a consult and see for yourself how wonderful the experience is. Mackenzie has years of experience and her results show it. Wild Hare has found a loyal customer in me today and it's entirely due to all the hard work and care put into everything they did during my appointment.

He cares about getting every detail just right and provides a great experience. What more can you ask for when getting a haircut, a shave or both.

I had recently cut my hair very short due to self inflicted bleach damage. I felt completely out of character and not comfortable with my hair. I didn’t feel like myself at all! I saw a post from a girl that I knew on Facebook who received extensions from the co owner Mackenzie Labine and I gotta say I was blown away! I made an online appointment with her and wow did she exceed my expectations! I must admit I was very un educated and a little intimidated by weaves and extensions. Mackenzie was super kind and helpful in explaining the whole process. You can tell she wants her clients to be happy and feel comfortable about the services they receive. After chatting with her we began the process. I also highly recommend getting a consolation set up before diving in. Super informative and helpful to know whats what. I received a beaded weave installation with quality hair that Mackenzie highly recommends and is an ambassador for. The company is called Bellami and the quality is extremely good. I also have naturally wavy hair with a lot of thickness and she found some that matched the texture and body perfectly. The process was very easy (for me). Mackenzie is a wizard at her craft and is such a lovely personality that I felt like I was chatting with a gal pal. I felt like a new person when we were done. I finally feel like myself again and I cannot recommend this salon anymore than I do. I will be back for more services! Also the decor and beautiful, dark bubblegum goth vibe. Lovvveeeee it!!!!!

Karen Ignatowicz is the BEST hairstylist I have ever used. Bar None, her hair cutting skills surpass the competition in spades. I have a cowlick which is tricky to work around in my bangs and fine hair. Karri (what I call her) never disappoints. She is also HIGHLY skilled and experienced with color and styling. Every 4 weeks I look forward to my appointment and we have a great time. She is hilarious, positive, and an excellent listener. Best hair salon in Minneapolis. I had dyed my hair purple on my own and after it faded, it turned a horrible blue color and I thought I was going to have to cut it all off. Rachel did an amazing job at bringing my hair back to it's natural color and didn't have to take much length off. She was super sweet and easy to talk to and the art and shop that is also in the salon had some of the most unique items I've ever seen. I would recommend this place to anyone! xx

There is no substitute for a REALLY good hair person. I love this place ever since I was recommended by an online friend. I’ve seen picture of it so many times and finally got the chance to go in after procrastinating so many times. The inside feels like a goth mansion and I got Mackenzie as my hair stylist since I didn’t have a preference on their scheduling site. Mackenzie was sweet enough to have a chat with me after my haircut but i felt kind of socially anxious since I haven’t been around new people in a while. Especially those with the same interest as me. I’m still adjusting into being social. Anyways I plan to go to Mackenzie for My next appointment. Hope to do some color with her this time. I would to try Rachel but I already have started a connection with Mackenzie 😭😂. Maybe next time when i move back to Minnesota and have longer hair lol
