Jai is a master hair stylist who cares about the health of her client's hair. She listens and provides a hair care plan options for you to choose from based on your lifestyle. She's honest and kind. I 100% recommend her!

I started trusting Jai with my hair a couple years ago and I will not ever see anyone else as long as I live in the Midwest. I am in the medical field, and to me, Jai is like The Hair Doctor, The Hair Healer. She is intuitive and diagnoses your hair type, your hair woes, what is missing in your hair regimen, and what will make my hair pop. She takes time to explain everything she recommends for my hair and why. Now, I go in on a regular basis and I let her decide what my hair needs. I generally get natural hair styles- twist outs. But with her, I have tried so many new things and have never been disappointed. I got my hair colored in auburn last fall, the first time I ever dyed my hair in my life, and I LOVE it! I've gotten my hair silk pressed several times (and I thought I would never go straight again) and I LOVE IT. She has done crochets a few times and I LOVE it. People ALWAYS compliment me on my hair no matter what she has done. And I always have fun in the process!

There's a TLDR at the end for people who don't wanna read the whole review. Jai has been my hairstylist since she was working at another salon. Every time anyone I know is looking for an amazing stylist I recommend Jai. I have a ton of hair and she's just a miracle worker. She even did my hair for a cruise. When I decide what I want to do with color I'll go straight to Jai. I'd trust her to free style with my hair. TLDR: She's an amazing hairstylist, even with people with a ton of long thick hair like me. She's professional. Wonderful to be around. Great prices. Top notch with color. She gets started on time and has great communication skills.

Ms. Jai was very respectful and very knowledgeable when it comes to ethnic hair. She informed me how to maintain my hair throughout the whole styling process. She makes her environment a judge free zone she is very energetic and makes you laugh.. Her and her daughter are a great duo in the hairstyling business! Jai is an amazing stylist! I've had her do several different things with my hair over the last few years and have been pleased each time. She is phenomenal with natural hair, coloring services, cutting, various styles (from silk press, blow outs, wash and go, formal styles, etc) and takes great care in maintaining the hair's health and integrity. She previously took me from my natural dark brown (almost black) to blonde. Then we went to different fun fashion shades of bronzes, pink, fuchsia, wine, until transitioning back to a more natural brown. The health of my naturally curly hair was maintained the entire time! I have also had her do various styles on my daughter's hair including a sew-in (weave) with leave out for her 17th birthday, that people couldn't tell was not her natural hair. Jai is talented, professional, knowledgeable and enjoyable to be around! We look forward to our time in her chair!

I've been going to Jai for the past three years and I've been impressed with her natural hair skills. I have natural 4B/4C hair and wear it straight. I've had color services from navy blue to jet black, and now back to my natural brown, keratin treatments, sew-ins, and silk presses and my hair always comes out great, just flowing in the wind. Also it must be said, that Jai knows how to give you a trim to maintain healthy hair without leaving you bald-headed - you know how scissor happy some stylists can be. Jai keeps it 100 - you will look amazing and feel great when you leave her chair!
