Searching high and low for a better nail salon? Been to what feels like the same mediocre nail salon over and over? Lucky for you, a new salon does exist, with a gifted nail tech. Located at the lower level of a commerial building, you'll see a one-stop beauty palace in the making. Venture down a welcoming flight of stairs, and you'll find a grand, airy space that opens up into the beginnings of a beauty compound: a few ivory-colored nail tech desks and a few hairdresser chairs. But, this new & upcoming salon setting (located under a tattoo parlor) is NOT in the rough; it's coming together quite neatly- with all the colors a princess would love- traditional nail salon hype in bold pastels, various different Marilyn Monroe Photos that all say "glamor", and even a swing with a midsummer night's dreamy backdrop for selfies. This review focuses on the talented nail tech known as Wendy. Now this woman can seriously do some nails. She is artsy- crafty by nature and detail is her middle name. Note: she doesn't fly through her appointments, her quality work takes time, so plan on freeing up your afternoon. Did you know that "gell polish" typically goes on an "acrylic set" at your everyday salon, but there is an actual "gell set"? Well I know now, thanks to Wendy! Wendy tells her clients about the different options in the wonderful world of nails! She accommodates the requests of her clients, from nail art to encapsulation- and does a beautiful job in shaping the nail.
