Absolutely WONDERFUL! To say that I am beyond pleased with how my cut turned out would be an understatement. I told Ashley I wanted a fresh cut with layers to give my hair the movement that I adore. Over the last 6 years that I've been going to her, she never fails to deliver the best cuts ever!!! Ashley has been giving me a razor cut for the last 4 years and I'm so happy with it! My hair is always healthy and soft with lots of body and movement since she's been cutting it this way, I am so happy she was able to fit me in before my birthday so I look and feel like a bombshell! I'm so happy she encouraged me to try out something new with time with the face framing layers! I am so happy, and cannot wait to see Ashley again for my color appointment!!!

I have been to this location twice and have had my hair cut on both the salon and barber side. Both experiences were great and I am looking forward to returning for a 3rd time. Alie was excellent and personable. Outside of haircuts, their service offerings such as beard trimming and eyebrow waxing are greatly appreciated and in line with the other great services they offer. You won’t go wrong if you go here.

I really like my stylist Alie Johannes. She does a great job and is a very welcoming presence. But the salon has a lot of policies about cancellation. They require half up front, require you to confirm your appointment by text, and also say that if you cancel within 24 hours you may not receive a refund of your deposit. So I was pretty shocked when I got a call 15 minutes before my appointment saying that they wouldn't be able to have me at my scheduled time and required me to re-schedule. I found that very unprofessional and frustrating. Seems like a good salon, but I was very put off by that experience.

Aveda salon, enough said, right?? Great product line, as always...but the scalp massage and associated aromatherapy?? Puhleeze, can you come to my place everyday?? I can’t say enough for Ashley, my hair stylist for about three years now. I’ll follow her anywhere, plus, she provides excellent makeup tips. Ample parking nearby, great customer service, you get the jist of it, get in and enjoy!

Kevin suggested a custom hair piece and gave me a fun haircut that really highlights my features—and I swear I'm a brand new woman! The stylist Austin was amazing to work with. He was great with gradually cutting/styling to make sure it was what I wanted. Not only that, he even gave me a couple of tips for styling my hair on my own. I definitely plan on coming back in the future!

Ashley is, by far, the best stylist I have ever gone to. Not only has every hair cut been amazing, not only has she colored my hair to a beautiful shade of dark plum purple, but she did my hair and makeup(and all of my bridesmaids' makeup) for my wedding earlier this month. Everyone looked absolutely beautiful, but I have to tell you about staying power for a second. My wedding makeup was on around noon. Never once was there a smear or anything, my lipstick only came off around 11pm because I was taking shots of vodka(I had a fantastic time, thanks for asking). I woke up the next morning with eyelashes still securely stuck to my face. My hair also did not budge, and I had to have my mom help me get all the pins out. Of all the things I had to worry about during a 2020 wedding(thank god its over lol) my hair and makeup were not any of those things. GO TO ASHLEY!!

Go to Austin! He's wonderful! Without exaggeration, this was the best experience I've had in at least 15 years. Full disclosure, I don't go to salons regularly because I always leave feeling like the cut I got wasn't what I wanted, largely due to the fact my hair is so fine and many stylists don't seem to know how to work with it. I've asked for dry cuts in the past (which works best for my hair) and inevitably the stylist sprays it anyway and I get the same sad haircut every time no matter how much I pay. After about a year and a half without a cut I got so desperate I figured even a disappointing cut would be better than nothing so I rolled the dice and called Robert Laurence. Ok let's fast forward! Got to the salon, super clean! I didn't feel uncomfortable at all and I'm a covid panic person. Did the hair wash thing (I forgot what a treat it is to have someone wash your hair!!), Went back to the chair and I thought 'here we go, he's gonna cut it wet.' Nope. I didn't even have to say anything. He went for the blow dryer, dried my hair first, cut it (beautifully I might add) and I now have the most satisfactory haircut I've had in almost 2 decades. This marks the first time in my life I've made a secondary appointment right as I was leaving. I repeat. Ask for Austin. He's. The. Best!

I have been getting my hair done at Robert Laurence for a few years and it is truly one of the most professional, well-run salons I have been to. I was nervous about going anywhere in the post-COVID world but I should have known... the salon had been set up to maximize the safety of its clients. Every precaution was taken while services were provided, and somehow the staff managed to maintain the same atmosphere that makes clients feel welcome and comfortable during their visits. I’m beyond impressed by the quality of services and I always walk out of Robert Laurence looking and feeling like A million bucks without having to spend that on the experience!

I’ve been going to Bridget at RL for more than 10 years. I have curly hair and she always gives me an amazing cut. Even with growth and missing 1-2 cuts the past few months it held its shape quite well. The salon is airy and pleasant, and lots of safety measures right now for the virus. But the neck rub w the shampoo is still happening! This is an Aveda salon so all the products are fantastic quality and smell wonderful but natural and not overpowering. Highly recommend.

Wonderful atmosphere and incredibly pleasant staff. I went in on the busiest hair cutting day of the week with a hair crisis, and they were able to squeeze me in. Kim was very kind and compassionate, giving my at-home bleached hair a treatment that felt more like a spa experience and a solid, adorable 50s Audrey Hepburn pixie cut. She went over my options and wasn't rushing me to decide the course of action with further coloring; she actually cares about the health of the hair. She somehow even made the uneven, rose gold (I was trying for a pastel pink) tint to my hair so balanced and rich that I actually kind of like it (happy accident hair "fiasco"?). Perhaps best of all, I wasn't overly charged like I usually fear with "uber fancy" hair salons. I absolutely recommend Robert Laurance Hair Studio! I'll be coming back in future for sure.

I went to have my hairs cut; they had been causing problems for some time. They needed to be put in their place. Kim, Robert Laurence's champion of choice for this battle, seemed prepared for the ensuing struggle. She battled my hairs for what seemed like hours. There were moments when I thought my hairs would get the best of her. But, in the end, Kim prevailed and the struggle ended with her standing atop a pile of fallen hairs, victorious, and gloating (I may have thought the comments about my hairs dead progenitors was a bit much, but Kim struggled much. So, I let it slide). I will definitely visit again.

Edited week or so post-haircut: They give mediocre, expensive haircuts. Just wanted a 3 and half with the clippers, blended on top and my bangs trimmed up. It looked short enough/blended correctly directly after getting the cut, but after a week it was clearly not cut short enough nor as it blended well. I will not be returning as I will be taking my business elsewhere. Unfortunately, as I found out today and despite what their website states, they are NOT always "no appointment necessary" for barber cuts. Just keep that in mind before you waste a lunch break or some such attempting to get your haircut!
