I hired Kerry for my bridal hair and have nothing but fantastic things to say about Kerry and how talented she is. I had two terrible hair trials in a row and Kerry was nice enough to do my hair on a weekend she wasn’t originally planning to work. Kerry made my day so stress free because I knew I was in good hands and was going to love the way my hair looked. I would absolutely recommend Kerry and her team for any bridal needs!

I’ve been going to orbit for years now and my whole family goes there as well. I have seen many stylists there and have loved them all. For the past year or so I have consistently had my hair done by Leah and she is so so wonderful and sweet. Whether I’m getting a cut or a highlight from her she always does an amazing job and I always leave the salon super happy. Really recommend!

Angela (one of the owners) has been cutting my hair for over 25 years. Now she also cuts both of my daughters' hair. She is always very generous with her time and very invested in making sure all of us are happy with our hair. On the very few occasions over the decades that we've experimented with a new look and I've been less than happy, she has immediately worked with me to make things better! Angela's open and friendly manner, love for styling hair, and ability to listen to what the client needs make her an exceptional stylist. Angela has also given us very thoughtful recommendations about products and valuable advice about hair care. As evidenced by our history together, I wouldn't get my hair cut by anyone but Angela...and my girls feel the same way!

I’ve been coming here for a year and getting my haircut from Cherie. I was impressed with how she took notes after each cut so we could compare what was done and how it turned out. As a guy with very unpredictable curly hair, this is important, because after 4 weeks (my usual schedule) her skill meant my hair was always still manageable. The staff is also very nice and accommodating when I have to call and reschedule cuts. The location is nice and easily accessible from the highway. Lastly, Cheri puts a hot towel on my hair for a minute while allowing the conditioner to set it. It’s like getting a hot towel after a long haul first-class flight, except better. I didn’t know it existed beforehand, but now that I do, getting a haircut without one will feel like flying coach.

As usual, everyone at Orbit was great. Alyssa at the front desk is always on top of her game; she had called Chelsea down before I even got in the door! Chelsea cuts my hair like no other. I have a few cowlicks and she's able to manage them. I was in a rush on my most recent visit and Chelsea was able to expedite my haircut and get me in and out quickly and happily. Plus, you gotta love the Lake Champlain Chocolates on the front counter!

I have been flying to NYC for my ridiculously expensive haircuts on 5th Avenue for a dozen years about twice/year. After a recent move to Washington DC, I decided to research for a new local stylist. I went to one of the best I could find and was disappointed. While back in Vermont I decided to give my amazing Vermont massage therapist (Merlin Trefethen) recommendation a try....it was his wife, Meryl Trefethen at Orbit. I was nervous to do so in case I didn’t like her cut, it would be awkward to still see Merlin for my Vermont massages. However I did just that. Meryl is a treasure! Not only did I LOVE the cut, I loved the neck massage, hot towels and her gently, yet thorough head massage and shampoo! She was outstanding! It was an amazing experience. Do yourself a favor and “Experience” a cut by Meryl. It was the first time in a long time I started receiving a lot of compliments on my hair!! Yay Meryl!

Kerry is excellent. She takes her time to ensure she understands what you want. She will chat if you want or not if you wanna read. She is very skilled at cut and color. She also gives excellent advice on styling and doesn't try to get you to have services you don't need. She is a true professional in her craft.

I saw Leiah, and she was fantastic. I was going short from chest length hair and after showing her a photo she accurately captured what I wanted and adapted it for me in a way that looks great. I was very pleased with their service.

I have been going to Orbit for over 3 years now and love my experience each time. It's such a calm, relaxing environment and a nice retreat every 6 months or so. Great experience with all the employees there and would highly recommend to others.
