I have been going to Toni at Hair Forte for years and she always listens to me and makes my hair goals come true. Not only does she accomplish what I have in mind for my appointment, she always educates me on my hair type and how to properly take care of it between visits. The salon is always clean, everyone is incredibly friendly and welcoming. I never walk in and feel ignored, someone says hello almost immediately. I’ve referred a lot of my patients and friends to Toni and every one of them has thanked me for connecting them to this salon. Definitely recommend giving Hair Forte a try and asking for Toni!

Got my hair done today! Mary Rose was so good! She did the color and highlights. I wanted perfectly! She even fixed the mess up my old hairdresser did! Definitely going to come here now over my old hairdresser as long as Mary Rose is there!

MaryRose is an absolute gem! I gave her a vague idea of the highlights I wanted for my wedding and she hit the nail on the head, going through photos and ideas with me until I was 100% happy. Outcome was exactly what I wanted, she's amazing!

MaryRose is such a sweetheart! First time bleaching and toning my hair, was a little nervous. It looks fantastic and I'm sooooo pleased with the results. Will def be going back for upkeep and cuts.

Kathy has been my stylist for over 20 years! I have very thick wavy hair that is challenging to work with. Kathy is a true professional- she keeps up-to-date on technique and style. I highly recommend her and the entire staff at Hair Forte.

I love the fact that everyone at Hair Forte seems to genuinely enjoy what they do. Tom and Kathy, owners, obviously take the care of their clients and employees seriously. I highly recommend Hair Forte!

Finally, the hair gods led me here! Not gonna lie. I don't just let anyone touch my mullet. After years of deep soul searching, I evolved my ultimate hair form. It is a faux hawk with faded sides and a long luxurious rat tail. Energizing AND graceful. Despite needing work only occasionally, it is important that the cut is precise and accurate. This isn't an old school MacGyver setup. I don't have time for a hair dryer. 60 seconds and I am done. Enter...Patty. I took a shot in the dark because my previous stylist retired (Hey Venus!!!) and I had just gotten mangled after another cut by a stylist in my new search. With a short description of what I was hoping for, she intently went to work. The end result was sublime. The sides were tightly faded and precise. The faux hawk had just the right contrasting amount of controlled chaos. And just like that, my search for a stylist was over. Usually, it takes a few tries for a stylist to figure out what exactly I want, but she did awesome the first time. I can't speak to their other services, but I can highly recommend them for the ultimate mullet care! (They have Redken hair products for men which I have just switched to.) Thank you Patty and the staff for great service!

I've been going here since I moved to Vermont and I absolutely love getting my hair cut here! The staff are all friendly, professional, and willing to answer any questions that you may have. The prices are affordable for the quality and service that's provided. All of the stylists are wonderful but definitely ask for Brittany, she's amazing!

New to the area, and walked in with without a solid idea of what I was looking for...Left there with probably one of the best haircuts I've had in a long time. (Along with plenty of tips for taking care of it) Environment was nice, good care and conversation, and very affordable. Likely my go-to for hair now.

I had such breakage from going blond.... after a horrible (color) experience at another salon my hair was just so damaged and had such breakage that it was no use trying to continue growing it out... the young lady I spoke with there made me feel as comfortable as I was able to. I showed her a couple of pics of shoulder length cuts I liked and seemed to know what I was talking about.... (but I was still pretty traumatized so wasn't 100% confident I would get the look I really wanted but figured she'd get it close enough. I was absolutely thrilled. She literally gave me the cut and style I had to T. And showed me how I could achieve the same look myself at home♡ Couldn't have been happier!

The salon has a warm, friendly atmosphere and the staff--Kathy, Patty, Liza and the others -- are skilled and meticulous. Good place. Would not recommend if you wanted to get nails done, as they are renovating right now, but otherwise I really enjoyed it, I got a manicure and a pedicure for 50 dollars and the woman was very nice and accommodating.
