I went into this beautiful place that is located right below a tattoo parlor. The women there are fabulous, excellent service, complementary wine you got your little jewelry set up in the lobby area I believe the lady’s name was Jess. And she did an amazing job. Highly recommend I give more than five stars. They were very patient. They take any medical issues if you have like ingrown hairs very serious they’re very accommodating very fun and the best part about it. It’s all women and I love seeing women in business more power to each and everyone of you guys in there and I look forward to coming back and being a regular customer

Cannot say enough good things about Darling Sugar and the services that they provide. I've been getting sugared by Emilie for a few years now and I will not go anywhere else! She is always super professional but also so easy and fun to talk to. Emilie has sugared my bikni, lip, and brows and always does an outstanding job of the hair removal and taking care of my skin after. She has TRANSFORMED my eyebrows for me. Emilie is a great person to see for a comfortable, positive, and fabulous sugar. The salon is always clean and the space is comfortable. Booking appointments is easy. They also sell the cutest earrings from local small businesses in the lobby, which i love. Highly recommend.

I've been going to Darling Sugar for over a year now and I can't recommend it enough!! Vanessa and her team are incredible estheticians. Cat is the BEST. She has a gentle touch, is so efficient and experienced, and honestly makes the process as painless as possible. All the ladies are great! The booking process is really smooth now (they switched to Square and I'm so happy!!!), their calendar is very flexible, and they recently redid the lobby and it looks great!!! I cannot recommend them enough. I am a loyal customer and will continue to be one as long as I live in the area!!!

On my long road trip, I've been trying to keep up on my sugaring maintenance and was thrilled to find a next-day appointment at Darling Sugar. (With a very fluid trip itinerary, it's hard to plan very far in advance.) The fluffy cat outside the door doesn't belong to anyone at DS, but they were such a sweet greeter! The business was very clean and comfortable and the staff were friendly. I have to give Jade some kudos, as this was my least painful sugaring experience ever and she was very efficient. However, a few hours after my appointment, I had a chance to inspect the areas I had sugared. I was very disappointed to see significant bruising in one area (which hasn't happened to me before), and a surprising number of hairs remained. Because I had gotten back on the road to my next destination, I couldn't ask the business to fix the latter issue. I shouldn't have to spend a bunch of time contorted into a pretzel to tweeze a bunch of hair after I already paid to have them removed. My experience wasn't all bad, but it does make me appreciate even more how outstanding my regular sugarist back home is.

Cat was absolutely perfect. I was blown away at how she was able to get me through the wax with minimal pain. She was great at distracting me with conversation, and guided me to breathe during the harder parts. Brazillians are never painless, but she made it as pleasant and it could possibly be. I won't see anyone else now!!

Been going here for about 6 years, only ever do bikini/Brazilian. Vanessa and her team make it easy and though it’s never painless it’s nice to be in good hands! Love the waiting area, always have good magazines and cute Jewelry for sale. During Covid they took great precautions to take care of themselves and me and I felt safe throughout.

Darling Sugar is the best. I am so glad I found them. They really are West Seattle's best brow bar. I see Emily when I go for a brow sugaring and tint. I've been going to Darling Sugar for about four years, and there's a reason I keep coming back! Everyone I've worked with is super professional while being engaging, and are also very knowledgable. Additionally if you're weighting Darling Sugar against a salon with waxing, I'll say that sugaring overall is much better for sensitive skin, aaaand if you happen to have any residual bits on you, sugar comes off with water. Wax decidedly ... does not. Specifically, Vanessa and Emily are both phenomenal - definitely give it a shot and you won't regret it! Grab a coffee at the corner coffee shop afterwards for a pick me up ;)

When I heard she moved to Darling Sugar, I quite literally drove 2 hours because I refuse to go to another human being. She is quick, professional, gentle, kind, and has the BEST music. I was pretty afraid to get the boys sugared, and I'm not gonna lie, the first time was quite a shock, but the results speak for themselves, and now I'm back every 4 weeks for a tune up. Sammie is an excellent sugarist - good conversation it what could be (and isn’t) an awkward situation, and as a plus tends to play metal music (which can easily hide your screams if it gets too painful)

I've been to see Vanessa two or three times now. The entire experience, from scheduling to completion, was easy and enjoyable. Vanessa's website utilizes an online booking app that gives a nice list of options and time slots. It is always possible to find a workable appointment, and I appreciated the list of offered services -- I had my lashes tinted last time, and had never even heard of such a thing until I booked my appointment to have my brows sugared! Her office / salon is charming and comfortable. Everything is very clean and organized, and as a laboratorian I appreciate not having to worry about cross-contamination or infection. The waiting area is pleasant and nicely decorated. The whole place has a soothing quality about it. Vanessa is pofessional and friendly. She has a keen eye for brow-shaping, and always manages to accomplish her task without causing discomfort. She is well-versed in the area of skincare and moisturizing, as well as cosmetic applications. She actually gave me a wonderful suggestion about how to utilize white eye pencil to help raise my brow line (I'm getting old!), and I've been following this tidbit of advice ever since! I will definitely be back!

The place was cute and chic really like how they had it set up. You'd have to go around the back of the house since they share the place with two other businesses. Good pricing. I had Ayla and she was very good AND gentle for my first time sugaring. She gave us a background of what needed to be done and to take care afterwards. I saw Vanessa 6 months postpartum and boy did it hurt even though I used to get sugared regularly till delivery but she made the process as painless as possible by keeping me busy chatting. Best place in West Seattle...and I've been to probably 5 other places in this area. Vanessa has been able to be a boss business owner who you see sugaring. She has very little turnover in her staff which tells you a lot about how she treats people and how they feel about going to work. I've had sugarists who I only booked with for a while bc we became friends but I go in every 4 weeks and decided to just go to whomever is available because her entire staff is so well trained, you get an amazing result with any of these bright young women. High recommend for anyone looking to get sugared. It is way less painful than waxing, and the results last longer. Darling Sugar is a West Seattle business that truly deserves to stick around. They really care about your experience.
