Came to Radiant Waxing for the first time and was greeted upon arriving by several bright smiles. I was promptly checked into my appointment and given paperwork to get me started. The girls here were very friendly, thorough, and knowledgeable. Heaven was my waxing technician and she made the entire process very comfortable and painless. She made sure to ask questions about my previous waxing experiences to see what I did and didn’t like, so she could cater to my wants and needs. I also brought my 5 year old, who at times can be a fireball of energy, and she did great at interacting with him and keeping him occupied, while getting my wax done in a timely matter. She gave me great recommendations on different products for my skin in my Brazilian area, to which I ended up purchasing their sugar scrub and roll on oil. Sugar scrub smells AMAZING and the roll on oil made my skin very soft and smooth. Ended up signing up for a membership due to this amazing first experience. Thanks to all the girls at Radiant and shout out to Heaven!

But Kilee made me feel so good about everything. She would tell me how good I was doing and she would ask me how I was feeling throughout the whole experience and it just made me feel very comfortable and a lot more relaxed about everything.

I was able to get in with Alyssa very last minute- due to a cancelation, and was so grateful. This was my first time at radiant waxing. It was such a great experience. The facility seems clean and sanitary, the solution they use before waxing feels great, and for whatever reason the waxing did not hurt at all. Alyssa was so kind and wonderful- I highly recommend her. However if you’re not able to get into her- I’m sure you’ll have a great experience with any of the service providers.

While I did expect to be in ~pain~ for my first time, I was pleasantly surprised as the pain wasn’t nearly as bad as I anticipated. My very first Brazilian wax and way better than expected!! Angela was super friendly and made me feel really comfortable. Didn’t seem weird or awkward at all, super casual like I was just at a hair or nail appointment! The waxing didn’t hurt nearly as much as I thought it would and Angela let me know the instances where it might sting a little more. Ran me through the aftercare routine and sent me home with some product to put on it. She was ready for me the second I walked in the door and I was in and out in about 20 minutes. I had an appointment scheduled for today, 940 am, and got a text at 850 am saying Diana couldn’t make it but that we could reschedule with a different waxologist at 10 am. I love going here. Efficient but personal, and I’ve had great results. They also don’t bombard me with sales pitches at the end. They ask if you want to schedule another, and if you don’t, that’s it. No pushing, no product pedaling. They also know a lot about skin routines and will give you good antibiotic ointment samples to help with healing.

I would give it 6 stars if I could. Shannon did my first wax in about 6 years so I felt brand new. I was so nervous! She made it so easy, casual, professional and quick. Getting a Brazilian is never that comfortable but they make the absolute best out of it! Seriously I’d recommend this place to anyone. They are also mindful of pronouns and gender preferences which I loved! They are very informative and give you after care instructions without pushing “product” on you. I’ve hesitated going in for any beauty/spa type services any where this year as they're considered nonessential - however, I felt safe knowing this Lunchbox location is always bright and clean and their employees are respectful and professional but friendly. I've gone here for 4+ years and have had 90% good experiences! However i went in last week for my eyebrows... I asked for "just a clean up" as I normally do and it turned out so rough. My full brows are now tiny and one of them is arched high and shorter than the other. They don't match at all. Im going to try to buy some good product to draw them in until my brows are back 😭 I'm scared to return. Maybe I need to stick with one waxer I love and not just whoever they have available.

The second time was not so great. I was still nervous even though it was my second time and i tried having a friendly conversation with the girl helping me and she wouldn't say anything back. she made it super awkward and made me feel like she didn't want to help me, she wouldnt even look at my face when she would actually talk.. Maybe it was because it was my free one from the BOGO deal. anyways i wish i could remember her name but i don't think she told me. I love the gal who does my waxing. Always professional, enjoys a good conversation and knows when to soothe my just waxed tender areas (typically my ankle area and she gently covers it with her hand for a brief moment and it helps immensely! ) My one qualm though, is that this location needs to hire a cleaning crew to wipe down and thoroughly clean the walls and floors. Couldn’t help but notice how filthy they both were after having nothing to do but lay there in my expensive, self inflicted pain. There were tiny splatters of stuff everywhere and all kinds of debris on the floor.

Let me start off by saying I NEVER write reviews. And when I first walked into Lunchbox I looked like every other person coming to their first appointment: deer in the headlights and scared sh*tless. My first wax(I got a full Brazilian) I met Kenzie(MacKenzie) who was and continues to be so friendly! Not only was she super warm and inviting but she was informative! She let me know proper aftercare and answered all my questions and concerns. She made the entire experience a breeze! (Especially considering a stranger is seeing you spread eagle for the first time.) It’s a 30 min appointment that feels like 10 minutes. She’s always very thorough, yes she’ll take out tweezers if that’s your style to get every last hair. She’s THAT thorough. She is very verbal with her walk through process the first time. So anything you aren’t comfortable with you’re able to let her know (ie: my skin was sensitive to the warm wax. She offered to turn down the temp). The wax happens so fast that the pain level is 2-3. I’m always able to continue a normal conversation with her during the process. I’ve booked 3 times since my first wax(and rebooked way more than she deserved due to my crazy schedule). Every time I go she is always checking in with me to make sure I am doing fine during my wax. I will always rebook and continue to recommend everyone to go get waxed. Every time I walk out of the Sugarhouse location I always wonder why I waited so long to go. I will 20000000/10 recommend Kenzie. Her service and personality are well worth a review. I kept going back and forth if I wanted to go through with it, but after reading the great reviews I decided to just do it! My waxer was Kirby and boy was she amazing!!! She was so sweet and talked me through the whole process. She helped me to breath through some of the pain and she made sure to talk to me to take my mind off of it! It was a lot less painful than I thought, it was quick, and it was not as embarrassing as I thought either. She is the best and I will continue to come back to her!

The entire office was clean, bright and just clinical enough to be comforting - given the subject matter.
