I have been visiting this establishment both when it was Lunchbox Wax and now as Radiant Waxing. In particular, I've been seeing Abigail for well over a year, but every staff member has been exceptional! I can be overly shy and nervous, especially when waxing sensitive areas, but every single one of them has made me feel at ease and comfortable. The building is always immaculate! So clean, and feels bright and open. I gladly make the 30-45 min drive to visit Radiant Wax with no complaint. It'll be hard when I move away. I'll never find another experience like this one!

Hands down the best leg wax I’ve ever had! I’ve been to several waxing places in Portland and they were all somewhat disappointing. But I hate shaving so I decided to give Radiant a try. Allegra was my waxer and she was superb! She was quick, thorough, and professional, plus their wax is top notch. I didn’t even have one stray to pluck when I got home! I will be a repeat customer for sure and recommend Allegra to anyone looking for a quality waxer.

I go here without picking the staff because I have not encountered a negative service from any of the staff. Finding a place for a consistent wax can be tricky in Portland but Lunch Box has always been reliable and so easy to book with. The ladies really help to put your mind at ease and are always personable yet professional. Getting waxed isn’t what I would call “fun” but they make it as quick and easy as possible. I was a bit nervous before getting my first brazilian but it was super quick, easy, and relatively painless! If you have social anxiety like I do, you don't need to worry and can even book appointments online to avoid phone calls. Couldn't recommend enough!!!

I got my eyebrows waxed from Liberty and oh my god! I will never let anyone near my brows again after getting them done from her. I have naturally very thick eyebrows and I'm picky about how they're done. Liberty was super communicative about what I wanted before she started and that was really reassuring to me. She was extremely detail oriented and went back in with tweezers after to make sure every single hair was perfectly in place. I couldn't believe it. Seriously, the best eyebrow wax I've ever gotten.

Very clean facility, I was able to walk in and get waxed ASAP which I’m not used to! Only one star off because I was left to wait with pants down on the bed for too long, and the speed of waxing could have been faster. For an appointment you have monthly, you want in and out with no funny business! Otherwise it was an enjoyable experience (as much as waxing can be).

It was really cool. I loved the space that they had; everything was clean and aesthetically pleasing (I love the restroom mirror back lights). It was just a really comfortable place to be in. I got a Brazilian from Kiana and she’s wonderful. Super chill, incredibly efficient, and really easy to talk with. She warned me about the tougher spots, and was consistent in her reassurance - which helped a lot. Since this was my first time, i got to learn about my pain tolerance and it’s pretty high up there. I mean, the spots that were supposed to be tougher hurt like they were supposed to, but the pain didn’t last for more than a few seconds. One moment I was trying to calm myself down, the next, we were done. I cussed like three times, flailed and clasped my hands to calm down the rest, and it was a great experience. I’m happy with the results and I’m booked to go back in 5 weeks because I definitely feel like I could do it again :D DEFINITELY WORTH IT.

Followed all covid measures. I was greeted at the door and they took my temperature. Room was very clean. I was asked to wash my hands, take a covid assessment and of course wear a mask. I was getting an eyebrow wax. Abigail was the technician. She wore a mask and a face shield and sanitized her hands before she started. she was super friendly and did a great job. Would for sure go back!

Clean, friendly and great service. I was nervous because I have very sensitive skin and always end up with inflammation and a burning rash. I spoke with Mary and she eased my fears. She was the one who did my service when I walked in and she was fantastic. She was warm, thoughtful and went slow. I have been getting sugaring waxing instead of regular waxing for 4 years. I heard it was less painful than traditional wax... A friend tried this placed and raved about it, said it wasn't painful at all. I decided to make an appointment and give it a try. My waxologist was Amanda, and I explained it was my first time and told her how nervous I was. She was super nice and sweet, very accommodating and I felt totally comfortable... Let's just say that I was happily surprised, with everything. It was much less painful than sugaring, and the finished result was perfect. Just what I wanted. Go to Amanda, she's fantastic!

I love the service I get here with Erin! She is efficient, quick, and does an EXCELLENT job. The Unlimited package is a fantastic dealit's $49 a month for unlimited Brazilians. Now, I know you can't get a Brazilian done every week, but listen: I used to wait as long as I possibly could, and go every four or five or even six weeks, paying $60+ each time at other salons. Less often means saving money, right? But with this, I can go every three weeks on the dot, and that means that on certain months I can fit in two appointments. So that's two Brazilians for $49 plus tip. It's a win-win. Bonus points also for ridiculously easy online scheduling. Go see Erin!

One of the most comfortable Settings I have ever been in. Tiggz was amazing. Hands down needs a raise or special recognition. The only thing that made me not want to ever come back was while I was paying, another worker went in the room we were just in to clean, and she made a comment, grabbed someone else to look and laughed and that made me feel so uncomfortable if I wanted to crawl under a bridge. Other then that ending it was such a great experience only cause of tiggz and the fact I was able to book a same day appt.

This was my first Bralizian Wax. Veronica answered the telephone. She was very kind, answered all of my inquisitive questions about waxing, and helped me to overcome some of my fears about waxing. My appointment was made on same day of the call I was scheduled to meet with Erin. One hour later walking into the Lunchbox I was greeted by there warm, friendly receptionist. She introduced me to my Waxologis, Erin. She gave me a tour while explaining procedures. She then led me into the room where my waxing was to take place. Erin and I had laughable conversations which really relaxed me. She then explained breathing technique and the type of wax she would be using. I was relaxed and all of my fears went away Contrary to reviews I had read on waxing that stated "painful" I am happy to say I did not have any pain. Three times I felt a little pinch which was similar to tweezing ones eyebrows. The waxing took 25 minutes, cost $65 and because it was my 1st wax, mynext one is free!! With summer coming and you want a good wax call the Lunchbox Wax. Its okay to say LaVerne referred you.

It was a good experience but not the best I’ve had. The space is super cute and sanitary, but I wasn’t the biggest fan of the execution of the wax itself. When I looked in the mirror later I had lotion on my face that wasn’t all the way rubbed in, and also several sticky patches of wax that weren’t fully removed. Great staff and clean facilities! They just started a membership program where you pay a monthly fee (which is discounted) and get unlimited waxes during that month. I’ve worked with two different estheticians and both were so kind and friendly and able to be flexible in scheduling an appointment. They have provided me with two of the most gentle and painless wax experiences I have ever had—I barely felt a thing even during the tweezing process. I also really appreciate that they actually pause and go through a consultation before jumping into the wax. Im particular about my brows and have had some less than ideal waxes in the past. While other places offer a consultation, I find that the esthetician is only half listening and rushes me through my explanation, but the women of Lunchbox Wax have not done that to me at all and I’m very appreciative. I’m very happy to schedule with them on a regular basis going forward. Oh, and I just got their wax essentials kit and I’m already obsessed with the ingrown hair tonic. That stuff is magic!
