When I first met Karlee, she was friendly and personable. I keep scheduling with her because she is great a providing a professional service by going above and beyond and waxing a little extra where needed. She also helps me feel at ease even while in pain by talking about our favorite shows or what's currently going on in life. Also, the Mid-Town location has a welcoming atmosphere and kind front desk staff.

They are on-time, clean and very quick in waxing specially when it comes to intimate areas. The quick and easy job makes it worth while. Almost everyone is friendly except some cerologists who just want to do their job and don’t pay much attention in making you comfortable otherwise.

The atmosphere of the business when I walk in is always pleasant and the front desk personnel kindly greet me! The exfoliating products for after-care smell de-LISH! I have been going to Crysta to carefully craft my eyebrows for some time, but I recently saw her for my first-ever leg wax. She was very efficient and effective with the wax (no stray hairs! fast!), and I appreciated that she talked me through what to expect/what she was doing throughout the whole experience. I always feel extremely comfortable asking her questions, which was really nice for my first experience with this particular type of wax. I also appreciate that she wears a mask for her clients' protection. On a side note, I really appreciate the online booking system Wax the City uses. I highly recommend going to Crysta for any of your waxing needs!

They were very professional and told me what they were doing every step of the way, checked in several times to make sure I was still doing ok, and made the experience fun. After years of “hit and miss” shaving and the irritation, I finally committed to having a “Manzilian” done. I checked all the reviews for the area and everyone came back to the same establishment. From my first telephone call to make an appointment, I knew the reviews were accurate. Everyone went out of their way to make this as comfortable as possible. Chelsea, is an absolute, consummate professional, in every sense of the word. From explaining the process, to answering my many questions and going into detail how the proper after care would extend the results of treatment. She was, and will be my choice for future visits. Guys, the results were almost immediate! After less than one day of slight discomfort, which was diminished by following the after care instructions, the level of comfort for this procedure is indescribable. Hygienically, I feel cleaner, fresher and no more razor burn, stubble and irritation. My only regret…. I didn’t do it sooner!

I go to Tanya for my monthly eye brow shaping. I have never been so happy with the way they look. Tanya is always early to greet myself, fun to chat with during the appointment and checks in with a mirror to show me my eye brows to make sure I am happy with them before the appointment is over. It is something I look forward to every month and afterwards I have a bit more of a pep in my step. I would highly recommend Waxing the City and especially Tanya!

The Midtown location is honestly the absolute best. Wonderful from start to finish. I've quickly become a return customer for not just service but also for the retail products that they carry. Their front desk staff is very knowledgeable, friendly, and present for whatever questions I have regarding the whole process and after care of my skin as well as letting me know of their specials, memberships, and new products. I've consistently had Ashlei for all of my services from brows to nose to legs. She is very professional, great company during the service (Especially since I'm very new to getting waxed), and she is extremely practiced. Making sure it is as comfortable and quick without cutting any corners. She's always helped not just with what I came for, but also tailoring the style or look of my waxes through her expertise. And the management, Anne, is a consummate professional. She's always made sure I've been taken care of by her staff, she is incredibly present every time I've been there and has a wealth of knowledge for skin and personal care that I rely on greatly as a returning regular. 15/10 I will always sing this locations praises.

Listen- this is the only place you want to go for a wax. Whether it’s your first or hundredth time, for eyebrows or full Brazilian, this is the place you want to go. Waxing is their bread and butter and all the aestheticians go through extensive training and know what they’re doing. I’ve been going here for 18 months+ and have never had a bad experience even with different waxers. Their wax is a specialty hard wax (think like European wax center on the east coast) that is non irritating and doesn’t pull the skin. I’m very picky and want to be comfortable and in good hands and this place never disappoints. My tips for a first timer: wear loose fitting comfortable clothes, take ibuprofen 30 min before your appt, & drink a lot of water. The best waxer here is Chelsea. I’ve gotten waxes all over and she’s hands down the fastest and most painless wax I’ve ever had. Book here- you get 50% off your first service and their club orange program is a good way to save $$ too.

I was SO lucky to find Tanya when I moved to Omaha in summer 2021. That darn panini in 2020 had me getting a little pluck happy, and my right eyebrow definitely paid the price. On top of being a bright and bubbly soul, Tanya takes the time to walk through exactly what we're doing each appointment. This part was especially appreciated at the beginning of the regrowth process. The saying goes that eyebrows are typically sisters, not twins; but thanks to Tanya's expertise, they've never looked more related. :)

Midtown location is absolutely amazing! I used to go to another waxing center and when I moved to Omaha they did not have it here. I found waxing the city and love it.
