This was my time visiting the salon I was super nervous to get waxed after a couple months! But Sam was super nice and informative about the service and products. Throughout the service she made sure I was doing okay which made me feel comfortable. In general she was awesome very polite and talkative I honestly did not feel a thing she has magic hands!! What an amazing experience. From a warm welcome during my check-in, to a comfortable waiting room topped with a delightful mimosa. The environment was so nice only topped by my service. CC walked me through what to expect, was thorough and friendly. While the whole thing was quick, it felt like truly a little spa experience in the middle of my day. I would highly recommend.

Samirah is excellent at creating a calm environment for hair removal! She is easy to talk to, quick and efficient and works hard to minimize the discomfort. Samirah listens to my concerns and preferences for Brazilian waxing; the session feels like a team effort to give me the aesthetic I prefer and she is super detailed - she even goes in with tweezers for whatever stubborn hairs are left behind after each strip! The appointments are convenient for my busy schedule and the soothing mask option helps my sensitive skin. I do not get ingrown hairs, rashes, or weird growth patterns in between appointments, so the following session is even easier! I'm thankful for Samirah at Wax & Lash Berkeley!

Even though it wasn’t my first time waxing I was super nervous since it was my first time at this location . I arrived early and was waiting in my car super anxious and I just decided to get down . As soon as I walked in I was greeted very politely and was told I was more than welcome to hang out until my esthetician arrived . I sat down and my anxiety calmed down drastically, it felt so welcoming , so comfy , like if I was at home . My esthetician CC called me back to the room and the room was so nice and calming . CC was very comforting and made me feel very welcomed and very calm . I usually feel super rushed and awkward when I get waxed elsewhere , but here it was so different, It felt so much like a Spa . I highly recommend WAX & LASHES and Recommend CC 100% , She was absolutely amazing ! I will be returning !

Closest to pain free a Brazilian can get. Always professional and consistent job (no missed spots, no ingrown hair.) Sam is best tech I’ve ever had … I’m closer to Colfax but drive to Berkeley specifically for her. Everything is always immaculate and everyone friendly. I've been coming to different Wax & Lash locations for about 5 years. I won't go anywhere else. I started out at the Larimer location then started driving 20+ minutes to the City Park location when Larimer closed. I've always loved all my estheticians over the years but Kaity (new Berkeley location) takes the cake. She's so sweet, personable and her work is IMPECCABLE. She had great skincare recommendations and even better conversation. I love the new Wax and Lash products, that you can pick which scent wax you want and that the hot towel comes automatically with services. I'm a lifer! The complimentary mimosa/wine/chocolate is the cherry on top. Thank you W&L and Kaity! :)
