First time at this studio was a great experience! I had Agne who I cannot recommend enough. I was early and she took me back early, she was personable, professional, and knowledgeable. She took her time and I had very little pain. (To be expected with a Brazilian). I would absolutely recommend to anyone looking to get a wax!

This place is wonderful. They ladies who work there are so nice. I found it via google search and the positive reviews led me to take a chance - they’re all true! I scheduled two services easily via their website. When I arrived, they were prompt even though they were short staffed. They also very kindly were able to work in a third service for me that I had not scheduled. I felt the location was very clean and hygienic (which is so important for waxing!). Agne truly cared about getting every single hair for me, and made sure I was happy before moving to the next service. Agne was easy to chat with while she was waxing me. She used a fresh stick for every dip into the wax and there was no double pulling. Really a great experience. Pricing was reasonable (especially for Boston!), and the location is sooo convenient to the T. You can tip via cash or Venmo too, which is super convenient. I 100% will be utilizing their services again and recommending them to all my friends.

Best wax I’ve had in my life. Go to Agne or Kylie, they are so precise and get every single hair. The secret is they use baby powder and I’ll never be going back to wax on bare skin again!

Kylee is the BEST! Her room is always super clean and we have good conversations. When I first started seeing her I barely had eyebrows because I over-plucked them. Now my eyebrows are full and nicely shaped. I love it and won't let anyone else (including myself!) touch my eyebrows.

Agne is amazing! I have been going to her regularly, and I never leave disappointed. My eyebrows grow in unevenly, and she spends the time needed to get them even. Make sure you make an appointment because she seems to fill up fast!

This place is amazing! I’ve been going to Elizabeth Grady for as long as I can remember- at least 6 or 7 years. For years I’ve sworn by them and wouldn’t dream of going elsewhere until a month ago, I had a bad experience where the esthetician blamed a scar I don’t have for her sloppiness and overplucking and left me with a big chunk missing on my brows. After that, I started looking for a new place. I’m always hesitant to try a new place, but I am so glad I came here! I saw Megan get a few shout outs in previous reviews so I decided to give it a try! Megan was great...I could hardly feel the wax( I’m super sensitive !). She was extremely knowledgeable and even offered her recommendations. I was super impressed and I will definitely will be coming back.

Visited this waxing studio for the first time the other day and had a great experience. The staff welcomed me and gave me a run down of all the services. I think the place is super clean and the staff is really nice. What I liked most was the convenient location to the train and the time they took to do my services. I did not feel rushed and will certainly be back soon!

Waxing the City is the best place to go for waxing. Kylee did a great job and helped me to feel more relaxed. Waxing is such a personal experience and the staff there is well trained, professional and makes you feel comfortable. I've been getting my back waxed for years and usually go to another waxing chain in Boston but decided to check out waxing the city. This place was really cool. Nice music, people are cool, clean, and they don't rush you out the door. Parking can be tricky if you drive but I've had luck on Canal st every time I go. Or you can take the train since they are right at North Station. All in all this is the best place I've been to and will keep coming back.

I am so glad I found these folks. They do excellent work and a gender neutral. They don't rush like European Wax and use different waxes depending on area. They also do manzillians. Since the corporate office doesnt offer packages, the owner of this store offered a 25% discount for repeat services.
