I have been a client at Smooth Wax Bar for over 4 years and there is no place like it. When you enter the staff greets you by name. Diane is skilled, knowledgeable, and cares for her clients! The conversation is great and she performs services quickly. There have been only been two occasions (due to scheduling conflicts) that I went elsewhere. Let's just say I regretted it. Smooth Wax Bar is a clean, calming, and beautiful space. This is the one self-care or personal maintenance service I will always do consistently. If you're nervous to explore waxing don't be you're in gentle, welcoming hands.

Nikki is great! I've been getting Brazilian waxes for a while and I'm a lil jumpy but Nikki has great conversation and was able to keep me distracted even though it didn't even hurt. I don't know what type of wax they use but it's absolutely wonderful!!!!

This was the first place I went for waxing services and I absolutely loved it! I went pretty regularly but decided to try another business closer to home. My expectations were high given my experience at Smooth Wax Bar and I was disappointed. I tried another place in between work and home and was again disappointed. Smooth Wax Bar is honestly worth going way out of my way for. The business is kept clean and is so pretty with a welcoming vibe. All of the staff are so kind and inviting and personable. There isn't a better place to get waxed!

Great place. The staff are fantastic. Had Brazilian with Diane and she was excellent! I expected it to be painful since I haven't waxed for 8 weeks,but Diane made it easy and I barely felt any pain. I enjoyed the conversation too . Definitely recommend them.

They were able to accommodate a last minute scheduling and I was pleasantly surprised by the cute shop I walked into with the warm welcome that followed! Valerie was excellent - she kept me distracted during my waxing with great conversation and we were finished in no time. I called for a next day, last minute appointment and they were so accommodating and were able to book schedule me with Nikki! I arrived about 10 mins before my appointment, filled out some paperwork work and was seen right away! The salon is cute, clean and very welcoming! Nikki was so nice and we were chatting the whole time like we’ve been doing this for years! I immediately booked my next appointment. I’ll be going back to Smooth Bar and telling my friends about it!

My experience overall was amazing! The location is very clean, the staff is very friendly, everything is set up so clean and fancy. Sara took great care of me. It was my first time getting a Brazilian, she was so funny and very attentive, she walked me through the process and explained everything to detail. It didn’t hurt as much as I thought it would and it took less than 30 minutes. Of course it’s not pain free but at the end it’s totally worth it! and yes, for me it’s worth the price, this place is amazing, definitely coming back! Gracias chicas!

I got my eyebrows done for the first time ever with Diane. She was incredibly sweet and it was clear that she really knows what she's doing. My eyebrows look amazing so I definitely plan to go back. A friend of mine usually goes to Val and has had positive experiences with her so it's impossible to go wrong here. I didn't catch the receptionist's name but she was very polite and offered water to everyone who entered the waiting room while I was there.

I have been coming here for a little over a year. I love it here! The front desk lady (cant remember her name is sweet and always smiling). Diane is my waxer of choice. Shes amazing! Shes patient, makes you feel comfortable, and does a great, thorough job. Ive been to other big name waxing centers and the service was subpar, but here, you will definitely get the service you pay for. I love the online scheduling. Its super convenient to schedule or cancel appointments that way.

I have been to other waxers since my first visit with her, one because she was closer to my house than Val, and another because I bought a Groupon on a whim, and Im always disappointed. She sets a very high bar that always brings me back because no one compares!

This is a wonderful business specializing in waxes and that's all they do. The owner, Valerie, is absolutely phenomenal and really makes a point to get to know her clients. Diane was amazing. First time doing a wax and I felt unbelievably comfortable outside of being naked. She kept conversation going. For my first time and reading how painful this was going to be, I guess Diane has the magic touch because this was easy espevially for someone with a low threshold for pain. Beautiful and clean. Easy parking right on the street. Everyone wore masks and hand sanitizer was everywhere! Contact less payment was preferred. My samsung pay wouldn't work so I was allowed to use my physical card also.

You gotta love a place that has Frida Kahlo art and live plants. I consider these to be subtle signs of someone who is attentive. Valerie is personable and very attentive. She uses linen (see pic) instead of muslin and trendy waxing products. The wax bar is in a hip location of town. Do not expect to pull up to a parking lot at the bar (street parking). Also, slow down because it's not easy to see from the street. I would recommend this spot to a friend.

All I can say is Val is amazing. I've had brazilians done by others, but she's one of the best. She's so sweet and distracting during the process and she's quick as hell while still being super thorough. While it's not 100% painless (no way getting around that and it helps to load up on ibuprofen, tylenol, and aleve before my appointments), it's as good as it gets here. And on top of that, her pricing is very reasonable, and you even get points every appointment to add up to cash back over time. Would definitely recommend!!
