Reviews of Saxon Woods Golf Course
Eduardo MaceThis public Golf Course is very well kept and has beautiful scenery all around. Carts pathways are easy and the 18 holes have varying levels of difficulty. The clubhouse has a very good restaurant and the parking is a good size. Be aware that many players are beginners here, so expect some delays while at the course.
Vin BSaxon Woods is a wonderful Westchester Public golf course and restaurant. The fairways and greens are in great shape. The course is difficult enough for very good players but also lenient for newer players. A fun and scenic course, with great prices on discounted websites like GolfNow and TeeOff. The restaurant offers typical pub dining in a nice outside environment.

Bruce D.Nice golf course, especially for a public course. Rolling hills with plenty of mature trees that challenge your skills. Greens are well kept in general, and mildly sloped. Couple of water hazards too, including streams that break up some fairways. Worth a visit; I'll be back.
Steven WaltersCourse was great. Enjoyed the day. Don't leave a tip for the guy who runs the cart return. Not a nice person. You should leave a tip for the kids who work there but I would give it directly to them and not put it in the tip box as the nasty guy may get some of it.

Vince LimThis is a great public course. They have done a great job in grooming and keeping the course clean.
The staff in the restaurant and the pro shop are really friendly and helpful. Some great humans. But the staff where you drop off the carts can be a bit grumpy and rude. They seem to also police the driving range which this gives a false sense of “power” that is getting to their heads. I appreciate this is very challenging to manage when people don’t respect the buzzer. Safety is extremely important. So I understand the sense of urgency. There are much more effective ways in handling this instead of yelling and berating at paying customers.
I do think they need to learn on how to talk, treat and respect anyone who is visiting the course. Maybe even some customers service etiquette. It’s nice to be nice.
