Reviews of Closter Golf Center
Alex Newell
The Nice man let us play after coming 20 minutes before they closed. We sped it up and I finished with an immaculate back nine because I’m a back nine bully. However, course definitely needs work. Wouldn’t kill them to up the price by a couple bucks for
Maintenance. Overall 5.7/10 . The tour might be back.
Diana Valson
Looks like a hopping place for golf driving. However, mini golf is very old. Not much fun as they are all just greens. No fun buildings or anything. Serves a purpose of putting. However, pools of water very scary looking. I would not let my kid get her ball that fell into the puddle by the water. Made her go get a new ball. Definitely could use a mini golf facelift. Price is decent.
Brandon Hong
Easy to use the facility and got so much cheaper number of the balls reduced yet for actual outdoor practice especially when you practice with your daughter is priceless lol
Having good time with family
Abel Canales
Nice place to relax and for beginners to practice,
also a fun place to bring young kids.
Prices are fair too
Mike Reid
Nice driving range and reasonable prices
Joshua Lee
Big range. Never a wait for a spot. Area to hit off grass is a big plus! Cafe is good too
Lance Gliser
We played put put. The course is no frills, old, and needs maintenance. Still it's a nice spot outside.
Alexander Goers
I like the atmosphere here a lot. It is simply golf focused, no talk, no entertainment: practice golf shots is all that's offered. However they need to invest more into the bays. I feel many mats are worn, several heaters are not working in the winter and tees are rare to find. Also the facility itself could use a good cleaning. Overall it is not bad but the operations team needs to step up to make this a 4/5 stars experience.
Ben Chung
Great facility with expansive pro shop, Cafe, and a ton of booths up and down stairs. Just wish they had adjustable tees on the mats. 250 year range with some pins and targets on the range.
Tanya Panchoo
Love this place! Hassle free, very nice mini golf course for kids, a lot of driving ranges, nice cafe, great coffee! Had my son's birthday party and the man was super sweet and you pretty much do whatever you want! Nice 2 picnic tables under a tent that we used for our party and brought our stuff. Very nice family place! I always take my kids there.
James Bradley
Amazing value, especially if coming from NYC. Newly opened cafe has great smoothies, coffees and bites. Stalls are clean and mats are well maintained. Have not mini-golfed, but is always crowded so I suppose that means it's good.
Kyle Vandermark
Nice driving range. Getting a ticket for golf balls is quick and easy. Just tell the cashier what size bucket you want, they will give you a ticket with a number on it. Grab a basket and put it under one of the dispensers, punch in your number, followed by #, and the dispenser spits out the correct amount of balls. The facility is in nice condition. There's a little cafe and pro shop if you wanna buy golf gear, grab a drink or snack, etc. A little plus when you buy a bucket of golf balls, the ticket is good for 24 hours after time of purchase. So if you notice there are no open bays and you don't want to wait, you can come back later in the day or even the next day. Mini golf isn't great, so treat this review as just the driving range.
Jungsu Kim
Not too crowded, good place to practice.
Sam Ishak
The staff was very friendly and accommodating and the 120 bays meant no wait for us at 11:00am on a Saturday morning. The facilities are aged and the clubs they give you aren't in great condition so if you're coming to play and hang out with friends don't expect too much but if you're coming for a practice with your own clubs you should be fine.
Matthew Choman
Decent driving range. Ample parking. The staff aren't exactly friendly but why would you care about making friends at a driving range. Prices are fair. If you go before 12 it's BOGO buckets which is very nice. Place is always open too, year round and until 10 most nights. There is a rudimentary mini golf course too but there are better options if you're trying go entertain children.
Alan Brown
Played miniature golf with our grandsons, then hit some balls on the driving range. We all had fun and will be back for more.
Keaton Davis
Great spot to hit balls. Had every other hitting station zoned off so it felt pretty safe. Loved the portion of grassy turf on the mat as well as the normal hard area; a nice subtlety most ranges in the area don’t have.
Micter Studios
The place is terrible, but the prices are great and there are a lot of range booths. For mini golf, it’s maybe fun for the first time or two but it’s really not great. They have a pro shop and cafe but the only reason you should be going is to hit some balls or bring your kids to mini golf. It compares to Old Tappan, and I gotta say the mini golf is better but things can definitely be improved.
Justin Torrento
This driving range is great to have nearby, and has a ton of stalls available on two levels. At this time (September 2020, COVID time), only every other stall is available, so that means it can be filled up at busy times. My son and I usually get two medium buckets for $10 each. There is a cafe and a pro shop.
Ki M
It's cheap and they offer by ball counts, not per hour basis. They just opened up small cafe inside the driving range and their food is surprisingly really really good (mostly Korean food).
Ki Ever
Very good Golf Range. Lots of space and surrounded by nature
Sheri Miller
Hard to find tees. We wanted to go upstairs, all the way down and had to grab tees from stalls in the center. I get not everyone wants to hit off of one, but maybe every stall should have them. Needs some updating.
David “David Singh MD” Singh
I belong to a club in the area and still frequent Closter. Best value for your money. Very open feel. Yardage markers are not accurate unless you are in the middle....so use your range finder to help dial in those wedges. New practice balls have been added but there is still a lot of beat up balls. There is not much of a short game area....sand trap could use some improvement. Putting surface is good but artificial turf..so faster than most public course. In any case, a great place to work on your game.
Joseph Chu
Cool place. Pre Covid, it was neet to be able to get there at 9pm and work on my game till 10:30. Very Tin Cup like. Reasonable prices. Has nice little Korean mini restaurant. Lots of Koreans, which I think is cool, because Koreans are the most hardcore golfers in the world. They care more about golf than anyone, which gives this place a serious, golfy feel.
Humberto Merzeau
Excellent set up, great practice facility. Unfortunately Covid-19 keeps it from fulfilling its full expectations. Soon, real soon we can upgrade this to a five star review.
Ryan Gilbert
Had a fun time at the driving with my son. Covered tee boxes were nice. People weren't the friendliest though. Not from here stopped by when visiting family in the area.
mike cornell
A pretty nice driving range. plenty of space with the 2 large levels.
Seems to be in need of some paint and repairs, but still a decent place to hit a bucket of balls.
Steve Son
Nice multi-level golf range. They have a grass area on the right side, although the grass is more like rough and not manicured at all. This place is pretty much a Korean Golf Range, but being chinese myself, it does not bother me at all. Golf ball prices are decent, and the range is nice and big. The second floor of the range houses a Golf Academy with a great Golf Professional named Stephen. I took one lesson from him while I was there on vacation, and wow, he really knows his stuff. He diagnosed me right away, and made things simple. I believe he used to teach at GolfTEC and another course in California and used to be in the PGA program as well. I wish he was my local pro, as i would see him all the time. Overall great experience, will be back again!
David Jones
Good but needs top tracer
won uk Shin
Pretty old but good enough
Hardik Beladiya
Good place to spend some time
Bill King
No frills driving range.
Make sure you count your golf balls. Machine shorted me a handful from the listed quantity.
aquarius1924
Nice driving range w/ a mini golf too.
Jung Oh
The place is very old.. Wish the owner spend some money for the place better.. However it's still a nice place for practicing.
Brian Lew
Clean. More than average. If shottracer is installed, then it will be perfect.
Joseph Goss
Rolling mini golf greens. A few holes had water in them, so watch out for wet golf balls. The course greens were showing much wear and tear.
Gerard Pisano
Great practice facility and helpful staff. I take lessons with a resident instructor, Brian Stambaugh, he is a great teacher.
Christian Collignon
Great driving range, they even have fans, heat lamps, and insulators for the summer and winter
Rich Donovan
Fine to go whack a bucket of balls. Could use some upgrades and for ownership to put some money into the facility.
Young Jo
Decent mini golf. $7 for adults, $6 for kids under 10.
Niko Gershon
Two for one. Great offer.
Timothy Chen
Great setup, friendly staff. Could use some updates tho.
Charlie Wang
This is the only golf ranch locally with fair price based on old enough facilities.
scott yarmula
Cool place to slap around some balls. Prices seem ok. Guy selling the balls could be nicer
Jeff Einhorn
Great local driving range. Miniature golf too, though course is ready for an update.
John Eide

Okay place.
Turn Three
Private, heated booths are perfect for working on your game - especially in the off-season.
John Kim
It is located in Crosser, and although it is not the latest facility, it is accessible and you can enjoy golf practice in harmony with nature. If you go before 10 on the weekend, you can hit 200 for 14$, so you can use it cheaply.
John Park
Very good for a golf driving range.
Keith Lee
This is a golf driving range with a history. Location and parking are convenient for access.
However, there are many parts that need repair because it is old.
Kevin
It's good to practice, but there are many pits in the parking lot, so I feel bad after practicing happily.
young shon
If you go before 12 noon here, you get 200 balls for 12 dollars.
The balls are new and the mats are clean.
