This is a very nice course. The greens are well taken care of, the staff are pretty friendly ... My only gripe is the tee boxes. Sometimes finding a nice spot to tee from was challenging as they were just completely shredded. Otherwise, I'll be back!

Greens are in OK shape. Tee boxes are terrible! $75 to play! Nicer places around that are cheaper and in better shape. Friendly staff! Make sure you get a car with GPS. Half the carts do not have them! Course has been in better shape in years past!

Kate help me organize everything and explain all the options available to make this a memorable event, she was always available to answer any of my questions, very friendly and helpful. The drive into the facility would have you believe this was a private course. Very well manicured lawns on every house. The clubhouse and pro shop are very nice as well. However, that is where it begins to go downhill. I was greeted at my car with a staff member delivering me a golf cart. However, the carts are old, no USB charge ports, and no GPS. We played the Forest course, and the tee boxes looked like sand traps, a lot of the greens were under construction, the yardage markers were only painted discs below the surface of the grass in the fairway so unless you were standing within 10 feet of them you couldn't tell yardage. Just a very bad experience, and not worth the 30 minute drive to play. I had played here 5 years ago, and the course was excellent. Definitely gone downhill, and is now an average or below average course. Too bad, so many good opportunities to make this a "go-to" spot. Probably wont go back.

5 greens were unplayable. Many others we would have to move our ball to even have a shot. Seems like it would be a nice course, but for them to not even mention that their greens were in this shape (see pictures) before taking out money seems wild.

We played in a part which calls the Forest. it’s amazing golf course with a good grass. Every golf car hase navigator,range finder, and washing equipment for the clubs and balls. Here a lot of waters and bunkers and short holes which I like. A lot of animals walking around. We come back.

This used to be one of my favorite courses (last year). The Lakes was in very bad shape. Some of the greens were unplayable, yet we paid full price. Then play got extremely slow waiting on groups, and made the back nine unplayable. Don't think I'll come back for a while.

Nice course that winds through a neighborhood with a few million dollar plus homes. Greens just OK for Jan 23rd but maybe I'm not use to the grass that grows in FL. Nice older designed 1960's club house.

The Eagles Golf Club, which includes the forest and the lake course, is my favorite place to go in the Tampa Bay area. It has a good variety of play with water, woods and some great deviation. It's pretty well maintained throughout the year and generally easy to book and get on. It is, and my experience, the best value in the Tampa Bay area.

Nice challenging golf course. They have a beverage cart that allows golfers to purchase food and beverage while out on the course. The restaurant sells adult beverages and food to enjoy after your round of golf.

Please do not play if it has rained recently. I was out there yesterday in a swampy cow pasture trying to play golf. And the course did not disclose the horrid condition and they has us pay full price, which seems silly

Play there every week Their redoing some of the course but they're doing a great job of keeping it open One of the few courses that when you hit a nice wedge to the green it stays there doesn't bounce away

I tried today the Forrest. Great Course and lot of wild Animals! I saw an alligator. Good greens, Bunkers and nice Fairways. The only Bunker that was not in shape and maybe because of lots of rain was the12.th. I definitely come back again

Was here for an event that was hosted at this wonderful golf club. Staff was very helpful as well. Beautiful golf course with wildlife roaming around. Food that was served was tasty as well! Overall wonderful experience.

Both courses are in great shape. After I play a round I always stop in for a meal. They just started serving pizza and let me tee you it’s the best in the area hands down!!! The restaurant is always great but Cams Authentic New York Pizza (which is located in the clubhouse as well) is a great addition to their kitchen! I simply won’t order from a different pizza joint in this area again. Hats off to the eagles for always trying new things to keep their guests happy.

We played out here and after a rocky start (the starter allowed 8 people to play together), we got moved to the second course and it was pure bliss - albeit soggy and the course really doesn’t drain very well. Would come back. The carts have GPS.

Decent course. Lots of dog legs. A fair test. When its wet, you will lose balls in the fairway. Good food and drinks at the bar. Gotta play both courses.

I brought my father in law out to play a nice course while he was in town but we left a little disappointed. At the price we were charged for a round on the Forest course, it was not in the shape it should have been in. Most of the white tee boxes were mostly just sand. Many of the greens were in bad shape as well with ruts across them and patchy areas. Nothing was mentioned to us when we paid about the condition of the course. On a good note, the fairways were nice. When we finished our round, I spoke to someone in the pro shop about the experience we had and he told me “well, we have about 400 golfers through here everyday”. Most people don’t appreciate when their concerns are dismissed. Last time I came here, there was GPS on the carts but they weren’t this time. I do understand that sometimes courses aren’t in the best shape but when you pay a premium to play golf, you should be able to expect a premium course. There are many courses in the area that are less expensive and in better shape.

Played Lake course. Decent shape on greens. Fairways a bit rough with thin grass. From whites it was 6200 yards. Lots of water ( naturally). Slope 129 from whites. Par threes we're all pretty long. Nice electric carts. Good value

A very nice golf course, located in an excellent gated community. The golf course offers a nice clubhouse, with a small restaurant inside, offering standard dishes such as sandwiches, burgers and beer. The Eagles offers a nice driving range to warm-up at before a round, and a nice putting green to help dial in your speed. The range is quite small, and at peak hours, you may have to share a range spot with your playing partners. The Eagles offers 2 great golf courses to play on, the Forest and Lakes. I have been to this location many times, and will continue to return. I prefer the Lakes course, don't let the name fool you. It isn't scary, and the only island green between both courses is actually on the Forest course. Come try this location out.

Friendly and efficient check in..gps golf carts. Fairways well maintained and greens were carpet smooth and some holes were more challenging...the forest course...not great rental clubs...but we made the best of it... Good iron play and short game will keep the score down...

Played the Forest 18 today for the first time and it’s a challenge if u aren’t hitting the ball to your targets. Lots of water and doglegs. Back 9 was in much better shape than the front 9. Tee boxes definitely need some work and grass, and bunkers could use some more sand and some raking But, the Greens rolled real well and were in pretty good shape throughout. Having course knowledge is a huge plus and water comes in towards many fairways and greens and that’s where the knowledge is a huge plus. But , overall I really enjoyed the course and would definitely recommend the Forest course if You want a challenge. But it is playable , just keep it straight. I will be back now that I know the layout. Definitely recommend playing it if in there area. Great rates

Great course and very reasonably priced. Played the forest side and look forward to trying out lake side very soon. Friendly staff and nice carts equipped with gps. There are a few secluded type holes which are hard to come by in this area. If you play the blacks or blues on hole 15 your driver sound is significantly amplified, you’ll see what I mean. Just thought that was pretty cool. Few small alligators and some deer on the course. Fairways and green are top notch compared to other courses in the area in February.

This was home to the voodoo Golf Tournament last year and I was a volunteer during the event. Was so impressed with the facility , grounds, people, and staff. Restaurant was top quality beautiful wildlife portable bar just fabulous! I would highly recommend and also if you ever have a chance participate in voodoo chef annual golf tournament gives scholarship to local students and is a blast!!!

Great golf and dry. Florida is a little wet this time of year so dry well irrigated courses a must. Friendly, informative and polite best describes staff. Prices very reasonable even for summer. Price goes down with the heat.

The Eagles is an older set of courses that is ready for a little refresh. We played the Lakes course. A winding track with water and mature tree elements to keep you honest. The facility hosted a tournament that utilized all 36 holes and executed it better than most I've experienced. The courses were flooded after days of rain, so the conditions were not representative of their best or what I expect is their norm. All over a great playable course with big size tourney capabilities.

I truly like the layout of the course. Staff was very friendly. The challenge of the course was outstanding. However as a Florida resident I am not happy with the increases in cost. We keep golf courses functioning throughout the year therefore golf course owners and managers should grant us a discount vs. an increase in cost. Please continue to work on the tee boxes and greens. I truly saw an outstanding effort being made by your maintenance team thank you

Nicely maintained courses. Good prices. Some of the GPS carts don't work though. And the courses are both difficult. I only got my driver out a couple of times because most of the holes are 200 yard lay ups with thin fairways.

I haven’t played here in years cause it was in bad shape. Because of paradise golf letting us know that they have new management and they recommend giving it a shot, I did. The greens were in great shape and rolled true all day! Speed was probably 10/11. Needless to say I will be now putting them back in my courses to play. I played there about a month ago. Thanks as always to paradise golf!!!

We love playing both courses but especially love the Forest. Never have long wait times; most greens are in great shape (some have needed work lately but that’s expected given the dry weather); challenging holes on both course; and staff is always friendly.

Just moved to Florida recently. Very nice course for the dormant season. First timer, Lakes Course. The Staff..5 plus stars! Very professional! Maintenance crews respectful and mindful of upcoming players. Very nice, firm greens, fairways pretty good shape for the dormant season, tee boxes were just ok for the most part. Tried to get a deal on golf now..no luck but still worth the price. Cannot wait to return and play the Forest course and then again when things green up a bit more. I’ll be back and would definitely refer this venue to players looking to pay a little bit more for a course in better condition than most around here this time of year. I drove about 45 minutes to play here, Not disappointed. I would give a 4.5 but it is the dormant season and there’s always room for improvement...no fault of the staff though. So this place gets a 5! If you’re not sure or have questions before you play... ASK! See you soon! Thank You!

Love the Eagles. On our last golf outing there we took advantage of a special. Tee time was 1130ish and because of a golf tournament at 1pm there were no carts.....besides the ones lined up for the 1pm tournament players. We waited for over 30 minutes for a cart which battery died on the second 9. Logistics!!!!!!!!!

One of the better courses around the Tampa Bay & St. Pete areas. Unfortunately I played in light rain both times I've been here, but still thoroughly enjoyed the course despite everything being wet. Can't control mother nature!

Great course. Played the Lakeside course and the holes flow well. They recently did some fairway work so you can't take the carts off the path at the moment. Carts have gps so you know exactly how far you are and what hole you're on without having to use an app. Great price too. Look online to find deals.

My first visit to play The Eagles and chose to play the Lakes course. Especially for the price and season , it was very nice, in great condition and an excellent value overall. Management did a great job with spacing out players and didn't get held up once by golfers in front of us. In the end, no grief over a rain check either. Would definitely recommend to others. Looking forward to a return visit as well. .

Great course! I finally got to play both tracks yesterday (Aug 25, 2020), back to back. I talked to three gentlemen in the clubhouse who were very friendly and found a way to allow me to play both tracks without getting held up behind large groups. A fourth, grumpy guy in the clubhouse was rude to me (due to my mask-less face), but I guess that's the world we live in now. I'm not good at golf so I appreciated the mix of wide open holes with some more challenging holes with beautiful big trees making you think carefully about your drive. Thanks very much to the three great gents in the clubhouse! I highly recommend this golf course!

I was a last minute walk-on and was welcomed. Played the Forest course after a night of rain. Course was in great shape: tee boxes level & mown, greens smooth and fast, sand in the bunkers, hardly noticed any wet areas. They even provide water in bottles. Cart paths have been resurfaced and the carts are new with GPS. Could not have had a better experience. I will try to play here more often. Thanks for a great day.

Greens a bit slow but course in great shape for time of year. Challenging and rewards for well placed shots, jail for errand balls. Lots of wildlife and interesting use of natural hazards to keep every level of player involved. Renovations to clubhouse complete and offer a nice place to gather after a round. Worth the price for a round with the guys

Very nice course, greens in best shape I've seen them in last few years. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Great lay out for the Forest course. Lakes course also pretty nice, just prefer Forest due to its more secluded atmosphere, fairways lined with mother nature rather then houses.

The greens make this track a great value. Still a good layout and low rates available through GN. But, the fairway and tee box grasses are scarce and weeds seem to be encroaching throughout. Still, staff and the greens are worth the round. Very enjoyable with the right attitude. Challenging when play from the correct tees.

My Son and I played the Forest Course!!!! We had a great time. Course was in great shape, well maintained and the greens were perfect!!! We will definitely play this course again!!! We had lunch after our round and the food was excellent. Friendly staff and with great attitudes!!!!

We played The Lakes course 18 holes first & then tried The Forest course initial 9 holes and found both in great condition. The greens could be slightly faster in my opinion but were in very nice shape. A couple showed signs of some invasive grass that I'm sure will be taken care of.

Pros: The Forest and Lakes courses are well designed and maintained. Carts are clean. The older gentleman who works as starter is competent and friendly. Cons: Pro shop staff fail to follow safe virus control procedures (e.g., masks are worn incorrectly or not at all). Single cart riders pay an extra $19, more than most other courses, during the peak of the pandemic in Hillsborough County. Credit card users pay almost 4% extra. Rangers are not on the course to get slow groups to pick up the pace. Groups in excess of 4 players have been observed on Saturdays. In summary, the new course management has much room for improvement.

Had a great visit. Was very pleasantly surprised with the ongoing renovations. Building looks so much more inviting. Bathrooms are so much better. Eagerly awaiting the rest of the work to be finished. Even with all the work going on, the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Food was very reasonably priced and absolutely delicious. Can't wait for the new larger patio to be finished. The view from there is going to be awesome. Thank you for making our dining experience so great.

We played to Lakes 18. We did enjoy the track. the course condition was fair. I'd give the teess a 3.5. Grass length was all over the place. The fairways were about a 2.5. They were pretty patchy. The green were pretty good. I'd rate them a 4. They were really firm (impossible to get close to a front pin placements), but rolled well. Overall a 3.0. We are on vacation from PA, and have not played golf in Florida in many years, but I was expecting greener grassier conditions. Maybe it's just February golf in Florida?

Played the lakes course. Wonderful greeting when we arrived. Barely got out of the car and an attendant was pulling up with a golf cart for us. Who does that? No one. Also liked the cooler with ice and complimentary water bottles mounted on the golf cart. 5 star first class service. We did not like the practice range at all, you hit floating golf balls into a lake. On the course, we played in early April, the tees and greens were in great condition, but most of the fairways were hard packed with little to no grass, mostly weeds or dirt. So the course gets less than 4 stars. But we are going back to do the forest course! Go get that!

We were there for a charity tournament and we had a great time. We played on the Forest course and it is a beautiful course. Lots of trees and even wildlife. We saw some gators and turkeys. Another group saw some deer. The club golf carts have gps systems on them that know what hole you're on and how far to the green, etc. Very neat feature. Overall the course itself was a lot of fun. Some challenging holes for sure. Watch out for the water. I'd definitely recommend this course

Simply stunning golf course. Wish I could play here daily. Would have given 5 stars but the brakes on the cart screeched so bad I ended up just coming to a stop without breaking. It was pretty bad but first world problems right? All seriousness I recommend playing here in the early morning when the slight fog is still out. The scenery is stunning to say the least.

Had a great time - we played The Forest and the course was, generally, in good shape. We came across an entire green on a par 3 that was relocated to where a drop zone should be - the grass was the same too, just mowed very low so it was impossible to putt. Can safely say I've never seen that before. The greens were also being aerated at the time so I can't speak of much quality in that department. Other than that one odd par 3, the fairways were in great shape. Would love to play the course when the greens are not being aerated and that single par 3 in good playing condition. Difficult course, will be coming back soon.

Beautiful course! I was not there to play but I was there to support the Warrior Games. I was on the 6th hole (Par 3). It was difficult to judge the hole from the tee box but players were able to get close to the pin. I had a lot of fun supporting this event. Thanks for hosting!

We like to go to the club for dinner several times a month! The food is fresh and well prepared and reasonably priced! The staff are always welcoming and efficient! We're like the events at the club as well! And the always have a good selection of beer on tap!

It was my first time here and I was very impressed with their customer service! Everyone was very welcoming and helpful! Frank was our starter and he was fantastic, he even gave us a couple tips for the Lakes course. Nice fairways and greens! I will definitely be back!

Well it seems the greens must be getting better per the reviews. I live in the eagles but play silver dollar because the greens last year at eagles were horrific. And the greens at sliver dollar were absolutely awesome. So we will return to play next week to see if its true. Love the forest course layout. Another reason we left was I play with my wife and we only play 9 holes. The restrictions on 9 holes play stopped most of my golfing at eagles.

Played lakes course and have to say it was nothing that stands out. It's a good average course with fast greens that were in great shape. Fairways had lots of weeds in them. All in all its a nice course but has nothing to bring me back again. Employees were very nice.

Attended a celebration of life. Nice place, great service, good food but putting 200 people in the Florida sun at 3 pm without any shade covering wasn't a good idea

Excellent restaurant services. We've used their private rooms for events and they've handles everything with professional expertise. The food is always top notch. Seriously the food is better than most restaurants you'd spend twice as much. The place is definitely dated in appearance and needs a serious remodel. But even with the musty carpet and way too dark wood paneling in the restrooms this place still gets my business at least twice a month.

I went to a women's Jenner here the staff was outstanding they were just majorly outstanding however the group that I went with should not wear masks and I'm sitting here every day wondering if I'm going to get cold however the service was good the food was excellent but you got 1 tbsp of salad 1 tbsp of chicken 1 tbsp of a pasta dish in one tablespoon of a marinated meat and one breadstick that's all you got I was starving when we left for dessert you can have one piece of red velvet cake and hot cocoa or cheese and you were not supposed to go back to get extra so I was disappointed in the food I love the company of the people that I was with that's just my point of view I would rather have a buffet

Good Mother's Day Buffet. Very reasonably priced. Assortment of salads, slow-roasted turkey, carved roast beef, smoked salmon, a pound cake dessert station, omelet station and waffle and pancakes station. Along with an assortment of other desserts and pastries. A very good deal for the price.

I had played this course over 20 years ago with my father. It's an ordinary sort of course, with wide open spaces, and it's a traditional Florida layout. I can't complain about the layout and the course itself, but the greens were slow and it is not really any sort of special experience.

This place is fantastic. Had an issue with a slow/rude foursome in front of us and the pro shop moved us to the Lake course and had a word with them. Appreciated the customer service. Course was well maintained and played well.

Was the snobs hang out over there 90% of them anyway riding your golf carts around getting drunk as hell on Thursday Friday and Saturday nights at the clubhouse they're safe and they don't hurt anybody cuz they ride them Dam golf carts whatever. It seems to be getting old the course I don't know maybe maybe it's me but just seems like it's seen its better day out there I don't know if it's the landscaping or I don't know never seen Derek Jeter I see him around at like Cheval and Westchase.

Besides the other ignorant uneducated golfers about my disabled son trying to learn to play and simply telling me that he shouldn't be there because it's too dangerous for a kid like him and this being said on the practice green other than that it was a great place to pass the time

I like this place! It's a bit expensive, but it's very fun and has a lot of dog legs. The Forest is a bit tougher and tighter then the Lakes course but both are great!
