After reading the reviews I was a bit worried. I have to say, it was a nice course. Sure some greens were in the process of repair. The carts are way better than the two other courses I played in the area. A couple tee boxes needed mowed but overall it is a challenging course and a good pace of play. The bad reviews are wrong, plain and simple. I will play this course again. P.S. to the new owners, keep up the good work.

I had an 8:00am tee time. We were able to tee off on time with no wait. The course was in beautiful condition. The fairways were freshly cut. The greens were in immaculate shape. It was like putting on a carpet. I’m trying to get back out here before all the other golfers discover the great shape Lake Bernadette is in. The staff has always been friendly and pleasant.

Lake Bernadette has improved dramatically over the past few months with new ownership. This is one of the better layouts in the area and with the improved conditions is a fun and challenging course to play. The renovated clubhouse and new Club Car carts with club washers add to the improvements. The staff is very friendly as well and prices are very fair.

As background, I lived in the Lake Bernadette community for 15 years and played the links most weeks. Although the conditions were not always ideal, I always thought it was by far the best value in the region. Two years ago, I moved closer to Tampa but I tried to play the links at least monthly. In the last year the course has new owners and they made several changes I think have spoilt the layout, which includes filling in 20 bunkers. Once the new owners came in, the conditions of the course, especially the tee boxes and greens, continued to deteriorate month after month. Finally in August the conditions were so bad I decided to no longer play the links. Fast forward to November and I was wondering whether things had improved. After reading several positive reviews I decided to give the course another try and I was not disappointed. Tee boxes and greens (a little slow) were great. Pace of play was excellent and rates were very fair. Based on today’s experience, I will be back again.

Played first time this Wednesday. Fairly solid course for the price point. Greens n pads are in process of repair but didn't really effect our play much. Challenging lay out with lots of wild life around you. Carts were very nice with ball and club washers on each cart. We will def be back! Keep up the repairs and improve weekday mowing (2 unmowed tpads still at noon) and It will deserve a full 5 stars soon.

Just played this course yesterday. I hadn't played there for a couple of years and was very pleased with the improvements to the course and club house. The tee boxes, fairways and greens are in excellent condition. Great clubhouse too. I will be playing there more often.

Just played this course over the weekend. The greens have filled in nicely and though a little slow they are in beautiful shape. Course improvement can be scene almost everyday. Keep up the good work!!

What an improvement from 6 months ago. Greens and fairways have grass, and good grass! Played in 4:10, friendly staff. Only knock is they need a beverage cart.

This course is awesome. I’ll play it the next time I’m in Tampa also. More than a few cool holes where you need to think while on the tee. Great conditions. Fast greens. Certainly one of my favorites in the greater Tampa area. I loved it and will play it again for sure. The clubhouse sandwich in the clubhouse was wonderful for lunch. Delicious and very filling.

I played yesterday (12-8). Links is back in the rotation. The rating system wouldn’t allow me to do 4.5 but you can definitely see the results of the work they put in. The greens are back in shape. I should have taken more pictures of the current condition but it’s not what is was the past few months.

I usually play Lake Bernadette about 6 times a year, everything is usually great. But this time the course was in ruff shape, the greens and Tees weren't cut. The course was in bad shape just in general upkeep and repair. The proshop looked like it was empty for the most part and the staffed looked over worked because they were trying to do multiple peoples jobs at the same time which made service suffer

Overall this is a very good golf course. Some room for improvement on cart paths, however I can see where they fix wherever they're needed the most importantly. Nice clubhouse (19th hole) . I recommend this is added to your schedule!!

I always enjoy playing at LBB. I played recently with a group of friends and it didn't disappoint. They are in the process of upgrading the course and the clubhouse. I can't wait until it is complete. Keep up the good work.

Went golfing beginning of May. Course was very dry. The greens were yellow and almost like concrete. Finding a flat surface to stand on at the tee boxes was challenging too. But for $28 for 18 with a cart, it was enjoyable.

I visited there one time to attend a charity event. I have only one positive comment about my experience. The meal that was served was OUTSTANDING!! Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo along with a Caesar salad and garlic bread. (I do not know however if it was prepared by 'The Links' staff or if it had been catered.) The golf course itself was very attractive and appeared to be well-groomed. As I drove up to the development, the homes appeared somewhat dated. The townhouses just past the clubhouse were very dated. Upon arriving at the clubhouse I was totally shocked at the appearance outside. The small parking area of crumbling pavement as well as the run down building were not at all what one would expect at a golf course community. After entering the clubhouse, once again I was amazed at how dark and old it was. The ladies room was also 'par for the course'.

Pretty good course and very good for the price! Really wet but what isn't right now in this area? Fairways are pretty wide, which is good for hacks like me and most of the greens were in pretty good shape, albeit very slow with the wetness. I saw some people here complain about the houses but I felt safer hitting here than any other course I've played in FL. The course and houses are strategically laid out to minimize the danger of hitting a house. I would have given 5 stars if the back 9 was as nice as the front. Almost seemed like 2 different courses.

in the winter it is a wonderful experience but during the summer, they have some serious drainage issues and the course is extremely wet. I mean swampy wet. Would not recommend this course after heavy rain.

They have let the greens go again. It was looking really good last year, but the greens this year are slow and patchy. I have been playing this course for over 20 years. For the money it is ok.

Long drive to a nice golf course. Greens were a touch on the slower side wish they were quicker. Not a deal breaker. Layout is nice. Yes houses but really never in play. Nice long par 3s from back tees. I live in Tarpon. Well worth the drive. Btw they had a 3 for 4.95 slider of BBQ wasn't bad. Best Jack Daniels price at any golf course. They made money on the JD but didn't Rob you blind for the drink. I'll drive back again for sure.

Only course in Florida that I have played that has real grass on real dirt not sand. Challenging but quite playable for the average golfer. I frequently break 100. Kept in good shape.Still in good shape.

Really nice layout alittle on the long for the high. Handicap golfer but worth playing no beverage cart the girl at the desk was not very friendly she said we were early to go a put on for a while she put us with another twosome who plays there quite often they said we are going out there is nobody here nobody come in and do we played 18 holes never see a golfer insight the girl in the pro shop should find another job you never leave a tee box open if there is no one else around

Course is a goat ranch. Greens are awful. Weeds all over the fairways and tee boxes. The lady in the pro shop was very nice great customer service. The only positive thing about the place.

Nice course! We live here (on the 12th fairway). BTW, take exception that the people who live here don't like the golfers! We do, anyway! (Some could watch their language though!). Anyway, back to the course. Very nice mogul course; mature and well kept. I think they stack up the groups too much when the weather is nice. Gets a little crowded and slows down play. Otherwise, we love it and it is so reasonable!

Very nice golf course. It is like playing in a National Park, nature all around you, not like these places where they just cut down all the trees of a former citrus grove and added some bunkers. Andy and Gene, the owners, are great people. They make you feel very welcome at the 19th hole...

Price okay. Nice layout. tee boxes poor. fairways lovely. greens slow, unevenly cut, sparse in areas, busy in the AM. noon time good starting time for December. Won't play there again unless I can get reduced greens fees.

The Links of Burnadette golf course had some pros and cons during my recent round. On the positive side, the greens were in good shape with a fast roll, making it challenging to sink putts. However, the greenery itself wasn't very pretty, and I found myself not fully enjoying the scenery. The fairways were hard, which made for some interesting bounces, but there were also some wet spots that didn't make for the best playing conditions. I also found the fairways lacking in visual appeal, and it wasn't the most picturesque course I've played. Overall, the Links of Burnadette golf course is not the most stunning course out there, but it's definitely worth playing again. The challenging greens and unique fairway conditions made for an interesting round, and I appreciated the opportunity to try my skills on this course.
