Last weekend was my 1st time playing here and I will definitely be back again. The course staff was great and the beverage cart was available numerous times during our round. This is a decent course for higher handicappers but can also be a challenge from the back tees if you're good enough to accept the challenge. The layout is a lot more hilly than your typical Florida golf course which I really liked the most. The course could use a little better maintenance in some areas and the greens were just ok. Hopefully they can make them better but as long as the price doesn't skyrocket like everything else seems to be nowadays, I'll keep coming back to play.

I have played at this course twice now and have really enjoyed both times. The staff is very relaxed, even when really busy, and the course is beautiful. It isn’t too challenging of a course and offers wide fairways and well paced greens. The layout of the course is fun and provides a unique experience with each hole. I would recommend this course to anyone in the area looking for a nice afternoon of golf.

We have lived in the area for several years and this was the first time playing Diamond Hill. I really liked it a lot! It is a great layout and is in very good condition! There is water but it doesn’t come into play a lot. It is a more open course and forgiving which is great for a golfer like me. Wait till you see the par 3 hole 15! It has an elevated tee with water between the tee and green! Very cool hole for flat Florida. The golf carts are newer, modern, and in excellent condition. There is a driving range and practice green right next to the clubhouse. Enjoyed it so much we are going back again with our sons over Thanksgiving break.

Great course! Not too hard, not too easy. As a very rookie player I love that the course isn't overwhelming obstacle heavy course. Bar and pro shop staff is very friendly. Highly recommend!

This is without doubt a nice course. The gentleman at the pro shop and the starter were very friendly. I have played here for years and I have never seen the course in better shape. It’s far from perfect, but besides a few sandy greens and sand traps that have water in them, the course is on all around good shape. They also have a beverage card with a friendly attendant on the course now. The course is long and challenging, but tons of fun to play. It has two holes that you tee off over water and many sharp doglegs.

I love playing this course, it’s not the cheapest around but in my opinion with the staffing and the up Lee I think it is worth the price. I’ve been golfing here for about 3 years now off and on and still enjoy the layout of the holes here. Not overly challenging but isn’t a short easy course. Enjoyable!

A little busy & slow, but it was a holiday week (between Christmas & New Year's) so the pace was to be expected. Course layout is wonderful, and the trees have been trimmed back since the last time I played there ( long time ago). Fun course.

Had a great time. The greens were in good shape, they allowed a 6 person party to play golf ⛳ in front of us.6 people on a weekend, shame on them to let that happen. Other than that it was fun

Someone needs to regulate players. We are spending 15-20 min at every hole waiting. 4.5 hours into the round on hole 11. There’s a 6 some with 4 carts in front of us and they aren’t letting anyone through.

Nice layout. A couple of par 3's you need to carry. Greens in good shape ( a bit slow though) and small. Some doglegs are drivable depending on the tee's. Tee boxes need some love, but they were not bad. Will definitely play again.

Very nice course for the price. This is our go-to course that we enjoy playing the most with their long par 5 (should be par 6 lol) and the iconic par 3 from atop a hill hitting down to the green. Staff is always helpful and always a good time. We have played here dozens of times and always have a good experience (my golf scores could be better though! Lol)

The course has a beautiful layout, every hole is unique, but the course is like a goat pasture. The t-boxes are ragged as well as the fairways, I'm thinking the course is over played so it has no chance to recover. Even the girl making food seemed overworked, she had a little attitude. All in all I would return because of the layout, but I would only go if it's at a great rate. I think you should try the course at least once. One last thing we played with a regular to the course, he was pleasant.

Pretty nice greens. Employees seemed nice. My biggest complaint, they don’t have left handed clubs for rent. You’re a large club, you should have left handed clubs. The young man working the front desk, was great and refunded us the rental and gave us a medium bucket of balls so I could hit with the right handed clubs.

Had a great experience at Diamond Hill. Found the course in great shape with Very nice greens. played on a Friday and possibly in the middle of a tournament. Nevertheless, things went very smooth and our foursome had a great time. A little pricey, but a sign of the times. Would definitely come back.

My wife, aunt and I played Diamond Hill GC Feb 2, 2021. Pulling into the course at bag drop, we were pleasantly greeted by a gentlemen who unloaded our clubs for us and placed them on the carts. Club house employees were very professional and friendly. We had a wonderful time playing this course. It is tough, but yet fair. The downhill Par 3 (over water) was a delightful challenge. Fairways and Greens were in excellent shape. Greens rolled true and fast. Very Nice. We had the opportunity to meet the Owners. They were very nice and it was apparent they genuinely care about the customer experience. We highly recommend anyone in the area play this course you will not be disappointed. Thank you.

Been playing diamond Hill for 25 years I've never seen the greens in this good of shape. Kudos to whoever is the new green superintendent. A dramatic turnaround with the greens they are spectacular.

All three of my son's have now played for their High School golf team and Diamond Hill is their schools home course. It's also less than a mile from our house so my husband and boys have played golf there for nearly 15 years. The owners and staff are always friendly, helpful and cooperative. I appreciate the cooperative part since Ive dropped my middle son off there for the past 4 years and never had to worry about him being in an environment with all adults, playing golf in other people's foursomes or riding in golf carts with strangers. all of the older gentleman that work on the course seemed to know my son and always gave him a friendly hello when I dropped him off, this definitely gave me peace of mind! I can't really give you a golfer's perspective of the course because I'm not a golfer I'm just a spectator but I'm always able to get the prettiest pictures with the elevation changes.

Was able to pull up and play right away. If you make your reservations online you literally walk up grab keys to cart and fire away! The coarse was 4/5 far as condition. There were a few greens that were already burnt up. Greens are generally fast but not a lot of break. Fairways are okay but because the coarse isn’t very long I had to move my ball out of others divots on serval holes. Great coarse if you play a fade also. Have to mention that. All in all for the money. I will definitely play it again.

Really liked this course. In good shape, wide open, nice layout. Some of the greens could have been in better shape. BUT, there was a twosome ahead of us taking three shots of the tee and everyone was backed up...they need a ranger! But I will definitely go back because I really enjoyed this course.

Very interesting and challenging golf course. A steal at the prices they charge even in peak season. Nice to see some elevation change throughout the golf course, rare for a Florida course. Good conditioning, convenient location off of I4 and friendly staff have made this my new favorite place to play!!

The employees here really stood out to me in a positive way. Whether it was the people in the golf shop, behind the bar or the guys outside with the golf carts, all of them were terrific. Friendly and so welcoming. Because of so much recent rainfall, there were many places on the golf course that could not be played or mowed. I understand that and have respect for how aggressive they were keeping most of the golf course as playable as possible in these tough conditions. The holes to and from the clubhouse slope pretty significantly, while the rest of the layout plays mostly flat in the classic style of a Central Florida golf course. Nine is a big-time Par 5, #12 is a rare uphill Par 3 and #15 is one of the best Par 3's in the area if you play it from the blue tees and use the highest tee box. Looking back from the green to that tee shows a huge difference in elevation and the shot travels entirely over water. Dare I say it is a touch of Streamsong minus a tricked up green that one could four putt. Again, super nice people here and not too far off of I-4 either.

Great course. tough but fair play.. it rewards good shots and penalizes bad one's but, it allows you to recover and save par on a bad shot.. Greens are a bit hard in the winter, wedge shots will not bite or stick. Spring and summer the greens come alive!.. course layout is good and it has some nice scenic views. definitely worth playing here, even better on a Hot Deal!

Had a great time on Sunday until the rain unloaded on us. Course is very comparable to others in the area. Greens were very consistant and staff was very helpful. Chicken tenders were very good. Definitely will be going back.

We use to play our Bragger Vance tournament here when we first founded the group a few years back. I've always loved playing this track. With open fairways and it's rolling hills, this course has always been fun. Like a picnic, but on wheels. That par 3 off the cliff is awesome to play. Not to mention the 'Green Mile" 9th. Today I had the pleasure of playing a practice round because next week Diamond Hills will be hosting our tournament once again, but this time we will be 30 deep.

probably my favorite public course between tampa and lakeland. interesting layout, course in great shape. ive never had any pace issues. a little on the expensive side, but once again, i think that helps keep the place a little thinner so pace isnt an issue

It is like the name says, it is very hilly for Florida. Pretty unique course, most holes turn sharp left or right, not too many straight shots. Greens are well maintained, fairways could be better. A little on the pricy side.

New ownership has made many improvements and staff changes in the past 10 months. The greens are playing better than at any time in the past 8 years. There is still some work to be done, but overall the experience is much improved and worth the price. The mens association is also a great value and great group of guys - look into it if you live nearby.

The course has improved but the most remarkable change has been the greens...you won't need a croket mallet to putt with.... greens are 300% better....practice area and range better also.....burgers are good but a little pricey...burger,fries tea...9$

I've played here multiple times and have had great experiences . This past weekend, they were running way behind. We sat at every hole waiting for what looked like amateurs hitting three shots each. No ranger in site. What really upset me was that at the turn, I was so thirsty and there was no water at the clubhouse outside. At each hole that originally offered water, the bins had been emptied and taken. The bathrooms were locked. I won't be going back.

The staff here is very friendly, including the rangers, bar employee and front desk cashier. I would play here again, especially when the weather is cooler. The bathroom was clean and the food was good. The food prices were also lower than what I expected.
