Corporate Golf League #CGL

This is a great short course so it’s not a par 72 a think par is 61 which means there’s no power fives it’s 11 par threes, and seven par fours. They just renovated the clubhouse and the course is in great shape. My personal best at this course is 11 under par and they played in a scramble and we were 16 under par. There are skins games on Tuesday mornings at sunrise Thursday morning at 7:30 and Saturday at sunrise. There’s plenty of leagues, men’s women’s, you name it. This is just a really great course to play because even not the greatest golfer can get a eagle or a birdie.

Great for its price. Teebox needs some work and very fast greens. Great place to practice your short game! Staff are great. The one thing that makes the place lose a star is not having a ranger going around. Hole 12 and 13 backed up by 3 groups due to some guys just jacking around. But no worries, cut in front of them and came back to the hole.

Very fun and challenging executive course. The greens were in great shape and played true and the rest of the course was in decent condition. Great place to work on your short game. Every staff member we spoke with was very friendly and helpful. Many reviews mention waiting and pace of play, but we played at noon on a Monday so had no issue there. I could see at a more busy time slot that could be an issue, so if that bothers you, don't book during peak hours, or bring a few extra beers and just chill out. Water comes into play on most holes, so bring plenty of balls if you are a beginner lacking accuracy. For comparison, we usually play a private country club. Conditions here aren't quite on par with that, but they aren't far off and it's only $15 a round with a cart. Some complaints on here about tee box conditions. I didn't think they were too bad considering it's mostly par 3s and people are using irons off the tee. Bottom line, you get more than you pay for and it's a fun course. We'll be back next time we're in town.

Fun short course. Played it day after a tropical storm dumped over 3 inches of rain. It was very wet in spots but overall good condition. Can't speak on pace of play as I avoid any poor pace of play by putting a ball in the air at 1st light. Zipped around in 1:20. Staff was very friendly and accommodating.

We love this course same as our course in Wisconsin we own. I love some of the comments on course condition and speed of play. They don t add that they paid less then $20.00 to play 18 with a cart. Always going to get complaints from cheap Charlie's. We love it and will always come back.

Overbooked!!! The 5 some in front of us was playing out of three bags, ridiculous! Course was in decent shape, but pace was excruciatingly slow for an executive course. Started at 245, quit after 7 holes in 2 hours, ridiculous! Only paid $18 so no big deal. STOP OVERBOOKING!

Ok executive course and prices are wallet friendly. Took 5 hours to shoot 18 since no one is around to keep groups moving. Saw some brutal golf and numerous people that don’t know simple golf etiquette making the round take forever

Good executive course with some interesting holes. It wasn't in perfect shape, but for the price we paid on Gofnow, I can't complain one bit. It had rained hard the night before we played and the course drained very well. Especially since the following day, we paid a lot of money to play Westchase right up the block, and that place was a swamp. I was a little worried about pace of play after reading some negative remarks online, but there was a ranger (oops, I mean "player's assistant") out there and we finished in about 2 1/2 hours on a Friday late morning.

Played here for the first time on December 2nd, knew I made the right decision 5 mins after showing up. This place is fire, illuminating chill golf energy (that was for lack of better words), and hit a hole in one on the 5th hole that same day. Nah like fr I a got hole in one and that aint supposed to happen, man i like this place. If anyone finds a #4 noodle; I found it in the pond on the 4th hole and hit my hole in one with it on my next swing. Think I left that thing in the cart. Also gotta mention, I got a hole in one last Friday! A wh-wh-wh-wh-whoppppppingggg 60 or so yards straight down the chuteee. If anyone crosses paths with a noodle that makes your hand tingle with excellence upon touch, please contact me, its been trying to find home.

This is a FUN executive (SHORT) course! Lots of 60-100 yard holes. Perfect for a girlfriend or wife who wants to get out and play and boost the confidence of her swing. I see Lots of couples who play here! The greens are in good condition (nov 2018) and the rate of play on thanksgiving was just fine. They sell beer and wine and even liquor here!

Great course for novice golfers. My only issue is that my family was hit into for 6 holes because they are not very experienced. We let one group play through only to see foursomes bumper to bumper all the way back to the first hole. Needless to say, we stopped after 9 holes even though we paid for 18. Great food and very friendly staff though. I recommend this course but would play best ball if you have inexperienced players with you.

I’m a beginner golfer and this was my first outing by myself. The staff was great and the course was well kept. It’s an executive course, so there are lots of par 3s, and only a couple of par 5s. But the price range is right, and it is just a fun place to develop your game.

Always looking to try a new golf course when I come down to the Tampa area. Groupon had this Hot deal for this course and wanted to give it a try. Knowing it was an executive course with limited driving possibilities, the price of 21 bucks per person including car was worth a try. The course itself was ok but the fairways and greens were in average overall condition. The course was packed as this place seems to have specials for all and not just on groupon. 18 holes took almost 4 hours and most holes were backed up 2 parties deep. From my understanding, this is typical for the owner to do this, as in, over schedule the course .

This is a view of the 14th Fairway from the clubhouse. This is the longest hole with the distance to the green from the blue tees being 375 yards!

I'm not a golfer, I went to accompany a family member to learn about Golf. The price is much cheaper than other courses for renting what you need, and golf cart included. ( I called around) I really enjoyed the experience also there is a small food area. Which the prices are much cheaper than expected.

The course is in excellent condition. However, the course layout is very cramped resulting in a lot of "Fore"s and some near misses. Pace of play was extremely slow. Course is very nice and in great condition-no complaints there. Greens are very challenging designs. But the pace if play was too slow for us. 2-3 groups waiting at every tee box, all day.

This place was a hidden gem..nicer than most courses for double the price. The only issue was the amount of time it'll take you to play the course. The full 18 took us over 5hours 45min . A lot of waiting on the groups in front and the warden didn't get involved..honestly not much he could have done. We will definitely come back .

I love this short golf course when I want to get out & play a quick 18. It's the kind of course where you'll get plenty of opportunities to work on your short game which we all need. There's a few holes I'm not crazy about because they're just too short for me....even if I hit a lob wedge. But for $24 with a cart for 18 during the peak of snow bird season is pretty damn good. If you're looking for a perfectly manicured course, this place isn't it. But if you're looking to get out and play a quick, short 18, this is great place to go.

My parents bought a home on the 9th hole at Countryway golf course back in 1989 and they have been there ever since. I spent ten years under their roof and loved it. My father passed in 2017 in the house he died in his sleep at the place he loved best. My mother is nearly 92 and still sharp as a tack and she refuses to leave her beloved home. The golf course is well kept up for a mini executive course and I always enjoyed sitting out on the lennai or the pool or jacuzzi and making conversation with them. Everyday felt like a vacation there. I can't say anything bad about this place.

Busy but affordable executive course that offers opportunities to work on your short game. Spoiled by slow players but that can happen anywhere. Greens in good shape considering the traffic. Easy to book rounds. Pro shop and cafe staff very helpful and friendly.

Very friendly staff, nice course. Incredibly rude patrons that were trying to rush us through, when we were behind a young kid with her family trying to learn the game. Seems like people have absolutely no patience... Maybe they should have gotten an earlier tee time, rather than harrass us by literally screaming across the course to "pick it up and go".

This is always a fun course to play, they put a lot of work into it during the pandemic. The course has been running a bit rough lately, but the staff inside is what keeps my buddies and I coming back! Cristina usually works the front on the weekend but she's always of help when it comes to setting a walkup tee time and always gives it to you straight about traffic on the course

Challenging holes with sandtraps and water on 16 of 18 holes. Very reasonable rates. Great grill with fair prices. Very friendly and helpful staff. Practice green and sand trap. All kinds of wildlife,including a big alligator! My only regret is that there is no driving range.

Nice little executive course, mostly par 3's with a few par 4's sprinkled in. Great place to work on your short game. Staff was friendly and helpful. Had no issue with pace of play on a weekday morning. Greens, fairways, and tee boxes were all in good shape. Would definately recommend if you are looking to play a shorter course that provides a moderate challenge.

I golf here weekly with my wife. Love it. For the price know one can complain about anything. I just wish they would not allow carry on alcohol. Some times people are there to drink and joy ride , not golf.

I have been coming here regularly for about 10 years now. For the price, this place is maintained better than you would think. Nice people at the counters and cafe. Definitely a great value, I always leave that course with a smile.

Not a bad course... Mainly go because it's affordable. The Greens are pretty terrible tho... Patches of grass filled in all over, bumpy. Not really that big a deal though as I just play for fun. $14-$16 a person for 18 holes and a cart, can't really complain.

Fantastic executive course. Fun to play and still has some challenging holes. Pace of play can get a little slow when busy as many holes are short but very fun. Great course for younger players or those looking for short game and closing shot challenges.

The place is $15 to play and the food is mostly less than $5. Sure. The greens arent winning awards, and there is a 54 yard hole. But were both kidding if we say we dont need to work on our short game...and its less than a buck a hole. Does exactly what it should. For a price you wont beat
