ParWest was an incredible experience from top to bottom. Customer service was as good as I’ve ever experienced from a retail golf spot, and the fitting I went through was both thorough and enjoyable. The staff is knowledgeable as well as welcoming. I did my fitting with Royce and he was great to work with. They listened to exactly what I was looking for with recommendations and good feedback whenever it was necessary. It was my first time fitting for clubs and I’m so happy I went there to get my bag set up. I will be recommending ParWest to any friends and acquaintances of mine looking for a place to go.

First time in the store today and it was a great experience. Went in to upgrade my irons. Tony helped me out and made sure I was getting the best product that matched my skill level and swing as well as value. The entire staff was very friendly and very knowledgeable. Friendly atmosphere and a plethora of options when it comes to everything you need for the game. Overall it was a great experience, would highly recommend for any type of golfer.

I'm definitely still a beginner golfer who has been using some really cheap older clubs to make sure I enjoyed the sport. I recently decided it was finally time to upgrade to a nice driver but was still unsure of where to go or how to know what to get. A friend recommended ParWest and I'm very thankful they did! I unfortunately didn't catch the associates name, but even as a beginner to the sport I felt very welcomed walking around and shopping here. They answered any questions I had and were able to help out with some suggestions as to where to look! As I was going to purchase a driver, he even recommended I go and take a few practice hits in the practice bay they had set up to make sure I liked the feel of it. I will definitely be back here any time in looking to upgrade any of my clubs or pick up any of the other good gear or apparel here!

This place has an wide range of used and new clubs by to fit your budget or complete your set. The staff here are helpful when you aren’t sure what you’re looking for and are nice to chat golf with. I was able to test swing used clubs when I asked and never felt pressured when I just wanted to roam around looking at everything. ParWest exemplifies a friendly neighborhood golf shop.

ParWest is a great local golf shop that has both new and used clubs for great prices and pressure free sales. ParWest is also a great place to trade in clubs, especially towards new ones but either way the prices are fair and its way easier than trying to sell them online. This is definitely my favorite place to get golf gear.

Best golf store around! I started coming here due to some pretty terrible service with another shop. Was greeted and treated well. I have some specific requests for my clubs and they accommodated me in every way, even when I had to make a change half way through the process they still took care of me. I travel 45 minutes to get here and it’s worth coming here verse anywhere else. Thank you ParWest!

I went into Par West after my wife got me a fitting for my birthday. Ended up getting fitted for a new driver, wood and hybrid. It was a great experience. I felt completely heard and my options were laid out in front of me in a way I could easily understand. Tony even took the time to suggest some options from the used rack. My questions were answered honestly and I never felt like I was being pushed into a more expensive option or configuration. We ended up going under budget significantly from what I thought I would need to spend.

Just bought a new set of Cobra clubs today from ParWest. The staff was great and answered all my questions. I was visiting from out of town and after reading about the great reviews, I figured it was worth a visit. Kyler and Tony were amazingly helpful, kind, and knowledgable. In addition to helping me pick out a new set of irons, they were generous enough to ship it to me in Southern California. Even though the irons took some time to get in, they were very professional and responsive in updating me about everything. These guys are the real deal, and I will definitely be coming back the next time I'm in town!

I've finally decided to up my game and buy a new set of clubs, wedges and a 3-wood, I set up an appointment with ParWest for a custom fit. When I got their Tony welcomed me right away, showed me to the club fitting area and said to take my time and get warmed up. As I warmed up, Royce greeted me and introduced himself, asked me how I was doing, just a real friendly start and not one that felt rushed. He went over my request for clubs and took the time to explain different shafts, kick points, stiffness, length, grind, lie angle, bounce everything you'd want to know and then some. He really has an in depth knowledge of clubs and how it translated to different golfers. We went over my allotted time of an hour but at no time did I feel like I was being rushed or needed to hurry up and finish. It really says a lot about these guys and the service they provide. You would never get this level of professionalism and attention at a Corporate Golf Super Store. There was no hard sell or a push to try a different brand like the other guys do. What can I say about ParWest other than a sincere thank you and If I could give these guys 6 stars I would! Shop local, shop ParWest you won't be disappointed!

Just traded in my old driver for something better. They gave me much more than I expected for my trade in and had a big selection of used drivers. Ended up getting a club I’m very happy with for much less than I expected ti pay. The staff was very easy going. They left me hit whatever I wanted on their simulator. It was a really good pressure free experience. I’m going to go back to get fitting for irons because of this experience. Really impressed with their selection and the feel of the staff. Biggest thing was how they handled my trade in. Highly recommend visiting this shop.

I am a beginner to the game of golf but I wanted to get a set of clubs as well as all of the other odds and ends needed to ply the game. After reading the reviews for ParWest I decided to give them a shot. I went in Friday and talked to Tony. He was very patient with me asking thousands of questions and trying to learn as much as I could from him. We spent over an hour together and then unfortunately I had to leave without making a purchase. I came back the next day and he spent probably 4 more hours with me making sure I was getting everything I needed and ensuring that the clubs would work well for me and allow me to grow into them while being forgiving as I improve my game. I never once felt like they were trying to rush me out of there to move on to the next customer. The guys have a phenomenal selection, seemingly endless amounts of knowledge, and are all around just very nice and helpful people. I highly recommend using ParWest for all of your golf needs. Help support some local guys instead of shopping at the corporate chain stores. You will not be disappointed. Thank you to the ParWest crew for all of your help and patience.

Just bought a used Odyssey putter that I had found on offer up. Came in to try it out and realized it was perfect with the exception of being a bit short for me. They told me $20 to extend the putter. I decided to pick a different grip. I was gonna try to haggle on the final price a bit but when he wrote up the ticket, the final price was lower than what they had even quoted me. Therefore no need to haggle. As a guy who runs a small business, this is why I choose to support other small businesses. They're not trying to nickel and dime, they're just trying to earn a living. If I ran a golf shop it would be a lot like this one.

Positive experience here today looking for some items to get back into playing after a 12 plus year break. Kyler (spelling) was kind, friendly and helpful. I'm a female and not terribly knowledgeable about equipment because a lot has changed since my days of playing but he was great at explaining. I bought a couple of new clubs and some head covers. Recently went in for a triple fitting for myself and two brothers-in-law. Tony helped schedule us and Royce took care of the fittings. This was our first time going through the fitting process so we were very excited, all over the place, and unsure of what to expect, honestly. Royce was the man and everyone else in the shop were just as great. Royce took his time, answered all of our questions, and while one person was going through the fitting, the other guys were helping everyone else get ideas for clubs to try all squared away. The service was second to none, matched only by the vibe. The whole day honestly felt like we were in our backyard with hundreds of clubs and shafts at our disposal. Low pressure and easy like a Sunday morning. Having beers on tap definitely helped add to the experience. ParWest took care of us and made sure we were walking out of there not only 100% informed, but 100% satisfied. As a bonus, they even hooked us up with a little bit of in store credit for my two brother's-in-law to add to their already sweet purchases and they even hooked me up with an additional trade in bonus on my old clubs. Was totally unexpected, but not in the least bit surprising with how they treated us all day long. ParWest Strong, ParWest All Day Long. You made a customer for life for all my future golf needs.

I needed a new shaft on my driver. I called the local store of a nationally known club fitting company. They said they only do 'whole' clubs and suggested I try ParWest Golf. I had never heard of them. ParWest Golf is now my go-to golf shop! No more big box stores! There is no need to go anywhere else for your golf equipment as ParWest Golf has everything a golfer needs. The personal interest and service by Tony was second to none! A little over a half hour after I got there, I walked out with a shaft perfectly fitting my swing and swing speed at an unbelievable price....I was floored....had to take a technical 8 count! I'll be back to get the putter I was looking at....Tony knows the one!

Wonderful experience today at Parwest, 1st fitting I’ve ever had, Kyler and Tony made it a very comfortable experience for someone who didn’t know what to expect. I couldn’t be more satisfied with the way the way whole process went, no pressure, just hit a lot of balls with different shaft and head combinations trying to dial in what I wanted from the experience. Ended up buying new irons and a 3 wood, heading back for a driver fitting later in the week if they can get me in. Be prepared to hit a lot of balls. My new favorite store without a doubt.

First let me start off by saying that I live in New Jersey and ParWest Golf Shop is clear across the country. Tony has been working with me on a new set of Taylormade irons and has gone the extra mile. (Or 3,000 miles) to help me out. He has not only offered expert advice on a combo set of P770’s and P790’s he also worked with me getting the perfect shafts for my game as well as matching my grip of choice from my previous set. I traded in my previous set and they gave me more value for my trade ins than anywhere else, including the big golf superstores. The guys at ParWest custom built my set and shipped them out to me first class. They arrived to NJ from Oregon in two days with no additional charge. I can honestly say it has been the best experience I have ever had in purchasing golf equipment as well as the fantastic selection of gear and apparel they sent me as well. I will be working with ParWest again this week on a set up of a driver and soon my fairways as well. My only regret is that I live so far away because I would love to be at the shop doing a little putting and having a beer with the fellas.

I had the pleasure of working with Royce and Tony on a club fitting just last week and I have to echo the overwhelmingly positive reviews already posted here. The shop is in great shape and has everything you'd need in the way of new sticks, gear and accessories while also having stuff you didn't know a golf shop needed – like cold beer on tap. The iron fitting process was excellent. Despite the shop being crazy busy at the time, Royce was patient, helpful and made me feel like I was the only one in the store. He worked through heaps of options for me until we found the right heads, shaft and grips. Total pro. If that isn't enough, well, then let's talk about what this business is about. These guys started ParWest to live out a dream and provide access to top equipment locally. They're independent and clearly do this with a passion and care for the game and players' experience you simply won't find at a big box shop. If you can, stop by. ParWest is absolutely worth checking out and supporting.

This has become my go-to golf shop. Historically I'd buy my golf clubs, apparel, accessories at my club's pro shop but I lived near Par West so I figured I'd try them. Great customer service in club purchases, I even rented the simulator for a few hours and had a few beers. I recently purchased a Cobra Rad Speed driver and unfortunately broke it. The guys were able to accommodate my situation by getting me a new driver at all cost mostly to them. No questions or hassle. They could've easily told me to take a walk but chose the customer first. I'll continue to buy all my stuff from Par West Golf, thanks guys!

Very happy with Par West Golf! My first time in, I was looking for a high loft hybrid to help a specific part of my game. After having bad experiences at other big name stores I was delighted at how helpful Tony was in finding what I needed. I told him my goal and his first recommendation turned out to be the club I bought. He was able to add yards to my shot, and save me nearly 50% of what I was planning to spend. Very well informed on product and very helpful, even in the midst of a busy Saturday. 5/5!

We went in to check out their selection of lefty clubs for my teen player and were pleasantly surprised to find that they had box sets as well as the expected variety of high end name brands. Par West is great. Especially after a trip to Golf Galaxy that was less than inspiring. I walked into Par West and told them my story. "I'm a new and improving golfer. Taking lessons swinging some old starter irons from 2005. Need some new irons to support my growth in the game without a price tag that may lead to divorce." I had the most amazing experience with my fitting today! Royce was ridiculously patient with my inconsistent drives and very encouraging throughout the process of fitting me for my new driver. Due to the open schedule, he took extra time with me and allowed me to move from my chosen driver, on to a 5 wood and a hybrid as well. Needless to say, I left with a couple new pieces to put in my bag as well as my new favorite place to make any further golf related purchases. These guys are amazing. Staff was down-to-earth and gave me pointers on where to go for practice, swing training, and preparation routines for the winter months. For the lefties out there, a fairly decent selection of used left-handed clubs as well. I've left with the Swing Resistance Trainer and practiced with it vigorously over the past 24 hours. BEFORE you consider purchasing anything off Amazon, you should go to ParWest first. I spotted a glove I was going to purchase from Amazon and bought it from Parwest instead because the difference in price was literally pennies. I started going here a few weeks ago after moving to the area. The local Play-it-Again sports had nice people working there, but they didn't have much of a golf inventory, so I decided to go to ParWest instead. On my first visit, I was helped right away by an employee. I told them what I was looking for (a better, more forgiving driver than the one I was using), and they pulled 5 drivers in great condition from their large selection of pre-owned clubs. They allowed me to tee off a few shots with the drivers into their net in the back, I was so impressed with their service that I bought one of the drivers, and I am very happy with it. Tony is the guy I spoke to regarding my driver, listened to everything and gave great suggestions. There is also a younger employee who put a new grip on the driver, who listened to my request to offset the alignment of the grip and installed it perfectly. Everybody that I met at ParWest was really nice and gave a genuine impression that they want to help. Support a locally owned company that is genuinely trying to do right by the people that live in the area. Stop being lazy, using Amazon (a company that doesn't allow their employees bathroom breaks) and go to ParWest first.

These guys are the best. I was in touch with them and came down from Seattle to purchase some clubs. They stayed 35 minutes late for me to show up because I got stuck in the Puget Sound traffic. So nice and knowledgeable. I will definitely buy from them again, even if I have to spend another 5 hours in traffic to get down there! Call them up and speak with some real customer service pros, who also know all about golf equipment.

I had an awesome experience at PWG. I drove all the way from Beaverton and it was well worth it. I came in needing guidance and advice on my current set up and insight on a possible upgrade to my set. Tony checked my current set and instead of trying to sell me new items I didn't need, he was honest and recommended I stick with what I have for now. I've shopped at Redtail and GolfGalaxy and they don't come close to the level of service that Tony and PWG showed me. You don't feel rushed or pressured like other places that can be hectic. Guys at Par West are awesome! Good vibes and truly does feel like a hometown golf shop! Ordered clubs there about 8 weeks ago, they quoted me 3-5 weeks...at the 3 week mark Tony called me to tell me it would be a bit longer. He proceeded to check in with me every week or two on the order to let me know that they were still a bit delayed. Now I know this is a manufacturer's issue and I didn't expect this level of concern from the shop, but Tony was awesome! Really appreciate that from them and I plan on making any major golf related orders with them..a bit of a drive from Beaverton but again, the vibe there is great, they have all the gear and equipment I would need PLUS beer on tap...

I came to ParWest Golf to get fitted for a new set of clubs. Tony was the man to help me. I am a taller and bigger guy, who has used standard sized clubs for the last 7 years and I needed a change. He talked to me about extending my clubs about 1/2 an inch longer than standard and discussed 5 different club manufacturers that he thought would be a good fit for me. I hit a couple of the clubs, for him to see and hear how well or poorly I was hitting. We came to deciding that the TaylorMade Sim 2 Max OS was the best clubs for my game. Drove 30 min based on reviews and would give them a 10 star review if possible. Very knowledgeable when it came to a new grip for my putter. Took extra time to answer my questions and allowed me to sample all grips with zero pressure. Ended up with a new Super Stroke that fit me perfectly. I witnessed the installation and they took the right steps to make sure it was done right. I was very impressed with ParWest. I tend to do my own grips but now that I saw how they re-grip I can tell my clubs are in great hands. As I walked around the store it was well organized and I was able to pick up items I needed for a great golf outing. Needless to say I will be back.

While in town for a couple of days and after reading other reviews, I went in for an iron fitting. Kyler was great. Asked what I was currently playing (didn't have my clubs with me) and what I was hoping to accomplish. I was leaning towards a new set of TaylorMade 790s or 770s. Kyler asked whether I was open to other brands and I said I was but wanted to hit the TaylorMades first. Absolutely NO PRESSURE from him in any direction. He just kept changing out heads and shafts. We cycled through TMs, Ping, Srixon (I'm already familiar with Callaway) and ended up thinking a combo set of 770s and 790s would work best. Fitting was $99 (money very well spent) and that fee is waived if I buy from them. Also gives military discount. GREAT EXPERIENCE!!

I initially went to Redtail for some new irons and was basically told they were too busy to fit me and that I should make an appointment. I found Parwest through googling other shops and I would give this place 50 stars if I could. The staff there was amazing. I tried out a bunch of different irons on their simulator. I ended up doing the same with drivers and fairway woods. I ended up leaving with a whole new set. The staff was extremely and helpful and I didn’t feel like I was being pushed to buy things. I gave them my budget and they made sure I got the best clubs in my price range. Won’t go anywhere else for my golfing needs.

Very knowledgeable staff. There's a small putting green to try as well as a hitting net - they will gladly let you hit a new club to get a feel before buying. They give the most fair trade-in value - always willing to knock off a few bucks to make sure you get a fair trade of your old clubs towards the purchase of a new club. Last month I purchased a brand new set of PXG irons (which I love) only to realize that I should've went with graphite shafts. Even though I didn't purchase the clubs from ParWest they were able to replace my steel shafts with the correct graphite shafts for my speed swing etc.. Their overall customer service (Tony) is truly how you should be treated when shopping. They are attentive, respectful, knowledgeable (Malu) and truly care that you walk away happy. My son and I came across this place via Offer Up. We found out that they had a store in Portland which was only about 10-15 minute drive from Vancouver off of 205. We were greeted warmly right away. From the first minute we got there we felt that the team was committed to ensuring that we had a great experience! They have it all! A putting green, simulator and club repair services! They do have a nice mix of new and used clubs . Here is also the kicker.... you can enjoy a cold beer while you are there! They will be offering local brew on tap! ParWest golf shop is second to none in the Portland area. I was able to reach out before driving from Salem and they said they would get my repairs done this afternoon because I have to play tomorrow, not only did they deliver on there promise but they exceeded my expectations. Kyler is very knowledgeable about the game and is an ace at club repair he was able to adjust my lofts and lies on my irons and regrip my wedges and putter in less than 45 minutes. I was able to warm up hit on the loft and lie board to ensure my clubs were adjusted to the correct numbers. Anthony goes out of his way to make sure all of his customers are taken care of and it really shows. 1000% better experience when I had visited the shop under it’s previous ownership. Not only was the service great but I got to enjoy a super delicious Pilsner while they worked on my clubs. Visit this shop if you need anything golf related they have state of the art equipment, great service and an atmosphere that is second to none.

I purchased a Wilson Staff brand Golf Glove. There is a small Selection of Women's Golf Clothing. I'm going to be back, there are some Really Nice Items. Also.... if you are looking for a Webbed Belt for Golf, or for your Job... there are Plenty. There are even the Kinds of Belts that you can Cut to Fit your Size. The Sales Staff that helped me are both Courteous and Friendly. I also noticed, but did NOT purchase those Golf Counters... you know that keep track of your Putts and your Swings... it's Manual. And in case you did NOT know where to put your Watch while playing for GPS... there is a Holder Specifically for it. There were a Couple in Stock, on the Afternoon that I was inside ParWest Golf shopping. Oh yes, ... there were Plenty of Golf balls just waiting to be bought.

Absolutely loved it here and will be doing more business here. I found out about them on offer up as they were advertising their "used" selection. I made them a fair offer from their already competitive price and they accepted it. They had a great selection on all sorts of gear and equipment. Both workers were friendly and informative but not overwhelming. I said I wanted to browse for a bit and they gave me all the time I wanted but were always within reach for when and if I had a question. With how good my experience was here I'm happy to say this will be my "home store" for anything I need. The only problem you might find here is trying to not spend your entire pay check on cool stuff!

Was helped by Royce on this occasion but others offered comments too. One thing I often encounter because I tend to wear old worn clothes most of the time is a pre-judgment that I am not going to buy anything. I tend to walk when that happens. You can't tell who has money ready to spend by what they look like. If you help everyone the same like these guys, your business will always come out ahead. I just started golfing 9 months ago and have been obsessed. Worked hard toward my goal of breaking, and my reward was to get fitted. I had researched what a fitting was about and even sat in with one of my friends fittings. I had researched TrueSpec, Tour Van, manufacturer run fittings, and even considered traveling to southern California for my fitting. Thing is Golf is a journey, and it will take you many places. It is a significant investment, and as such I expected a very personal experience. NorthEast Portland’s ParWest delivered all in spades. I had popped in for used clubs after breaking 100. Every time they remembered me. They have beers on tap if you want to hang out, TV to watch the latest tourney, ALL THE BRANDS on display. Long before breaking 90 Kyler, and Tony were there to answer any and all questions I might have about fittings. After reaching my goal I scheduled the fitting. Walked into the fitting and they had setup the GCQuad Launch monitor with a display for my Data. Kyler had run me thru the fitting for the shaft specs, then onto various iron heads. I asked many questions, and inquired how I felt about some of the recommends. Everything comes down to Feel and Data. Sacrifice yards for better feel and confidence, or find something that checks all boxes. Kyler was patient and motivated to find the best fit for me. Tony put everything together, and I got fitted for the whole bag. You get what you put in to any experience. Go in for a great time. No rush, or hustle, and bustle to distract you. Best place to buy used golf clubs in Portland, they have a great selection. The reason for their great selection of used clubs is because they pay out the highest trade-in values for used clubs. There's no other reason to trade-in your golf clubs anywhere else. Higher than golf galaxy and pga tour guide online. This is great because their prices on everything was already cheaper than other golf stores. I was also able to get a golf bag and had the used club I purchased regripped in their golf club repair center. Process was very quick, took only a minute.

Literally today I had traded in a driver that didn’t fit me and was able to find the same driver but in a 12 degree loft that I feel would fit me a lot better. I cannot believe the deal and the service I received at ParWest Golf. I had an iron fitting, and they served me a beer while I took a break. They explained the entire process and demonstrated how the changes they proposed would impact my game. Next, I honestly thought that they had screwed up on the price, or were quoting the wrong clubs, because the price was so much better than I found online or anywhere else. I left really happy, and then my Taylormade P790 TI's came in two weeks earlier than promised. Needless to say, I am excited to get in a few rounds before things get too wet. I already went back for a new bag. This is the spot!

I needed a new grip on my putter. I assumed that it would be cost prohibitive. I got a grip, watched some videos, and messed it up. In the midst of the pandemic I thought I would try again. The large national chains were closed, even for just store pickup, so I went online to look for a local retailer. I had driven by there store many times, as I work in the area, but assumed that they would be more expensive than the large retail stores. Boy was I wrong! There prices were on par with the big guys, and the cost to get the grip installed was a tenth of what I expected! I felt dumb for not checking in on these guys before messing up a job that they did for a great cost in no time flat. They will get my business from here on out. Except when I have to get that extra sleeve of balls from the pro shop because I'm a shankapotamaus.

A breath of fresh air in the golf business arena. Definitely a shop that caters to the retail experience. Being very limited to the amount of shops in town on the Eastside of town I’d much rather support a local business and some good guys vs the big box store that doesn’t know much about the equipment.
