All three courses were in great condition. The only needed improvement are the bunkers. Some bunkers had too much sand or not enough, or had grass/weeds creeping in. I recommend the blue and white courses. There is water everywhere and several greens protected by water in the front. The slope of the greens appear to be greater than they from afar, though still present a challenge when putting. We had quicker greens and dealt with verticut, but that didn’t detract from a solid round. Beautiful course. This course is probably the most reasonably priced course around. Highly recommended.

Nice and challenging course with water hazards on almost every hole. This course is a sanctuary for birds and they are everywhere on this course. Despite that this course is maintained well enough that you are not walking in bird poop everywhere and all the birds are fun to watch. The course itself had slower greens than I am used to but the fairways were great

I loved the look and feel of Ocotillo Golf Course. It has a good flow and fun to play. Greens were hard to hold. Conditions were good. One negative is all the bird do-do all over the place. Not a little, but a lot. Small greens with swales, but putts did not break as much as they looked. I had a good lunch when finished.

Beautiful place for a wedding!! Great place in general but today we were here for a wedding and it was amazing!! The event coordinator was awesome! I believe her name is Ariel!! The bartenders were really nice the sports bar was super cool!! Definitely worth checking out!! If you're from Arizona you'll feel like you're in a whole different place! The grass is sooooo green!!

My Son and I played last week there and loved it. The course was in great shape especially if you get rid of those stupid birds that destroy the trees A shout out to Kendall for his great play and hospitality. Honestly, this place is resting on its laurels. When in good shape, course is pristine, but it seems like they dont really want to offer such conditions until the winter. Had the members card that includes unlimited range balls and discounted rates, but ended up cancelling it. Honestly, the service just fell short of other courses at this price point. Guys/gal in pro shop are a little cold, and it was hard to feel welcome, no matter how often I visited. Maybe the nicest course in the area, but not really two three times as good as others in the area, although it is priced as such.

This is a great technical course with lots of water and hazards. The greens are usually in really good condition and our fast. Most of the time pace of play is reasonable. Today it was not great and I will always suggest Courses do the best they can with pace of play because there is nothing worse then paying to wait hole after hole. If you are not a skilled player Ie do not have a handicap bring lots of balls and play conservative and the correct tees. All in all this is a great course a reasonable price point to.

One of my favorite Phoenix area courses. It's a nice mix of city and desert play. Almost every hole has water but for a few and the course is very beautiful. My only complaint would be that the tee boxes are not flat or level so you're having to tee off with the ball above or below your feet most of the time. Many of greens are tiered so getting on in regulation doesn't ensure a good score in the end. A fun and challenging round.

Golf course is beautiful, lots of water,nice fairways and greens.. little bit on the slow side, fun to play. Good practice facility,nice pro shop, very friendly staff. Restaurant very clean and food they serve so delicious. Will visit and play again for sure! Strongly recommend!

The Course was immaculate, the service was horrible. There was nobody in the snack bar on the turn, pace of play is slow, no starter, bag drop guys were useless, and we saw the cart girl 1 time. I question the head pros credentials because with a facility this nice things should be run much smoother UPDATE* The head pro reached out and comped us a round because of the problems. This is obviously a great way to get us to give them another try - and they delivered. Course is in great shape, wish there wasn’t as much clutter seems to always be a hold up but overall the best arcis course.

As an Acris prim member, I have played the Ocotillo course about 15 times in the past couple of years. The course is always in good condition and I generally have a positive experience. However, during my last visit about three weeks ago, I encountered some poor customer service. When I tried to use my lunch voucher at the turn, the person preparing burgers outside by the chipping and putting green told me I had to go inside to the grill to use it. When I asked why, they simply said "we can't accept vouchers here." When I went inside to the grill, there were around 50 people seated at the bar and I couldn't even get anyone's attention to help me. This was inconvenient for me as a member, disruptive for the players behind me, and likely frustrating for the waitstaff in the grill. As a result, I was unable to use my lunch voucher.

Well with weather you never know about frost delay. Woke up and hadn’t even put my glasses on decided to call shop and ask. Hey! Do you guys have a weather delay by any chance. Response. In 43 degree weather I don’t think so with a real attitude! Hey I’m not Johnny mountain news guy. I’m just calling the shop to ask. I know your flooded with phone calls so get a weather line. Sad way to start the day for sure. Not sure I want to go back. Took me 7 years to try course again and I get Mr wonderful on the phone. I won’t use his name because everyone has a bad day!!!

To whom it may concern; We live in a current age of society where almost every single negative interaction is highlighted and people are so quick to point out flaws but only a select few take the time to bring attention to a positive interaction. Which is why I want to take a brief moment to focus on one of your employees, i believe her name was Jaidyn Coy. She was the wedding organizer. You have an exceptional employee in her; weddings are a very delicate thing. It's one of the biggest milestones of a relationship perhaps besides having children and so the pressure for having everything go right is immense obviously. I love my cousin Andrew, and all of his groomsmen, we're a great group of guys. However you can have the most talented roster of players in a sense but without the right coach and direction, it won't matter. Enter Jaidyn, she was able to rope all of us in, she did such a phenomenal job at the amazing balancing act it was to manage both groom & bridal parties. She is a shining star in your organization, with her ability to manuever every situation or hurdle that presented itself. There was a wide variety of personalities present and yet she effortlessly managed to rope each one in resulting in the most beautiful wedding possible. It was an absolutely perfect day followed by an even moreso perfect evening. And I just know it was because of her. I'm not sure who hired her but i assure you that it was one of the best decisions ever made at that golf course, she is ultra talented without a ceiling when it comes to her potential. I pray this email finds you well and that you don't take these words lightly. There is the old saying, people will forget what you said but they will never forget how you made them feel. I can confidently say, because of her professionalism and unparalleled skillset that everytime this wedding is thought about, it'll bring back memories of a picture perfect time capsule our family and friends will have forever. She really is something special, I pray she continues to find success within your organization and that you reward her appropriately. I'm not sure what the policy is for great feedback but I hope she is recognized amongst her peers as the real MVP. She's a beacon of excellence and the standard she set/held for your club was second to none. I recently played Ocotillo again (Blue/White) after not being here for a fairly long time. I forgot how much I missed it. The layout os fairly open, with a ton of water, but still very pRange is being renovated and looks like it will be very nice when it is done. They still let you hit balls, they are just installing some great turf for the back area to help reduce wear, I would guess. Fairways and tees were in good shape, a bit wet maybe, but this time of year it is nice to see. The greens were exceptional, soft, but firm enough to provide a great putting experience. Not super fast, 10ish or so...but just a solid, true roll and if you are decent, you are hitting some wedges that back up. Food at the turn was good and the beverage cart attendant was pleasant. We saw her a bunch of times, even though she was covering all 27 holes. I have nothing negative to say about the experience, except that the course is almost an hour from my house, so not an option for me all that often. But I hope to make it a monthly thing! Kudos to the staff and grounds crew, great job in a tough time of year!

The golf course has always been a good test of golf. But the service levels have always been erratic. Finally there is a solid staff on the course. I see cart attendants all the time now. Thank you. Today I had an amazing experience with Ashleigh. She was attentive, energetic and such a breath of fresh air from what you usually get on the course. I saw her five times and reloaded me in a timely fashion. Thank you for making my mediocre round a great day. I’ll be back.

Really fun round, have to play a lot of different shots off the tee it’s not just a bomb a driver course. Over all in great shape a few greens has some dead/over watered spots on the edges. The course played extremely soft so it was gettable!

Fun course(s)! The facilities are second to none, and almost all 27 holes have water interlaced throughout the fairways and approaches, which forces you to play smart/target golf...5w is probably your best friend here more so than the big stick or 3w. Oh, also, the sunsets are nice ;)

Great course; challenging layout for all skills. The fairways and tee boxes were very well maintained. Bunkers were soft and responsive. The only complaint I have is on the golfers; FIX YOUR BALL MARK! the greens looked like the moons surface. The greens did run true but man I fixed literally 4 to 6 ball marks after I fixed mine on about every single green. Great course to play.

Our experience last year was completely different in a good way over this year 22. We played twice this year because the course is close and others wanted to play there. However, on my second time, I brought grocery bags for everyone to use after their round of golf before getting into a car! The bird poo is just out of control this year, and so it was very unpleasant and hard to find any bare spots at all! The management has got to find a way to control, get rid of, anything better that what it is. We live on a golf course in Colorado, and it can be done. Disappointing! And I share that sentiment with others. We won’t be back this year.

Played March 10, 2021. I was traveling to visit family and wanted to play a round from Tampa. This course provided a great round of golf at a reasonable price. The course was in very good shape and had all the character you would want from a public course. Green were in very good shape, putted true and fairways were in very good shape. I would give this course a 4.5 star. Club house staff was friendly and helpful. I would suggest booking online, it is much cheaper than walking up to pay. If you do not have a controlled ball, you may want to bring plenty of balls, as there is a lot of water on this course, but that is what gives it is character.

This course has always been one of my favorites but I had not played there in a couple of years. The fairways and greens were in excellent condition. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I usually go through a few balls there because of the amount of water but if you keep it straight and mostly on the fairway you'll be in good shape.

Premium golf course with many different 18 holes courses. (Cart person, pro shop, and bar and grill located on the course) Driving range is more expensive than your public courses but you are hitting on real grass most of the time. Putting greens are fast and firm compared to the nice public golf courses. There is a small chipping green, but only for chipping within <5 yards of the green.

One of the best maintained courses in AZ! We got rained out and there were some very disrespectful golfers in the pro shop demanding a rain check. Mark handled it really well and took all of our information to call us the next day. I'm looking forward to returning to finish my 18!

Golf course looked great...food was good, but we came for drinks at around 11 am and no outside waitress. Table needed cleaning...we ended up wiping it ourselves... Inside bartender was nice and helpful, but you needed more help...food came fairly quick, but again, service could have been better. Chairs were also heavy and hard to scoot into your table...not practical.

There are a lot of holes with water and sand, but the water is the problem...not for beginners but it is still a great place to play. Bring extra balls. The restaurant was great, on the course and delicious food.

First time I played it when I moved here about a year ago it was great. Every time I’ve played it since it’s been a little worse. Tee boxes were terrible greens were bad, rough was long which isn’t a big deal but there was so much grass that needed to be cleaned up. Bunkers were hard as a rock. Definitely have some work to do. Not worth more than $40 right now.

Course in rough shape. Disappointing. Too much soggy ground, mud in places. Bird droppings are thick . Grass clippings all over the greens. This property is getting worse. Stick to weddings and corporate scrambles or maintain the golf course. Too bad , it is a beautiful setting. Golfers need to repair divots, greens are all pitted out. One last thing , littered tee boxes that are all chewed up.

One of the best and greenest courses we played. Staff was great. Lots of holes with water. We left a rocky dried out course to play Ocotillo again. Really good value and replay rate. Never saw a boat on the water the whole 2 days we played there? Guess it was too hot, upper 90s.

I had played here 6 years and the course was amazing. The staff was friendly and helpful. So i came back this year excited to play it again. The fairways were either muddy or patchy at various spots throughout. The bunkers had little or no sand in them. The greens were in great shape. Hope they can get back in shape.

Terrific golf course for the money. With 27 holes, you can get around of 18 in, in less than four and a half hours. Fairways are solid as well as the greens. The staff is very helpful and you see the cart girl about every 3 or 4 holes.

Interesting course, even though on flat land. The houses and significant water features around the course give it good shape - the houses are set well back so never feel intrusive. Some tricky greens and good bunkering. Staff were friendly - outrageously priced diet coke in a cup of ice from the restaurant otherwise a really great experience.

Lots of water, lots of goose droppings. Health Hazzard. Gets on your ball, gloves, shoes and into the restaurant and Pro Shop. This needs to be addressed by the new owners immediately. Otherwise, a good layout and friendly staff. We will not play it again until it is cleaned up.

I have been playing at Ocotillo for 20 years. This years visit was somewhat disappointing. The clubhouse, service, grill, and overall atmosphere and setting is outstanding. But this year the course conditions were rather poor. Excessive bird droppings, pitted greens were rough, and the tee boxes were absolutely horrible. I expect a better golf experience at Ocotillo. But it was quite a letdown.

I play here all the time. I would love to give it a 5 star but until they finish putting sand in all the bunkers I can’t. I’m not sure why some were done and not all. It’s not really a 5 star course but when you consider the value (price to condition) it would get a higher rating.

Great staff. Course was very playable, from bunkers to rough. Greens read true. If you are playing for a score, target golf is the name of the game with smart selections in your shots, you can have a wonderful score! Highly recommend!!

I attended a special event at the Ocotillo Golf Club in Gilbert, it was a wedding ceremony & the wedding reception. The ceremony was conducted on the lawn in front of the lake and it was lovely. The reception was also very nice but the host told me privately that there were supposed to be heaters & there were none. It got a bit chilly on the outside during the cocktail hour. However the dinner was excellent, all the food was very good & nicely presented. There was plenty of it too. Recommended.

Ocotillo is a great and challenging course. In recent years though there seems to always be problems with water collected all over the place causing swamp like footing. This isnt the water on the course, theres plenty of that where its supposed to be. For the price and level of difficulty this is a great course, i just wish it were in the same condition before new ownership took over.

19 handicap. Played 12/3 Course is in GREAT conditon, absolutley beautiful. Staff was very very nice from the carts to the pro shop, staff on the course were very nice and kept pace very fast. Only course I've played in the last month where I didnt have to wait to tee off. Lots of water, so be prepared to lose a few balls, despite any bad shot I hit I was still smiling after every shot. Amazing course, great staff, good pricing. 10/10 couldn't reccomend enough, definitely going to be back.

This course was really nice and plush grass. The greens were nice with the water all around. The people working there are very professional and courteous. I like it being really close to my house as well. I usually only play it when my dad comes to visit, so good place to go.

Played late July, greens were in good shape, but the rest of the course was looking pretty rough. The tee boxes were being re-done, irrigation was recently complete so fairways were a bit rough too. I'm hoping since Lefty and his investment team took over that the facilities will remain as good as Troon kept it. Greens are already better, so my hopes is that the remainder of the course will follow.

This is one of my favorite golf courses in the Phoenix area. The course is very green (you wouldn't believe you are in Arizona), and the course fees are reasonable. I wasn't ever stuck behind another group, so I would say that the pace of play is great. Best of all, the greens are flawless. I highly recommend trying this course out.

Course isn't bad. Not the best shape, but it is August. Heard the starter tell someone to "go back to where you came from." Obviously racist. Tried speaking to the manager, he brushed me off. Conlee, the cart girl was mortified by the starter's comments. First and last time I'll golf there. Plenty of courses in that area that are cheaper and better maintained without the racism.

It is an excellent course, when it is not abused. We found many divots and ball marks that were not repaired by previous golfers. The starter was informing golfers before hand but evidently no one cares.

I got married here and the staff was great and very accommodating but for some reason we started late? Everything was ready to go they just didnt start on time and then pushed things to go a little faster the rest of the wedding. Still had a great time here!

Great Course! Had a group come into town for a golf trip and this was our favorite course by far. We played Ocatillo and Raven on Saturday and there is no comparison. Next year when the group comes back we will be playing Ocatillo again without a doubt! Very well maintained. Friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable staff.

I am a snowbird and live in golf course community near Ocotillo, I like the staff, facilities, course, pace of play in the mornings, and food enough that I am a regular there now. The Water challenges keep me on my toes. The course needs to respect my game a little better and provide me some better scores is my only complaint.

Might be a great place for a wedding but golf course lacks flat tee boxes a range with no grass bunkers with no sand greens which were slow and bumpy . Needless to say the other 7 guys in our group aren't in any hurry to come back. Phil do something or sell it.
