Recently visited this country club in Bucks County Pennsylvania for a holiday party. It’s a very nice setting with a beautiful golf course. The dinner 🍽 was buffet style and there was a live band. The ballroom opened to the patio so it was nice to be able to go out and enjoy the beautiful weather. Everything was nice except it was hard to hear and talk to each other with the noise level .

We had our wedding at this amazing country club and it was our best choice! The staff were so professional and helpful all the time, Meghan O’Malley was our event sale associate, she was so patient and dedicated since the first time we contacted her. She helped me with every single detail and listened carefully to all my needs. This country club is so perfect, because you can take pictures around the golf course, the food is so delicious, the venue is so elegant and the staff are helpful and friendly! It has everything in just one place, and we are so thankful for our wonderful reception.

My nephew had his wedding here and it was SUPERB! The food was awesome, staff & service were great. Professional, yet friendly. Room and set up was perfect. The ceremony and the reception were both held here and the entire day went without any glitches! Obviously, I did not pay, so, I cannot comment on pricing. I highly recommend for your special day!!

CAN’T BE BEAT is a good expression for this course, or maybe a shining gem firing on all cylinders. Golf, drinks, fine dining, and top notch wedding receptions adorn the resume of the private course for the public. Somehow, this course has not only survived municipality management but sets the standard for public and private courses alike. If you are a golfer, excuse the few tee boxes under repair (I know it has been years, but grass don’t grow well in the shade), and prepare yourself for the fastest, and toughest, greens outside of yearly memberships. But, if you find yourself inclined, memberships are available to fit every family. The pool and family atmosphere add to an establishment that successfully serves many markets: golfers, families of golfers, diners, weddings, and maybe you because you are still reading this. A must play if you are checking off golf courses in the area. Or, plan a round before a wedding and pack your suite in the car. Me? I like golf on a well tended course, a few cold ones afterwards, and some delectable grub. Northampton Valley delivers to everyone, firing on all cylinders. It just can’t be beat.

We had a great experience from start to finish with NVCC. We dealt with some communication issues with staff changes in the months preceding the event; however, nothing that truly affected the final wedding day outcome! Danielle helped us finalize our day-of plan! Kevin was great for item drop off and Eva really made the day go smoothly and was on top of everything the whole night. Great food and service. Went here for a wedding and event space was nice. Lots of options during the reception's cocktail hour. They walked around with pigs ina blanket, bacon wrapped scallops, mozzarella balls, pot stickers, tomato sauce with a grilled cheese wedge, chicken on a stick and some others I don't remember. Dinner was sit down and a choice of steak, chicken or vegetarian. The filet was cooked fantastic med, med rare and cut like butter and eat the same way. Chicken moist and with garlic mashed potatoes was a good meal. The vegetarian option was egg plant and was told that it was very good and a lot of food.

Food and staff were excellent. They may have been understaffed, many guests were getting their own coffee since it was not being brought to the tables. Creamer was delivered, but no coffee. Hors d'euvers were good quality and nicely seasoned. Scallops wrapped in bacon were awesome. We were here for a wedding and the staff were very efficient turning the ceremony area into the outdoor eating area.

This is coming from a Best Man's perspective. Overall, a friendly and cozy experience, great food, but some things that would make me personally look elsewhere unless they were rectified. The negative shortlist: Not a lot of privacy. The acoustics were echoey inside. Their pro-audio logistics and their hardware were unprepared for speeches. We were required to DIY a crasher out of the party. Pros: 1. Great food, 2. Some of the friendliest, attentive, and kindest staff. It was easy to get someone's attention, and I really value all their help and time. Groom really liked the staff, too. Very impressive and clean bussing, and catering skills. (Rehearsal and wedding) 3. DJ was accommodating, DJ turned down volume when we asked. Seemed to react to songs that people were dancing to, and tried to play similar-style songs to keep people moving. 4. Private bathroom stalls were awesome. Plenty of room in bathrooms for our event size. Cons (For teachable moments): 1. During the speeches, a crasher came in the front door past the staff. Crasher lied about a table seat, and the seat was not fully verified by the employee. We notified the staff-lead of it, and they told us it was our responsibility to confront and escort them out. Three Groomsmen had to waste 15+ min dealing with this. Employees helped with making sure they were gone (watching), but we had to do all the footwork of confrontation, and escorting them out. 2. Wireless mic used for speeches had excruciatingly long latency. It was like talking into an echoing... (echoing) phone... (phone). The worst seats in the house were the Bride and groom, because the house speakers were on the opposite side of the room, and I was right next to the newlyweds, so everyone near me heard every word in doubletalk. We spent months writing those speeches. This wireless mic system is subpar, and the bride and groom barely heard either of our speeches. For a start, you absolutely need a wired PA for speeches, and a boom mic for the speeches. We're holding a phone and a champagne glass, we're not supposed to hold a mic! 3. The audio from the DJ was so loud, they drowned out the whole room and sent everyone outside. They should have quality control on the room volume. At one point the room was empty, everyone was out back. People were forcing the door shut outside as soon as it opened, so they could continue conversation. The ballroom has an oval-ish top, and the echoing in the room is loud. The whole room is like a big speaker. Even on the rehearsal dinner, just talking inside the room becomes hard to hear. When you add speakers to it, everything echoes everywhere. We couldn't hold a conversation without yelling at each other at the far-end of the room. Thankfully, one of the groomsmen had asked the DJ to turn it down a little and he kindly complied. 4. Song selection was cookie-cutter. Almost nothing modern. We are family, YMCA, Spice Girls. 5. Against the wishes of the newlyweds, they didn't allow theme songs before speeches. 6. A couple fun things weren't announced. The cake cutting wasn't announced, the music kept playing even though ppl surrounded them while they cut. Everyone thought this was strange. The vases on the tables and the food on the way out weren't announced until mostly everyone already left. 7. Not a lot of privacy. Literally golfers 30 feet to the left of us Teeing-off during the ceremony. The officiant is talking about love and kindness and you hear a "TINK" off to the side. 8. During the first look photos, some absolute privileged loser on the golf course leaving for the day in their dark blue / Black 2000s sedan had the gall to stop his car and yell mean things about marriage to the bride and groom. "I wouldn't get married!", and drives away like a coward he is. Are these the kinds of individuals who populate this place? I would recommend if they had some soundproofing in their ballroom, and if their audio game was competent.

My wife and I, back in the spring, along with our kids, discussed the best way for us to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. My wife originally wanted a house party but, after checking out Northampton (I'm a golf member there), she loved the rooms and the surrounding vistas. We had different planners during our meetings and they were professional, informative, and supportive. The day of our celebration coincided with the Phillies clinching game with the Braves. Being lifelong Phillie Phans, we needed to come up with a plan on how people who wanted to could watch the game without taking away from my wife's big day. Mario, who we see on a regular basis (always a treat), located a tv that we set up in, I guess you'd call it, an overflow partial room (we booked the smallest room overlooking the 18th green, for 100 people, praying for nice weather, which allowed us to also use the beautiful patio, too...thanks, weather gods!). What can I say? From the personable, professional bartenders, to the four hustling, friendly servers, to the chef at the carving station...virtually everyone helped add to the joy of the day! Our guests were effusive in their praise! Kudos to the absolutely wonderful Eva (who helped with the tv addition), who coordinated and oversaw our day from just before the event until the very last minute. She did an incredible job! The appetizers were outstanding, the Pasta Bar and Farmers' Table were a huge hit, and the roast beef, turkey, and potato bar were simply delicious! So were the desserts! We were just overwhelmed with how well things went! Thanks to everyone at Northampton for making our special day even more so (you, too, Phils!)! Sean and Tina Kelly

I had not played here in over 20 years and I really enjoyed my new experience playing here. It is a par 70 with long challenging par 3's and some long par 4's. The course was in good condition with decent greens. I do wish more golfers would repair their divots. This is a great course for the money and my wife and I enjoyed our day. We were paired with two gentlemen that were very nice and we enjoyed their company. There is also a good restaurant if you want to get something to eat. I will be back for sure now that I am retired 🙂.

Recently worked with NVCC and Danielle specifically in looking for a wedding venue. Although in the end we found a venue that was a better fit for our needs, NVCC was by far the most attentive and engaging venue we worked with. The staff are friendly. The prices are reasonable. The site is beautiful. Although it wasn't exactly what we needed, I would still highly recommend!

We cannot say enough great things about the team at NVCC. Like many couples, we had to postpone our Wedding from 2020 to 2021 and they were so flexible and accommodating. We worked with Kate who was always responsive and helpful. We had our reception in the Northamptom Ballroom and received so many compliments. The staff were friendly and professional and the event space is beautiful. We would highly recommend this venue to other couples. The night was better than we could have ever imagined!

The staff at Northampton Valley Country Club was amazing. Our reception day was seamless! There wasn’t a moment where we didn’t have a fresh drink in hand, or offered more food! And oh my, the FOOD was to die for! Highly recommend them! They have the perfect indoor and outdoor space for amazing pictures too.

We had a fun and enjoyable 18 hole round but the highlight was visiting Tavern on Ten for lunch. We all had the Cobb Salad which was loaded with all fresh greens and vegetables. If you can think of some inclusions to the salad- they were there. Kudos to the Chef and Thank You. We will be back!

Great course. For the most part the conditions are great with the exceptions of a few tee boxes. The greens are some of the best in the area. The bar is a great place to hangout. The bar staff is top notch. The food is tremendous. They offer some really good happy hours on the weekends. Did I mention how great the bar staff is.

My husband and I got married here Friday August 28th and we cannot say enough good things about this venue. Kate Conville was our consultant and she went above and beyond for us every step of the way. Our wedding was originally scheduled for May 1, but with COVID we had to postpone to August and she did everything to make sure we had the best day ever. The whole process was such a great experience and so refreshing. In such a hard time they did whatever they could to make it better for us. When it came time for our wedding on the 28th they were phenomenal. The NVCC staff truly did everything they could to allow us to have a great day. We can not recommend this venue enough. If you want a wonderful experience and a beautiful wedding, NVCC is where to book! Thank you Kate and NVCC staff for an AMAZING experience and an even better wedding day!

Brand new carts. Very green looking course. Greens were in good shape. Sand traps were inconsistent, I would imagine the traps will get better as the season moves on. Driving range did not have any yardage poles to aim for while warming up. Overall price is too high. Course IS in good shape with a couple of altered tee boxes and ground under repair. Just played this course again...a month later. Sand traps are not great and have not gotten better since last played. Greens were fast, no altered tee boxes, and course is in fine shape.

Planning a wedding during a pandemic is not easy but NVCC made sure our wedding was a special day. I can't speak highly enough of their flexibility when it came to postponing, back up plans if we had to postpone a second time, and using their resources to find us a tent just 8 days before the wedding when we had to move our indoor wedding to outdoors due to new restrictions. We worked with Kate and she always made sure to answer our questions. NVCC was very accommodating when it came to the menu because we had guests with gluten-free, dairy-free, and peanut allergies and even went the extra step to have signs at each station stating what was in it and which allergies couldn't eat it. We really appreciated that extra step! Leigh was our Maitre'D and she was wonderful! She was always there when I needed something and I felt comfortable asking her for something. The staff was great at cleanup, making sure to pack up all our stuff so it was one less thing we had to do at the end of the night. It was such a beautiful wedding despite all the circumstances that worked against us and I highly recommend them!

Short, tight course. Generally the fairways and greens are in good condition. A few of the bunkers need some help. No complaints other than occasional confusion on booking tee times. Recently, that had me booked as a fivesome. Friendly staff and are very accommodating.

The course is a fun layout, but for the condition it's in not worth the price they charge. Would be five stars without the crabgrass everywhere, inconsistent greens, horrible bunker conditions, and rough so deep you can barely find your ball.

We had our wedding on 04/01 in the Crystal Ballroom and it could not have been more perfect. From the moment we decided to have our reception at Northampton, Matt guided and helped us every step of the way. He was quick to respond, very attentive to all my questions and needs, and made us feel like we were his number one priority. He made the planning stress free and so much fun. The service the staff provided was beyond our expectations. From Shawna our Maître De, assisting us on the day of, to the wait staff and bartenders, everyone was so professional and friendly. All of our guests commented on the excellent service they received. Last but not least, the food. When we picked Northampton, one of the main reasons was because the food is amazing. They did not disappoint us. From the cocktail hour to the entrees, everything was delicious. Guests told us it was one of the best steaks they have ever had. Everything was done to perfection. We cannot thank Northampton enough for making our wedding, the best day of our lives!

I was there for a wedding. First off outside almost dark and no lights and almost dark by ceremony ended. Hard to see the ceremony. If u had issues with steps was difficult to get to where wedding was at back part of building. I was lucky a guest helped me up the steps. Food was very good.

We had our wedding here many years ago. We were against country clubs but they did such a great job making it a great celebration. I'm sure the guard has changed by now but I would check it out for any large celebration needs.

Our wedding at the Northampton Valley Country Club couldn't have been more PERFECT!! We were so impressed with how professional everyone was. The staff made sure everyone had what they needed and if they didn't they would get it for them right away. The food was amazing. The room and tables looked so nice. It definitely was my fairy tail, princess wedding. They all made it so special. Through the whole process I dealt with Alexis Sklar, she was my go to. She helped me every step of the way. She always got back to me right away and guided me through everything. There was never a moment I was confused or didn't know what was going on. She is awesome and so good at her job. We looked around and around for the perfect venue for our 10/24/15 wedding and stopped once we found NVCC. From the contract being signed to picking up items after the wedding, they have always been quick to respond and flexible with their time. Brigid was ALWAYS available for questions, big or small and they were very open for you to come in to check something out in the room if an event wasn't going on. I heard from multiple guests the food was awesome and the service was five stars. I felt like a queen the night of as the servers were very attentive and always looking to help in any way. It was a perfect day!

So I want to start off by saying this review DOES NOT reflect the quality of this course. Course was in pretty great condition, couple of beat up spots on green but aside from this course was excellent, loved the layout too. My issue came was when we got kicked off the course before it was dark because they were shutting down? Our tee time was at 420pm we were on hole 16 at 750 (group in front of us was slow) and they kicked everyone off the course to shut down. I've never even seen something like this happen. Edit: I've played this course several times since the initial review. I've had a great experience everytime since then which is why I'm changing my review.

My now husband and I got married here on June 8th, 2018. It was more than we could ever have imagined. Everyone loved the food and how smoothly everything went. Brigid is amazing and I'm so glad we got to work with her throughout everything. I highly recommend NVCC!! You will NOT regret it. The outside is a great place for wedding photos.

The absolute PERFECT wedding venue. My husband and I just got married at NVCC a few weeks ago. From the very beginning of the planning, the staff at Northampton were all so sweet and accommodating. Our budget was pretty low, but they worked with us so we could get the fairytale wedding without the fairytale bill! I'm certain that our wedding looked far more expensive than it was. I recommend getting married on a Sunday, or even a Friday! Kacey was so great to work with. She was always so happy and excited to speak with us! Not a single question or suggestion went unacknowledged; We complicated the menu with a shellfish-allergy, gluten-sensitivity, and vegetatians amongst our guests, but the catering crew took it all in stride, and never made us felt bad for asking for adjustments. Beyond the people, the venue itself is lovely too. The grounds made for some fantastic scenery, and the ballrooms are both so classy without needing any decorations. I did almost nothing to decorate the reception, and it was still beautiful. We also had our ceremony on the grounds, in the gazebo right outside the reception room. It was so convenient being able to walk right in and start cocktail hour right after the ceremony! They do allow more than more wedding at once, which night seem like a negative, however, the two rooms are completely separated. They don't even share an entrance! We had no issues running into the other wedding when we were there. We wouldn't have even seen them if we didn't walk past the windows when we were out getting pictures! Truly, I have only good things to say about NVCC. The venue was lovely, the food was great (even my VERY picky extended family gave rave reviews afterwards!), and everyone I spoke to was so sweet. We couldn't have chosen a better place to get married 😊

If you are looking for a wedding venue, you need to check this place out. We spent months finding the perfect place and we are so glad we booked Northampton. Our wedding was absolutely perfect and nothing went wrong. Alexis is extremely helpful, organized, and flexible. She was able to meet with us multiple times. Robin, our Mairtre D, always made sure we were comfortable, ready, and had a drink in our hand. She paid close attention to us. Our power went out for five seconds, but they had a back-up generator. The power went out at other venues that night but they did not have a generator so the weddings were put on hold for over an hour. The place itself is beautiful and we got the most wonderful pictures. The prices are fair. The service is absolutely the best. They were able to serve over 180 people salad and a dinner in under 90 minutes. Everyone loved the food. We recommend to get the lighting and the ice luge. Northampton works with an awesome florist and baker. At the end of the night, they packed everything up for us and we were ready to roll. If we ever were to renew our vows, we would totally go back there. Wish we could relive our wedding there over and over again!

After looking at several venues to hold our wedding ceremony & reception, we knew when we walked into Northampton that we found the perfect place. Brigid worked with us from day 1 on all the details of our wedding and she was very responsive to all of our questions. We were so happy with how everything turned out on our wedding day. We brought lots of decorations to have set up and Brigid knew exactly how we wanted everything to look and ended up being perfectly displayed. Before the ceremony began, Brigid and Lee checked on us in the bridal suite to make sure we were all comfortable. Even after our ceremony, the staff brought drinks and hor d'oeuvres for as long as we were in the bridal suite. We are still getting compliments from our guests on our venue choice and they are still talking about how fabulous the food was and how impeccable the service is.

Course was in good shape and is pretty fun to play; especially for the price and it being a public course. However, the starters do a bad job of spacing people out or the front office is booking way too many tee times on the weekends. As a result the pace of place is very slow during any remotely popular day. The last 2 times I have played here on the weekend, my round times were 5 hours 40 minutes and 5 hours 15 mins due to the amount of group's in front of us which is just unreasonably slow. Very frustrating waiting on every hole and puts a damper on what is a pretty good public course. They either need to become stricter enforcing the pace of play or book less tee times to improve the enjoyment for everyone.

From our first meeting with NVCC we knew this is where we wanted to get married. The service, attention to detail, food, and overall atmosphere were outstanding! We have had so many compliments on our wedding and it hasn’t even been a full 24 hours after. Our server Kevin and our Maitre d Dominique were absolutely fantastic and knew what we needed without us even asking. Brigid was amazing and took care of us from first meeting to our big night. You truly will not have a better experience anywhere else. I highly recommend NVCC and am so grateful for how wonderful they made our wedding.

Maintenance did as good as they could. After 1 inch or more of rain last night some of greens, fairways and tees little soggy. Tee box's little beat up as expected. Crabgrass prevalent in a few tees. Overall not a bad round but little bit expensive to ride 18. Need larger trash receptacles.

From the moment we toured Northampton Valley Country Club I knew it was the venue for us. Matt was knowledgeable and excited while showing us around. The minute we booked I was comforted with the idea that he was there for whatever we needed. I had many questions and ideas to run by him through the planning process and Matt answered each one quickly and with ideas or suggestions of his own. The day of our wedding was more then we could have ever dreamed of. The weather did not cooperate well and we had to change our vision of getting married on the patio to an indoor ceremony. You would have never known this wasn't the original plan. Everything came together smoothly and within min. the Crystal Ballroom was transformed to the most beautiful ceremony space. Immediately following the ceremony, we were greeted by Nicole and Lee in the bridal suite with drinks and snacks. They were there for us all night long without having to ask for a single thing. We didn't have the opportunity to have cake during the reception but there were 2 pieces wrapped and waiting for us when we left at the end of the night. To sum it all up, We heard amazing reviews from our guests about the food, staff, and atmosphere. If we had to do it all over again, NVCC would be our number one choice. Coming from a bride who is very detail oriented and that had a vision of what the perfect day would be..... NVCC perfectly captured it all. I was truly blown away.

Excellent place for a wedding. The service was great and the food was out of this world. The only downside to this is parking, however if there isn't many playing golf you'll have no issues. Nevertheless this place was beautiful inside and everyone was so kind. You'll have an excellent time here if you plan anything.

I cannot say enough good things about Northampton. From start to finish, they do an amazing job. The grounds are beautiful, the food is phenomenal, the options are limitless, and the service is great! It is also an affordable option as compared with most other venues we priced out in the area, especially considering all the package includes. We got married on a Friday, which helped as well, but there are a variety of options for price per head you can look into regardless of your date. My husband and I initially met with Matt, one of the catering managers, who wound up helping us through all aspects of our wedding. We think of Matt as a friend now definitely! He came out before leaving his office the night of the wedding to talk to my parents, husband, and I and to see we were happy with everything. There is differently a personal element and high degree of care put into a wedding thrown here. We also met with Alexis and Brigid as well, who were both fantastic! Alexis had the joy of helping label all my disorganized wedding crafts at my pre wedding appointment and was a real trooper. I could name several instances, but, the long and short of it is that this team goes above and beyond the call of duty, even at one point having a somewhat unnecessary meeting with us to distract my parents when my family threw them a surprise 30th anniv. Party. There is a lot of flexibility with the options and decor, which I enjoyed in planning. You can definitely walk in and say you want a standard package and not add too much to it, or you can add lots of additional elements and they will make notes and incorporate them just as you both want on your wedding day- or a mix!. We planned the wedding from a couple hours out of town, so there were some things we just pointed at colors for and handed over to the catering team's best judgment (flower centerpieces and place settings, for example ) and there were others, like place cards and decor for the gift table where I wanted to use crafts and personal touches, which they put together with the other elements beautifully. Northampton has a team of vendors they use for weddings and a list of recommended vendors for other services (such as DJ, hotels, etc). Their bakery and florists both did a great job with the cake and centerpieces, so I would say to definitely trust their recommendations. I also wound up using their florist for my bridesmaid and bridal bouquets (Domenic Grazianos) in Southampton. The best thing about Northampton is definitely the people- the servers the day of our wedding were attentive, quick, and really nice. They make sure as the bride and groom you eat and have plated food at your table, even with a buffet (which we went with). Nicole was especially helpful the day of our wedding. Walt, our bartender, made an awesome signature drink and was very personable to all of our guests. The grounds are gorgeous for pictures, so I definitely recommend utilizing them some. I slightly regret our timeline getting crunched and not using them a bit more, so I would say to try and allot an hour or so if you want a great backdrop in that regard. All in all, we highly recommend Northampton Valley CC. When I began wedding planning, we thought of eloping and then decided to see what was out there/possible and I am so glad we did because the whole team- wait staff, servers, bartenders, managers, you name it- really worked to make it one of the best days of our life. I played the course in April, after a long, hard winter, so take this review in that light. This was my first time playing NVCC and I have to say - I was impressed - it seems like a great value for the quality of play. The course has plenty of challenges without being penal. You've got some woods, plenty of water and lots of sand. But if you keep your shots more-or-less on target, you'll be fine. The greens are relatively small (compared to the massive greens at Makefield) and very fast - probably the fastest that I've played in the area. However, this might be because it was early-season when I played. Because of this, and the size of the greens, I found them quite challenging. NVCC is also very walkable since it doesn't have a huge amount of elevation, it makes for a pleasant day. I'd definitely return to play again and hope that my next experience is as good as my first.

I'm indifferent about this course. Greens were being aerated during the round, so maybe the difficult to predict putting conditions lead me to give only 3 stars. Some greens were waaaaay too fast, others not so much. Some bare spots in the rough and bunkers weren't raked in my early April 2019 round.

On Saturday May 6th 2017, my daughter was married at Northampton Valley CC. From the moment we arrived Bridget our host was very organized and on top things. The ceremony was originally set to be on the patio but due to the fickle weather it was moved indoor without as much as a hiccup. The entire evening went down flawlessly from the tasty hors d'oeuvres, timely drinks brought to our table to the sumptuous filet entrée. The servers were friendly and accommodating. Everyone had a great time and my wife and I would definitely recommend this wedding venue.

It was Beautiful!!! They were Awesome at being able to accommodate when the weather changed and it went from an outdoor wedding to indoor. I only had to state my allergy 1 time then they brought a complete medium hors d'oeuvre tray with a sample of everything and I just declined the salad so they did not have to go through extra trouble at dinner. The menu choices and preparations were very remarkable. The Service was Outstanding.
