2nd time here. A mix of links and parkland style. Winds were pretty stiff, 20-30 mph. Tight fairways and run up areas allow for low shots. Green's in good shape, and quick.

The north course at bayou oaks is the best bang for your buck in the city for golf. If you go at twilight the rates are unbeatable even if you rent a cart. It's a great course with decent greens and great views and scenery. There's also a good chance you'll see gators, hawks and other cool local wildlife. The driving range is also fairly priced and has a mix of grass and mats for you to hit off of. I highly recommend going here for holes or the range.

We drove from Oklahoma to Florida and played 36 holes a day on the way spending 3 nights in New Orleans. We really enjoyed the course! We played TPC Louisiana, English turn, and then here at Bayou Oaks south and wow we were impressed for this hidden gem. The greens were comparable to the others and the course was a great course for such a budget friendly place. We definitely wouldn’t think twice about coming back. I also ended up leaving a speaker on the course that night because our cart died and we walked out but they were nice enough to go above and beyond and ship it back to me in Oklahoma. I really appreciate Matt W. the general manager for all the help in getting this done. Thanks again!

At best this experience was a 3.5. The course was badly marshaled and single golfers were interwoven between foursomes. For the price they charge course management could be better. It is ok but not the best in town by any means.

This course is fun and easy to play. Nothing too complicated but it is especially nice during this time of year when you can slow okay it and enjoy the scenery. Well manicured and fairly reliable times as everyone who comes here is courteous. Would play a round here any day.

This is a nice course. Not pristine, but fun to play on. We did 9 holes and had a blast. There were clumps of grass left in the fairways and here and there lost a couple balls that way. Really friendly people at the clubhouse and talk to a few staff members on the course, and everyone was super friendly. We played the North Course so it wasn't too expensive. Carts are electric and have GPS and yardage information on screen.

Absolutely beautiful course. Only thing is It wouldn't let me find the course on my gps. Watch. It did have a gps on the cart. But when its cart path only it's hard to get a true yardage. Greens were good and very fast even after a hard rain. Staff was good and helpful in the pro shop. Ladies at the bar were very nice.

This is a fun course. It is wide open with enough water, trees, and bunkers to make it a fun challenge. There is not much shade on the course and almost non near the tee boxes so, bring plenty of sunscreen. The golf carts are unreliable and that can be really frustrating, but other than that the course is a fun, open play.

Absolutely Fabulous Golf Course! Fantastic Oaks surround the course making the most beautiful scenery. A must play if you're in the New Orleans Area.

The North Course was in much better condition than I thought it would be. Still not great, considering the rainy winter we have had, it was better than expected. Greens were in good shape and rolled true.

I spent a morning on the front 9 with my brother and we had a great time. The greens were in great shape. Staff was very friendly. No better way to spend a warm morning.

The South Course is GREAT! Improvements needed: (1) The course needs yardage markers installed on the course when playing days require cart path only. This will speed up play and make the round more enjoyable. (2) Sand traps need additional sand (bottoms). 6-5-2017

A bit too flat, needed more contour in the design (even in this flat region). The clubhouse is too small. Sophisticated live music (jazz trio) would add to evening dining and draw guests from nearby neighborhoods. I still give it a five-star rating ... I'd just like to see it even better. Available rounds on GolfNow would also be recommended

The course is way over priced for its distance and the shape it is in. I can play at Grand Ridge, which is longer, more difficult and prettier for $27.00 any day of the week. I played the North Course every Monday, have not since they went up on price. I can only imagine what the New course at City Park is going to cost.

New south course is a great layout, greens are pure and fair (hopefully people will repair their ball marks and take care of them a lot of indentations already a week after opening), placement of the oaks causes it to play long but provides multiple tees provides a challenge to everyone in our foursome

Today was cart-path only, due to all the rain. The greens were firm, dry, and fast (surprisingly)! The fairways were mucky in some areas, but playable.

Cool spot I discovered while waiting on my wife to finish a leg of her marathon! Young guy working it was very polite and even let me borrow some clubs for the range. Range had nice mats and plenty spaces, with a cool 2nd story you don't see everywhere. Recommend!

All Dry

First one thing i will have to say is we are members here and Will & staff always greet us by name. It makes you feel good when you get treated well. Secondly i love the south course, i have only been playing for 6 months and i like the challenge. The greens are fast but not Too hard to overcome. The fairways are in really good shape also & this course has really good drainage as opposed to the north course that puddles fairly easy & sucks up your ball. We play here consistently. Thanks Will.

Wide open course. Not much excitement but the course is well maintained. The clubhouse is nice also. The problem is the price. $99 for this course is way too much. $40 would be more appropriate.

Cart paths in dire need of repairs. Came up on one and didnt notice, went over it ,almost fail off the cart. Greens need improvement. Totally, grounds are nice

Waitresses were so nice and my kids didn't want to go on the course so the Waitresses watched them inside!
