Great muni! Easy to get on and well taken care of. Staff can be a little power trip prone but generally friendly. Usually wide open but pace of play can come to a standstill if you get behind some locals who fancy themselves tour pros. The executive course is also worth a look if you can’t play the 18 hole course. You can play every club in your bag despite it being a shorter course.

Nice course, but a 4 player group held up 2 singles for the whole back 9 from playing through, not very fun taking 2 1/2 hours playing 9 holes.

Friendly staff. Could use a bit more meaningful landscape though. Most of the course is completely flat will little trees. It's also right next to the Smyrna Airport, which doesn't help in achieving the peaceful golfing atmosphere most courses have.

Foot Golf Review: It's tough to be too hard on a golf course that just happens to offer Foot Golf. But, they are associated with the AFGL. If you've never been, you're sharing tee boxes with classic golfers (they probably hate this) and you're kicking at the white numbered flags. The holes are well placed with a good layout but they aren't well tended to. Most if not all were stuffed with leaves and also feature a drop ledge, where the ball can (and does) get stuck between the ground and the plastic hole liner (cup). If these were taken care of like a golf hole, the cup would be just below ground level, where the ball could roll in. These ledges, when the ball gets stuck in them makes scoring a bit odd. For the money, I'd rather play classic golf.

Foot golf was great! Facilities were simple, but very clean. Mosquitos are horrible! Don't forget your bug spray!

It’s okay. It’s a municipal course. And if you keep that in mind you’ll be fine. Clubhouse employees are good to downright rude depending on what time you come. 9 bucks for a bucket of balls is standard. 40 for a midweek tee time is ridiculous.

It's one of the nicest municipal courses I've played in the mid-state area. Fairways and greens are in excellent shape and bunkers have DRAMATICALLY improved in just the past few years. Has a great 9-hole, par 3, executive course for beginners or guys just wanting to get a quick round in and the 18-hole course is a good balance of challenging and easy.

Helpful staff. Reasonable prices. My son participated in The First Tee Program there last summer. It was a good experience for him, and it enables him to walk the executive course free of charge for an entire year after the course ends. He is on his school golf team, so we were there for his matches recently. The cart rental for that is lower than any other courses we play matches at, which is nice when you have at least three matches a week.

Over the past four weeks I have had to bring my son to Smyrna each week for some classes at the TRC to help his transition from High School to College. While he was at the classes I decided to play golf at Smyrna Golf Course. I played at least 9 holes each day of the 4 weeks and have to say it was an awesome experience. The course was in good shape, greens in great shape, and the customer service from the attendant at the Pro Shop was EXCELLENT!!! The young at the Pro Shop was kind, courteous, a pleasure to deal with, and exemplified great customer service skills!!! Thank you all very much!!!

I have been playing this course for at least 20 years because it is close. The greens are always in awesome shape. The fairways however are usually in bad shape. They always seem to cut them too low so bald spots and thin lies are the norm. I wish someone could show them how to raise the mower deck and let the fairways grow some.

Fun course, there were a couple of areas that looked like they have been under repair for sometime. But they had a smooth operation even with how busy it was on the weekend. The back 9 was a lot more fun than the front 9, but the whole course has a cool layout.

Wonderful staff. Those arnt the two stars I put up there. As for the course and it's management, it seems non existent over the last 8 months. I have grown up in Smyrna and have always enjoyed this course. But I won't be back for a while... I lost golf balls I drove down the fairway on Father's day. Potentially the most golfed on day of the year and the course hadn't been cut in weeks. Sad. Edit... It's 2019 and the course is in great shape. Greens are great fairways are fair but for a municipal over golfed course they were great five stars because they have turned it around and seem to be caring about the course and golfers again

First time I've ever played there. Got paired with an awesome couple. Good course for ppl that don't always hit the fairway, especially me. Would be 5 stars but the ppl that work in the pro shop and concessions were a little stand offish. Besides that I would definitely play here again.

My group plays this track roughly 15 times a year. It is a nice course to walk. Front nine is a bit pedestrian but the back nine is full of challenges. Greens can be some of the best in Nashville when they are cut. Course drains well and all greens are raised. Would give 5 stars if the fairways were more consistent. Overseeding might do the trick but I do understand the cost.

This city course is the course I like when I feel like walking the course. It is an 18 hole course and has a 9 hole par 3 course also. There is a Foot Golf course witch I have not checked out yet. They offer a Senor Rate here. The staff is somewhat helpful but does not seem to be interested in getting to know you. But all in all it is a nice course to play if you want to just jump on without a tee time.

The staff was absolutely wonderful and made me feel welcome from the moment I walked in. I played the executive course and it was in very good condition and I really enjoyed the layout, so much so that I played it again. One of the best golf experiences I've ever had.

My home course. Very forgiving (which I need). Prices are ok and the course is always in good shape. I organized a tournament last year and they actually pay you back so much in gift cards per player in your tournament. (for prizes). We have a group that plays every Tuesday afternoon. I look forward to that day.

Not a difficult course. Friendly staff. The grounds not as kept as they were in past. Items sold in shop very reasonably. 9- 05-19 the were in very good shape much better than some other courses I recently played.

One of the best ranges and practice greens around. Brand new balls and you can hit all clubs without a problem. Friendly staff and great clubhouse. I would recommend this course to anyone.

I play there regularly. Greens are small, so not easy to reach. That is good. The greens are extremely well kept. That is good. The staff is great. That is good. So what is bad? They have way too many "cart path only" days. Not so great for seniors. Not at all.

Jason doesn't know what he is talking about. The bare spots were left over 'winter kill' that all the courses around here suffered this year. Water pooled in the fairways and then froze, duh, that kills Bermuda. Absolutely nothing you can do about it. You were being 'stalked' by a ranger........you know, one of those guys who keeps traffic moving so the rest of us don't have to suffer thru a 5 hour round caused by idiots driving carts thru sandtraps and too close to the greens because they are to absorbed by all the beer they have been drinking. Golf doesn't have to be an all day event if you know what you are doing............and rangers are there to gently educate the novices about pace of play. The staff is great. Period. I am guessing that Jason couldn't break 90 on a putt-putt course.
