The Saddle Creek Golf Course, staff, and head golf pro and general manager Brandon Jones are phenomenal. I had a great Sunday afternoon round and couldn't have had a better experience with the staff and course personnel. I was welcomed with a friendly smile from the Joe and Mckinley and immediately provided with a clean and charged golf cart as well as range balls for my round. The course was in great shape considering they just aerated their greens. I am from Washington D.C., and here on business in Huntsville and heard about this course through some local friends and I would strongly recommend it to anyone local or passing through. I can't to play again.

One of the great course designs in middle Tennessee. I am past 80:years of age and still loving to play here as there are tees for every age and every handicap. Always in immaculate condition from the large practice area to the course. And I might add the SC staff is also great. Fall golf here has been spectacular! Thanks to the course staff for giving us such a wonderful place to play.

(Updated 8/32/22): Staff is friendly and courteous. The course is in very good shape. The greens are a bit slower in the summer, but that's understandable in the summer heat. They roll very nice. The fairways are in very good shape and what you'd expect from a "higher-end" public course. It's a fair and challenging layout. The fairways are still in great shape. The greens are bent (vs Bermuda), but they have held up very well from the extreme heat we've had this summer. There's plenty of water to drink and there's always someone going around selling food and drinks when you need it. There always seems to be a staff member driving around checking things out to keep the pace of play going. It's mosquito season, but the staff keeps a bottle of "OFF!" repellent on the counter for patrons to use, which I thought was a very nice gesture. I still think the course should post their rates on their website in an "easy-to-access" location to make it easier for golfers looking for places to play, but that's just my opinion. Other than that, I have no complaints about the course.

I play this course 4-5x a year. I've always enjoyed it but was a little disappointed in the shape of certain greens over the last few years. However, I played for the first time this year today and the whole course was amazing. Probably the best shape I've ever seen it. Props to management, I will definitely be back soon.

I always enjoy playing here and this place has really improved over the last few years. It’s the end of May and the greens are really coming into their own, the fairways are great, and overall the course is groomed wonderfully! I drive from Williamson Co—where there are myriad choices of courses to play—but the staff and amenities at this public course are really wonderful. One word on the restaurant: It’s nice to have a golf course restaurant with an actual chef. The food here is always great and it tastes like they actually care. Everything on the menu is great and the staff are enthusiastic and pro. I’m really happy that Saddle Creek is there for all of us to play!

There’s a reason this place is ranked the 3rd best public course in TN. The staff are very friendly and accommodating, the course is well maintained, and it’s great for beginners, while also having challenges for the seasoned golfers. All that, and that have very fair pricing. 10/10 would recommend.

Great lay out, super friendly staff and a fun golfing experience! The only reason it wasn’t 5 stars is the greens were just coming back, so they weren’t rolling as true as they probably do later in the year. It was late March and they were a little shaggy… All in all I would play here again in a heartbeat.

Fairways and greens were in excellent shape. All traps have been re-done with very consistent sand. Staff always makes you feel like a member. Well worth 35-40 minute drive from Franklin. It is so much easier to drive south of Nashville than north. For my money Saddle Creek is the best golf value in middle Tennessee.

Friendly staff. Good rental clubs. Easy to book. Great restaurant food and service. I don’t know what else I should say. Condition of the course is decent. The cart trail will be a little confusing for 1st timer. We are lucky to play with some gentlemen who have come before.

First time playing this course. Very nice to have good signage to each hole, as course wanders quite a bit. Greens were in great shape. Fairways a bit thin, but ok for this time of year. Layout has plenty of variety.

I have been playing Saddle Creek golf course for almost 2 years now . When I first started playing there It was ok but nothing worth driving an extra 40 miles for . Then after about after 6 months I noticed changes in the course the place was buzzing with workers everywhere emails were being sent not only thanking for my business but wanting my opinion on what I thought of the course . After 2 years of playing I will honestly say it is hard to believe this is the same course I first visited 2 years earlier. I can hardly wait to play there again soon . First time playing this course. Interesting layout, very playable. Greens were in relatively good shape. A few forced carries over water on par 3s, but manageable. Beware of the creek that comes into play on several holes, so know your distance. Doglegs on a couple holes require accurate shots off the tee. Will definitely play again!

Well manicured course with smooth true rolling greens. White tees a tough test @ 6300 yards, golds 5800. Creek runs thru course and several well placed large ponds keeps your aim at premium. Staff awesome in both proshop and restaurant/bar.

Really enjoyed playing at Saddle Creek Golf club on Saturday, May 30th. The new ownership has made so many improvements to the golf course which made the experience 5 star. The pace of play was right at 4 hours, the greens were outstanding and the fairways were coming in very nicely. We live in Franklin so the 35 minute drive was well worth the experience. We will play here again real soon. Thanks for such a great experience, Keep up the the progress!!!!

I last played Saddle Creek in 2018 and vowed to not come back. The greens were all in terrible shape, the tee boxes had weeds and the fairways were a mess. After reading a few reviews saying the course was under new management and they were making investments I decided to give the course another shot. Let me just say I am so happy that I did come back. It starts with amazing service from Brandon and his staff. Everyone was so welcoming. I noticed on the first tee that the course was so much more green and the improvement in the greens is amazing. I thought they rolled a little slow but so true and much better shape. There is still room for improvement but I will definitely be back.

Even with all the rain we’ve had, the fairways were not too wet. The greens were growing in nicely (aerated the week before I played) and putting wasn’t affected.

The course is in great shape. The best I've ever seen it. But the grille not opening until 11:00 on Saturdays is almost a deal breaker. It would be nice if you are turning at 10:00am and its 93 degrees and humid to get a cold drink, ice, or something. COME ON MAN!

Great golfing experience.... clean, quite, brand new carts that held the charge all 18 holes.. friendly staff... no complaints here. I will be returning with my friends. I am a spring hill resident definitely worth the drive a lot closer than expected.

The course is in good shape, the price is right (best in the area!) Fantastic food in the bar and grill. Staff is always friendly and helpful. I've never encountered a pace of play issue on this course. I drive from Spring Hill to play it, easy pick compared to Kings Creek which is an overpriced, poorly designed course, with "I could care less" staff, and no bar and grill, and a pace of play black hole. Why a lot of people have moved their membership from Kings Creek to Saddle Creek. Birdies to Greg and his staff!
