This is not a reflection of the course or the facility because it is nice, but more of a warning for people playing here. The people that live in the houses along the course are not friendly, so if you are more of a beginner and know you will be hitting out of bounds maybe more than you’d like I wouldn’t suggest this course or just be prepared to not get your balls back even if they are in sight. Thanks!

This course seems to continue to go downhill. Played is many times but today the fairways were so bad. Globs of grass clippings everywhere. Poor drainage and a few beat up greens.

This is one of the regular courses that I play. I like it because it's relatively inexpensive: greens fees + cart + small bucket for $60. That being said, it's a public muni course, so it's not going to blow your mind. I am giving it 5 stars, however, because it is great value. The course is in very good shape considering how inexpensive it is to play here. My one complaint is that the greens are on the slow side and there are some dead spots, but the course is well-kept altogether. If you're not expecting Gaylord Springs or Hermitage, you shouldn't be disappointed. Happily, Clayton Cohn

Good course... Played it a couple of times in early spring and it was in decent shape considering the cold/wet weather in the area. Greens were good.

Many improvements have been made to the course and continue. I read complaints about pace of play but hey, that’s every course I’ve been on. If you play enough you will see it everywhere. The greens are well maintained, the fairways are starting to green up and looking good. I personally take no sand back to the club house, if everyone repaired and extra divot the fairways would be perfect. Tee boxes, yep, some are rough, but as the Bermuda grows, this will improve. The course has multiple tee boxes to challenge all golfers, the par 3s are challenging and the greens make you think about the putts. Many of the greens are actually tough to make putts because of the contours. In the end, it’s a public course, it gets lots of play and for me it is perfect.

Greens rolled good, although a few of them had dead spots. Good, challenging and fun course with a few tight fairways, some bunkers and water holes. Pace of play wasn't the best; even with a starter, it took about 5 hours for a group of 4. I will come back on a week day and play again

Pretty good golf course in Murfreesboro. Challenging on some holes, easy on others. Could be kept in better shape. All things considered an enjoyable course.

Really good public course for the price. Can be challenging if you want it to be, but it’s still fun and manageable for the average golfer. The fairways, rough, and tee boxes were all in great shape. The greens were good, but we played in the afternoon so they were pretty beat up with spike marks by the time we teed off. If people would fix their ball marks and not drag their feet on the greens they could be great instead of just good. I gave 4 stars because of the pace of play (like many others have mentioned). We were a foursome and were still having to wait 5-10 minutes on every single shot because of the group in front of us was so slow. They were 3-4 holes behind the group in front of them and holding everyone up. Having a Marshall ride around to monitor groups like that would be an easy solution, but the course doesn’t have one. Just be mindful you’ll be looking at a 5 hour round if you play here.

Other than the extremely rude clubhouse manager, it was a fun course. First time playing the course and was worried it wouldn't be fun after having to deal with the older man at the clubhouse, but don't let him set the expectations for the rest of the course. Other than that, the course was well kept, course marshalls were friendly, and my buddies and I had a good time.

Very very tight. Ob on one side and houses on the other. Great layout though. I walk and this is not for walkers unless you do it with friends like I do. You will have to catch a ride between 4 and 5, and between 7 and 8. Doesn't drain great after a big rain but still a fun course. If you play around 9 am you will have to deal with a train right next to hole 1, 2 and 3 making all sorts of racket. On the weekend it is very busy but the staff is very frendly and they have carts with food and drinks making their way around the course. I prefer Old Fort but when I can't get a tee time there Indian Hills is a good second option. I recommend it but just understand the drawbacks.

Had a great day at this Golf Course. Everyone there was very pleasant and Friendly. I have bad legs so I requested a handicap flag gentleman in club house got me one and I ask one question on there policy concerning it. Now the course it self the greens were top notch some of the best I have played all year! The rest had good fairway's I would say in about one more week they will plush . Price rang a good deal ! We will be back to this one again this year! In my opinion go play this one you won't be disappointed!

I played this course last weekend. It is a fun and challenging layout. The staff was friendly and courteous. The course offers a nice driving range and putting green for practice. I look forward to coming back later in the spring.

This is a fun course to play. I think at times, they have it a little over priced for the condition the course has been in, but still a fun course to play. The staff is usually pretty friendly as well. I've played this course at least 20+ times and it always seems to play at a nice speed too. No 5 hr rounds or anything crazy like that.

A good layout but almost NO yardage markers on the fairways or cart paths. Come on it's pretty easy to mark them!! Greens really quick.

Cant beat the price 11.25 for 9 holes, it has temporary greens right now, so yardage is almost impossible to gauge, but the weather was great and being outside was outstanding.
