Reviews of Columbia Golf Learning Center
Convenient location, solid range. Never really had an issue with the upkeep and they just replaced all the balls a month or two ago. It's been annoying that they are cash only, but the staff are nice and I've never had a problem getting a spot.
Nice low key driving range. Full length shots with 4 pins to aim for. Chipping and putting but no bunker to practice from.
Most of the balls are cracked and crusty, its time for some new balls, there are no yardage markers so no idea how far I am hitting any of my irons, could use a toilet out there also, but other a good place to hit balls
Just showed up to the range and they are “cash only”, again. This is the second time it’s happened and there are no postings anywhere. Be mindful if you show up to the range
Solid prices, being in the midst of Minneapolis - I think you get about (80) balls for $11.95, and the balls are really in good shape and all hitable. It's also grass tee boxes for a very golf like feel. Typically not too busy, and they have at least 20 tee boxes to hit from, so you're usually always capable of getting a spot. The ONLY reason I am giving 4 stars, and not 5 is because utilizing their automatic ball dispenser can be a tad confusing at times, and doesn't always like to work properly - they'd be best suited to get a new golf ball disbersement system.
Due to social distancing, get there early. We got there at 4 on a Thursday and had no problems walking right up to an open spot. By the time we left, there were about 15 people waiting to practice. I was surprised by the amount of hacked up golf balls that came out of the machine. It seemed to be about 5 out of the 100, and there were piles of broken balls near the tee boxes.
Hitting off grass, the box is in good shape. Putting green is in great shape and it will challenge all skill levels
I recommend this place to go for a crash course on hitting Golf balls and learn how to swing the clubs too. Review Score: 10 / 10
Very nice practice range the practice green has all challenges of putting.
Great place for private lessons. Well spaced out.
Great place to hit some balls in the city
