One of the weirdest places I've ever been. It's part bar, part mini golf, part team building exercise (read: engineering / throwing together / building a mini-golf course). I think they have a great concept going and really hope that things continue to go well for them. If you're vacationing in the area it's definitely a place to stop at if you're looking for a completely different and unique experience. The staff seem quite passionate about the experience, and gave us some good pointers on enhancing our course when it was in the design stage.

This place is really cool! It is an awesome concept and defiantly stands out as something unique and fun to do! Did this as part of my friends bachelor party and everyone enjoyed it. Staff was great, my only real "issue" is that there was unfortunately not many other groups during our reservation time (which is just the luck of the draw), but there the holes that were made by the staff were both fun and challenging! I will definitely come back!

We held our company Holiday work party at Nine Below. I booked and planned with Taylor and everything was communicated clearly and professionally. The day of our event, Emily and Justin (and a few other bartenders) were on site and they both made sure everything was organized and went smoothly! Both Emily and Justin did a great job and continually checked in during the event to make sure we didn't need anything. Our group had around 50 people in it and we got great feedback about how fun it was! Highly recommend!

Very fun Friday date night out playing mini golf here. Super unique and didn't know what we were get into. Thought it was just mini golf. But we actually built our holes... Jamie was very funny, helpful and very attenative when showing us how. Very creative idea for a bar.

This place is awesome we didn't expect to build all of our own holes which made it a blast and an experience like none other. Jamie was the perfect coach when explaining and helping out with everything. Definitely will be paying another visit here when we are in town!!!

So much fun! The staff is really friendly and helpful. You MAKE your own golf course on Makers day, and then play through the other holes people have made. AND they have n64 and NES systems set up at the bar for you to play. And they have beer/wine/cocktails! WHAT? Come on.

Really great concept and overall was fun. But our reservation was at 10pm and they close at 11pm! So we didn't finish all of the courses. They had 4 bar tenders behind the bar that seemed in distress even though it wasn't that busy. A 1am last call and some talent behind the bar would put it over the top for me.

This has got to be the most amazing mini golf I've ever played. You and your friends get assigned a hole that you get to deck out with all sorts of cool and crazy props and then you go around and play everybody's holes. It's absolutely genius and I would highly recommend it to anyone. There is a bar in the center and it's a very casual place with drinking and golfing, but you definitely don't have to be drinking too enjoy it (I'm underage and it was still a blast). There are retro have consoles while you wait and watching people play those was even more entertaining than the sports that were playing in the background. Music is great in taste and loud enough to dance to and enjoy but not so loud you can't hear your party members. Overall it was a great time and I'd definitely go again!

Definitely unique! Had a great time catching up with friends here. Enjoyed the creative process of building a course and playing through all of the others. It was something different to do than sitting in a typical bar atmosphere though they could have had more variety for non-alcoholic beverages. Would recommend!

What a unique idea! I had never heard of anything like this before coming here. You get assigned a green # and then create your own hole using an assortment of different props ranging from things like plastic eggs to a large heavy wooden windmill and blow up holiday yard decorations. Let your creativity run wild and then when times up, you get to play all of the holes that everyone has created! There is a bar that serves alcoholic drinks which makes it even more fun and challenging.

Designing your own hole and then playing other designed holes made it really fun. You could go 1000 times and never play the same hole twice. Had a blast!

We had a great time. However, the layout of the courses is really tight for about half the course and conjests very easily. We went at a prime time so we paid top dollar, $20 per person, which was a little steep. You can get better pricing on weekdays. Bar prices are also high, so that's what brings it down to a 3 star. Employees were all very nice and helpful. Music was too loud for the acoustics of the room. I would for sure go again, just on an off night, and drink somewhere else before/after.

Held a team building dinner/event on 10/18/2021. First time here - it was a great, unique team building experience for creativity, competitiveness and just fun! Julia, Alyssa, Syd and the crew at Nine Below took great care of our group. Super fun, high energy, laid back. We used Pizza Shuttle for our catering/dinner which was really great also. Highly recommend this very unique team building venue for your next event.

Excellent place for an afternoon with friends. Great atmosphere. Staff was fun and friendly. This was my first time ever playing mini golf, and the experience was awesome. The build-your-own course aspect is unique and allows patrons to embrace their creative side. Don't go with your engineering friends. They'll get way too into it.

We hosted a corp event here and we had a blast! Great team building and of course competitive. The staff was wonderful, food from Bean and Barley was really good and overall just a great time. We were looking to do something different then the "normal" and Nine Below was an outstanding experience.

This was a surprisingly fun place to hang out. Your group gets their own hole to design with random props and hazards. You can make it as easy or difficult as you like, but you do have to play your own hole (so don't make it impossible)! They had a good selection of drinks available and the time allotted was perfect. I'd definitely go again!

Had a great time at Nine Below for my husbands birthday celebration. The mini golf was a lot of fun, and they had an interesting variety obstacles to choose from. The staff was friendly and helpful. I particularly enjoyed being able to reserve a special golden club for the birthday boy. A great place for groups and we will be back soon for another party!

Really fun place to host a private event or just come down with a group of friends to make some mini golf holes and have a few drinks. The place looked great, the service was friendly, and the golfing was pretty fun. Definitely something new to try if you’re looking for something fun to do.

Pretty neat place to try. Can create any kind of mini golf setup you'd like. Was a lot of fun doing it with the work team. The bar is one large circle and the service was really good. They also have video games (like super nes and Nintendo) that you can play if you have to wait or just want to goof around. The have little carts that hold your drinks and you walk them around as you golf.

Great experience. It is unique and a extremely fun atmosphere. A place to bring the friends, not the weird ones, but the cool ones. Full open bar with the original Nintendo console at the bar. They do not accept tips but they do accept hugs, which are nice. I would definitely recommend this place to all and I will go again!!!

Had our work holiday party there tonight. Was a pretty cool place, loved the lights and how it was decorated. I liked the concept of building your own obstacles on the courses and it was very interactive. Half the group really seemed to enjoy theirselves and the other half didnt get into it. The concept of this place allows for creativity and fun. Living in the Brew city, it is hard to find fun events to take guests that do not drink. Many entertainment venues around Milwaukee are geared towards this crowd so it's refreshing to find a fun event where drinking is of course accepted, but not a requirement. We loved the throw back super Nintendo at the bar and the themes each holes can have on a given night - loved the airborne theme! This place is a unique gem that I recommend to many engineering friends or DIY enthusiasts.

Went here with in-laws and family; and somewhat surprisingly had a blast. Building a mini-golf hole is more challenging and also more enjoyable than one would expect. The experience is somewhat based on the creativity and ability of the random people you will be paired with. If they build a difficult or impossible challenge, you're stuck with it. Only frustrations were backups that occurred regularly, it seemed like the entire party is usually waiting on one or two abnormally slow groups. Providing some sort of timer or clue as to how much time is left per hole could go a long way to giving some people a clue that they need to speed it up. Bar service was decent; but drinks were small and 98% ice. Those were the only two negatives of the experience.

So much fun. It wasn't what we expected, but was even better. We actually created our own hole, and then played everyone's creation. The staff was also nice and helpful, and the drinks fabulous. Awesome way to spend a birthday or casual Saturday night. I look forward to going back soon.

The golf portion of the venue was a good time. However, I wouldn't order any expensive alcohol here. I asked for a basic drink, which I drink often, and the liqour was entirely off. I asked the bartender if they had made the correct drink and they said they made what I asked for. I really don't like spending $10 for a rail drink, especially when I ordered decent booze.

The concept of this place is great, but the execution needs work. We had a 6pm reservation on a Saturday night and the place was packed. There had to be at least 75 people there, and because they only have one cash register/computer there was a long line just to get checked in. It was so loud (mix of music and talking) that we could barely hear the instructions from the emcee. Once we were told to start designing our courses, there was a mad dash to get to the props (try fighting 75 people for yard decorations!). Designing our course was fun, but we all wished there was a little guidance or someone on staff that could have offered some suggestions since we were kinda stumped with some areas of our course. Once we got to start playing things quickly got backed up because some of the holes were so difficult/impossible. Kinda feel like the staff should be doing quick evals before start time to help avoid this? We spent almost as much time standing around waiting as actually playing, so we barely got to do 9 holes. Our friends only got to play 7. Kinda disappointing.

A great little place to golf and have some drinks. We didn't have much time so we didn't build any holes for the course but that looked like it would be fun too. You can play the existing holes or you design your own pretty cool concept worth checking out.

Love it here! $20 gets you 2 hours of indoor mini golf. You set up your course with props and then make your rounds to check out other people's courses. They also have Super Nintendo & N64 to play along with a nice bar.

Very fun mini golf course in the basement of Beans and Barley. Reserve a time with a group of friends and you get to set up your own hole on the course, Then all the groups get to play each other's course! Very fun concept

It's a twist on the classic putt-putt, you design your own hole and play everyone else's! You reserve a tee-time (which costs $20 per person) and then your group gets access to obstacles and traps. After you finish testing your hole, you go and play the other available holes. The whole things lasts about 2-3 hours. BONUS - they are a no-tip bar (at least, not by way of card). Lots of fun for regulars and first-timers!
