Perfect place for mini golf!! Its a beautiful green course $7/ Adult which is a great price! They have interactive water and beautiful trees everywhere. Will be going again!

Mini golfing with the family was a blast here! The staff is very friendly and the mini course was a lot of fun. Very simple for small children and entertaining for adults.

Gastrau’s is a treat for the passionate golfer. Heated bays and Top Tracer technology is all you need, especially during these months where it starts to get colder. $18 for a large bucket (100 balls) goes a long way with all the Top Tracer game options. Wish we had a cheap option like this in Chicago!

Great driving range, with lights, and Top Tracer bays too. I'd prefer to hit off grass over turf, but the mats really aren't bad. Nice pro shop, and they do a great job on club re-gripping.

First off, bring bug spray as the mosquitoes are relentless. They are worse during the evening, but are not afraid to attack you in broad daylight either. This review pertains just to the minigolf since I did not use the hitting bays. There are both covered and uncovered bays if you're looking to hit some balls. The 18 hole minigolf course is nicely designed and quite well maintained. The holes are challenging enough that getting an ace takes some skill. There are water features along most of the holes which adds ambiance, but the water features don't come into play. The holes are surrounded by ornamental flowers, trees, and bushes which really beautifies the course.

A really nice place to go mini golfing. Has a nice course with some interesting features, though nothing out of the ordinary. Only concern is that at night, it gets very buggy. We counted over 24 mosquito bites on just my friends shoulder.

Brought my son and they have plenty of junior clubs for kids to use and try out on the range. Nice clean atmosphere and friendly staff. The mini golf is pretty basic but it’s been something we do a few times a summer for years.

5-star review is for their Halloween mini-golf. They clearly took the extra effort with decorations, smoke machines, mini games (scavenger hunt, ring toss, etc), dyed the pond red with ping-pong eyeballs, and best yet had it staffed with friendly/smiling and energetic teens (which can be rare to find these days)! The 16oz beer while playing was an added unexpected bonus. Well done!

We did not utilize the driving range, just the mini golf course. The 18 holes are a good way to have a bit of fun! The overall location could do with some beautification however, as we weren’t sure if we were at the right place.

Nice driving range with covered and outside lanes. Mostly new equipment including heaters. The inside lanes have ball tracking and even virtual games you can play on their touchscreens. The closest to the pin game is fun but isn't always that accurate. First time there and I will return!

Gastrau's golf center is a top notch golf range with the latest shot tracking technology as well as a great pro shop that offers club repairs, gear and refreshments. Tom and his staff make the experience enjoyable every time!

Overall a good facility. They have demo days for new clubs and offer regripping services as well as lessons (Note lessons are pretty old school without any video or metric analysis around your swing). One thing I will comment on is that this place has become extremely busy. Definitely expect a wait for a stall (especially in winter). The other comment I have is that the balls that they on their range are not very good (even by range standards). I can show you in my Toptracer app a 20 yard decrease in ball flight when I go to Gastrau's vs Missing Links or some of the local GC Quad equipped facilities.

We came here with the kids to entertain them. Great place. They have upgraded their driving range for a top golf place. Plus a mini golf course. The pro shop isn't great but decent. They do host many club demos. Year round with head bays. Have fun!

Have had a great time the past few weekends hitting to stay loose over the winter. Covid friendly, nice and warm in the winter, and can thrown on a football or basketball game on the TV while sipping some beers with friends. Highly recommend

I really enjoyed playing the points game with the Tracer system they have installed. Heated facility also makes it a really nice experience. I'm not a golfer, so I dont have my own clubs. It was nice that this facility can also provide (old) clubs. Will definitly visit again soon.

On 7/25/2020 @ 6:45PM I was personally shown with my friends the Top Tracer Camera Ball Tracking system in 2020. You can play full virtual games of golf on major courses. Even putting is fun, you shoot for flags. Really appreciated the demonstration, will be back 100%!

Nice clubhouse and range area with friendly staff. The balls are like hitting rocks though and they do not fly accurately, which is unfortunate for the prices they charge for their buckets, but that is my only complaint. If you're looking to hit some balls to maintain your swing, this is a good range. If you are trying to judge distances with your clubs, you may want to go elsewhere.

Hidden gem , lots of parking and reasonable prices . This compact easy to navigate mini golf course has some challenging holes and plenty of water hazards to keep your attention . There's a nice assortment of shade trees along the way and the landscaping is clean and colorful . It is missing the little posts which have a writing surface and the par for the hole . I will definitely be going back

Gastrau's is a nice place to hit a bucket of balls during winter. It's heated and gets so warm that I wear a hoodie when the temperature is in the teens. For a few more bucks, you can get Toptracer which makes the driving range feel like a video game, making it even more fun. They also have a decent selection of beer and drinks.

I honestly don't even golf and have been coming here weekly. Best way to have some fun with friends safely outdoors while doing some physical activity. Also, it's delightfully warm! Thanks for being a refuge during Winter 2020!

Very impressed with their mini golf (or adventure golf, as they call it) course! This place doesn't look like much when you drive up, but sure enough, it's a cool, fun spot that even has some nice water features. I will definitely be back!

There aren't too many options for mini golf in the city. 2 in fact. The course is alright. Some holes are pretty challenging. The greens are ripped up pretty bad on a few holes, so they could do for some maintenance, but we and the kids had a good time.

Ok so I went to this place and I wasn't expecting much, but it was great! I like how it is tough and has water as well and when I played, I really enjoyed it. This was harder than the other courses and I got hole in one's cheap prices and worth it going back soon great course!!!

Hole in the wall place. Grass isn’t maintained so if you hit 175-200 good luck tracking your ball. Not a lot greens to aim for. Easy to get to off the free way and reasonable prices. Would go again.

They're a greedy people. Can't even bring a bottle of water in as there is a sign clearly stating no outside beverages allowed. And boy was I thirsty.

I've been coming here since I started playing golf in the 90's. Same woman works the register from when I always remembered. They have artificial mats or you can use your own tees and drive off natural grass or work on your irons. Also they have a covered area in the driving range so you can practice up even if it's raining.

This was a very challenging miniature golf course. With a senic little water Rapids running through the center. The staff was well trained helpful and freindly . The driving range was lighted for after dark practice

Gastraus has added Tracer technology so the experience is a little more enjoyable than just hitting balls. They are also updating their outdoor heaters so you can dress in more comfortable clothes...
