Reviews of Pirates Quest at Royal Pin Woodland
This was a very fun golf course. The staff where nice, they had a nice food selection, and bowling was also fun. On the weekends, you book a lane by the hour. The bowling had some glitches, but otherwise, it was a good experience.
There are limited options for miniature golf in the Indy metro area. This place delivers with a decent location, well maintained holes, and reasonable prices. It is also attached to the main bowling alley that includes an arcade and laser tag.
Nice miniature golf. There is two 18 hole courses. Fun for everyone!!!
This is a nice course with great landscaping. You won't find mechanical obstacles, but it's very nice. You can also try laser tag and bowling. It's hidden a bit behind car dealerships, but it's worth finding.
We've been here twice now with friends and had a blast! One if the best putt putt courses in Indiana, as far as atmosphere. Great arcade as well.
I love this place. We played two games of miniature golf. That was a little much cuz I've got hot. There's really no place to sit down on the course. I would recommend they get more benches. Usually you have people in front of you and it'd be nice to be able to sit down.
THIS RATING IS FOR THE BLACK BEARD MINI GOLF COURSE....was advised is was the more difficult course. It was meh. Very nice quality course but not very difficult. Not many holes stood out as different and challenging. The business as a whole looked nice.
It was clean and well maintained, I like the brick layout of the edges, it really bounces where you think it will. I would rate easy-medium difficultly of holes, and most are pretty short. But $7 per person was worth it.
Went with my child, and we had a blast! The putt-putt is attached to a huge complex filled with arcade games, bowling, and a food area. The whole place was clean. The putt-putt area had places of shade and sun. It was a fun course that had interesting elements. The employees were kind and working hard every area we went to. The food and drinks were yummy! A great place I'd go to again!!!
Fun family fun on a Saturday evening. Played a round 9n black beards course.
We visited for the first time today and had a great time. The mini golf course is fairly basic but mostly well kept. We were very impressed with the indoor activities. We did both laser tag and the virtual reality game and had a great time playing both. We also enjoyed tasty (and reasonably priced) pizza for a late lunch. All of the staff were super friendly and helpful also!
Great fun! 18 holes was a good amount of time for our kids (15, 13, 9). Course wasn't too challenging but not super easy either. Arcade games were fun but some were not working.
Great time playing mini gulf at Pirates Cove at Woodland Bowl.
Had a lot of fun here! We did 36 holes and it was the perfect amount. I will say to be prepared to wait around a little bit between holes if you get behind a larger group
We visited today for the first time with 3 Littles 6 and under. It was great! The course was just right for the kids and us adults. Some challenges, some easy. Staff was polite and helpful. Definitely recommend for a family or a date night!
Temps in the 30s today. Obviously no one else was out there doing mini golf. My boyfriend and I had a good time. The place seems pretty well maintained. Couple of the holes were not draining so had to pick up the ball out of water but I don't mind. $8 per person. Two different courses to choose from. Music playing, neat pirate theme with lots of skeletons.
First time playing and had a great time with my team.
I always enjoy playing mini golf, and how convenient this location is, right next door to bowling and laser tag! It's the closest thing I've found in Indy to the mini golf places I visited in Panama City Beach, Florida!
Such a fun place. Two courses, both fun and challenging. Little skill needed (as opposed to true Putt Putt). Little shade, play is quick, and lots of props to check out. We always try to go when we're nearby. Check it out!
The miniature golf area is well taken care of. It is reasonably priced.
Girlfriend and I’s first time going to play mini golf in Indy and it took forever to get attended, a lot of the arcade games were broken or unavailable so not worth it for the arcade. As for playing mini golf it was pretty good, they had decent equipment, nice semi-challenging courses and well kept.
It's a fun place. It was one of the first nice days in 2020, so it was pretty busy. Almost all long clubs were gone. No water yet, don't know when they add it. It looks way nicer with water. Prices are good. We had an older voucher and it was still good.
Very well managed golf course. Everything is clean and well kept. Staff is friendly. Courses are challenging enough to entertain adults yet still fun and doable for all young ages. Many waterfalls, trees, and decorations to add to the experience. Thanks, and will be back again!
I went here today with a group. There are two separate courses next to each other. The pirate theme is pretty cool throughout the entire area. Some of the actual holes have water moving through them to use to get the ball in the cup.
It only cost me around $9 to play both courses. Great deal. It is definitely worth coming with the family.
Fun. The price was a little high but I don't partake in mini golf that often so I can't really speak on that. The course was easy and it also has an arcade an bowling alley that can supply you with a night filled with fun. It's tucked behind a car dealership so you cannot see it from the main road but trust your GPS and you'll find yourself at Pirates Quest!
We always make it a must to find mini golf in the areas in which we stay, we found this place and decided to go get a few rounds in, wasn't busy and the holes were good with a little challenge. We didn't do much inside but there seemed like there was a lot to keep the kids busy for a whole day.
Bowling alley, arcade games, 2 fairly large putt putt courses that meet in the middle, had fun with the fam! Would suggest to anyone!
I would have given it 5 stars but a lot of machines were not working. The putt putt was great!!
A perfect date spot! Their course is long and fun, and when you complete it, you can go inside and play some games or go bowling! I definitely suggest not going on Saturday, because it can get really busy then.
Tried the east course (there are two to choose from on site). 18 holes. Price was very reasonable at time of visit. Varied holes with engaging designs. Challenging yet fun to play. Really a beautiful course around sunset.
The friendly staff clearly does a great job of upkeep on the course.
Well maintained, family friendly. This course is pretty condensed, putting players all within sight on two 18 hole courses. Have seen better pirate themed mini golf courses, but not in this town.
I've been to quite a few putt putt locations. Would give this one a solid six out of ten.
Inexpensive and lots of fun. They're open late which is great for summer nights. The Red Beard course was not too difficult for our 6 & 8 yr old. If you catch it on a Groupon you can go even cheaper ($15 or so for 4 people).
This is a good putt putt place with 36 holes & reasonably priced. They have a good variety of holes, from fun to challenging. The only downside is it can get easily backed up if they're busy.
Great for bowling but the Laser Tag staff on duty was least brothered if there's anyone there to play or not. They just expect you to stand outside the door with nobody to greet you or even a queue marking. While I'm bi**hing- the battery on my gun ran out. The floor was too slippery. Blah.. blah.. it was still fun to play!
I absolutely love this place! It's an amazing place to take kids, family, and even a great place for couples! Bowling, Lazer tag, VR game, putt-putt and arcade! Prices are definitely perfect and affordable.
Took grandkids (10 & 8) for mini- golf. Hopping place. Lots of children, but well behaved & courteous. Young adults acted like adults. No loud colorful language. Staff were gracious and helpful.
Course is well designed for put put. The course isn’t well maintained or updated for the year. May be because It’s still cold out.
A fairly good mini golf course. It’s well maintained. The holes aren’t particularly challenging or inventive, but it’s still a fun course.
This was a nice place for mini golf. It's right next to the bowling alley and arcade, which means the fun can continue after you've finished the course. I really like the design of the course and detail that was put into the pirate theme. It's an beautiful place to be a bright summer day, although I recommend going on summer nights when it's cool and relaxing. My godfather and I went during the day; we were hot, sweaty, and borderline dehydrated. There isn't a lot of shade or benches to rest on, so we really had no choice but to work our way through in the hot sun. Howevere, my main criticism with the pirate course was the lack of challenges and difficulty. Many of the holes could be completed in two strokes, which results in a really quick game. My godfather and I finished our game in as little as 20-30 mins. We were both expecting it take much longer and we're a little disappointed that it didn't, but all in all we still had a nice time.
Cute course but not well maintained. None of the water features worked and the course was covered with debris.
The course was great, it was like a real tourist/vacation mini golf and not just some flat greened parking lot course. Plus the other attractions nearby seemed just as entertaining! Great spot!!!
This joint is a little run down and the mini golf course is nothing special. Only 1-2 holes are interesting, the rest are small and boring. They didn't have enough clubs, so we had to share one
Perfect for my 6 year old. Easy course, well kept, fun decor. Arcade & bowling on site made for an extra fun day.
Played Mini golf. The course was good, the establishment was clean, staff was nice. Even though there is a lot of construction in the area they were busy. Good place for some family fun.
Fun for the entire family. 2 courses to choose from. Both have some challenging holes as well as opportunities for a hole in one. Reasonably priced. A bit tucked away but easily found using Google Maps.
Fun arcade, mini golf, and bowling alley. The putt putt course was under repair while we visited. Looked like they were making good improvements.
Had a great time getting some fresh air.
Played here several times. Its a joy
It's a nice small mini golf course, great for younger kids. Doesn't take too long to go through. The staff is very friendly.
Cheap beer, mini golf and bowling! The arcade and laser tag leave something to be desired, but all in all, it's good for date night or a kids outing.
Son loved it. They do need to clean it up a bit and have a little more supervision on whats going on there. It was obvious that there was underage drinking by a few groups playing
Two different 18 hole outdoor mini golf courses. Fun time for the family. Bowling/arcade/laser tag attached inside.
Good for a group of 10 kids with a Groupon. Good price point, nothing overly special about the venue but fun venue for putt putt golf.
It was pretty fun. The 18th hole was ridiculous. Never seen one like it. Like a skeet ball game. Need a normal hole wear you can finish the hole.
Two decent mini golf courses. Arcade is kinda expensive, but the employees made the experience not too shabby.
So much fun!!!
Fun little get a way for some mini golf, wife had fun on her birthday made it twice as nice!
It's a fun place to hang out with family or friends. The two miniature golf courses are fun and challenging.
Awesome and inexpensive. It's a well kept course with reasonable obstacles at a fair price that families and groups should like.
Great mini golf course in Great shape with clean restrooms and helpful staff.
A very nostalgic place for me, but I always wanted and maybe less algae in the water
Putt putt was plan it we had fun.
We had lots of fun playing Putt Putt here. It was clean and well maintained. We will play here again in the future.
Staff is great and mini-golf is awesome but the location is getting pretty dated and doesn't get a whole lot of maintenance.
Simple course, fun for novice and kids under 10. Buggy. Swarms of gnats on the course.
Add a n insect UV light off course.
My son and I had lots of fun with the Pirates Quest Mini-Golf. We enjoyed it so much we played two rounds.
We had a great time. If you have toddlers, go on a weekday.
It's a pretty cool mini golf course. Nothing mind blowing, but fun for a group of friends.
This place is fun for a family. Staff was really friendly. Kids had a blast.
Great place for miniature golf. Excellent courses. 2 18 hole courses.
Kind of small, but a lot of fun. They have as small arcade and a bowling alley.
Expensive. Basketball games unavailable. Played miniture golf..laser tag..arcade.
Large 70 lane bowling alley attached and golf was very good
Clean, family friendly entertainment. The pirate themed golfing "obstacles" are attractive and fun.
Fun place for the family. Very clean and easy to social distance.
Had so much fun playing mini golf! And it's super cheap too
Fun fun fun. W went putt putt for birthday. They have two course that end together.
Not too shabby, need a little better cleanliness during fall. Shares it's building with Woodland Bowl
Fun place to golf. Check Groupon before you go to get the best price.
Fun course! 36 holes. Only $6.25 for 18 holes.
Great golf place! Nice staff! Lots of fun!!
Sunch a fun time
Cheap and a great night out with putt putt golf
Golf clubs were too small and falling apart, but great courses!
3 adults, and we had a lot of fun.
Enjoyed our time, great family fun day- love the online coupons
Great course, little crowed and it floods a bit. Nothing to terrible
Loved every minute
Fun time, best deal is on Groupon, will def come back!!!!!
Mini golf was average, but bowling was great
2 nice putt putt courses. Next to bowling alley and arcade.
Good golf course, but kinda crowded.
Every town should have one of these! Super fun!!
I'm just glad all the pirates are dead. I was afraid they would disturb our family time, but there are no live pirates there at all!
Best mini golf I've ever played!
Great miniature golf course!
Been to portillo's many times up north. This good as any and good service.
Wife & I loved it w/ all the other friendly customers.
