Took my 8 year old to play the Jr 3 hole par 3 course. It was in great shape and he had a blast. 2 dollars per player for 3 holes is a steal.

I've played here for 20+ years and playing here twice a week for roughly 15 years. This is the hidden gem of the west Chicago suburbs. Course is always in beautiful condition, greens are fairly fast, smooth and always manicured, and not a flat one in the bunch. Fairways are in terrific shape, and although the course is wide, the rough is appropriately deep. The front nine is relatively flat while the back nine is rolling hills... two different courses. Lots of trees line a lot of the course. Cons - a few holes have protected prairie flowers and grass and you're unable to walk into it looking for your ball. Driving range usually doesn't open until 15 minutes after the first tee time, though they have a nice practice green for putting and chipping that is open when you get there. Sand traps, from time to time, can be a little iffy, especially this year with covid going on and the course just getting back up and running. Pros? Top notch staff, inside and out. Friendly. And a couple of years ago they did a complete upgrade for drainage... since then I've never even had 90 degree with a cart. We have played there the morning after two inches of rain fell, and the course was dry and ready to go... AMAZING. I've seen some reviews about being told to speed up. It's been my experience, if you are being told to speed up, its because you are taking longer than the course standard of 4 hrs and 20 min. Letting people play through doesn't do anything except create a bottleneck. Do everyone a favor and just keep pace. They have nice deals and senior rates that make it one of the best courses to play. And damn... is it beautiful! Take a camera, you'll use it.

Maybe the best golf course in Aurora for the price and being public. It is maintained extremely well for being a park district golf course. Fairly straightforward golfing with some very good looking holes. The back 9 typically plays faster in my experience

I’m giving this golf course five stars because for the price, you cannot find a better golf course! Greens were healthy and challenging, yet not too quick. Overall course layout was very fun to play, with drastic elevation changes you don’t see in most courses around here. I found that to be the most challenging for me. My only complaint would be that when I played, the rough was pretty long. (Maybe it was cut the day after...) The bunkers were sometimes un raked, and there were a few too many ball marks on some of the greens. But considering the price, those things didn’t even bother me. And to be fair, lazy golfers were to blame for those issues. Jeff Schmidt, the head pro/ operations manager here, was very friendly when I met him! I believe he offers lessons as well. The course also has a nice driving range, and a small area for chipping and putting. I look forward to playing here again!

I was just with an Friend who stopped there to check out some things regarding ⛳ n the Spring opening I'm goin'na assume. Since I'm not familiar with the Golfing. I do know that they are keeping everything up to Par from what I was told.

Nice course, good value and some good views. Not the most challenging course, which is good for someone in my handicap range (typically shoot high 80s/low 90s), so would definitely recommend for the developing golfer.

I love this place. The elevation changes are different from other courses around here. Not supremely challenging like some others in the area, but definitely fun holes to play.

Our foursome loves Phillips Park GC. The way they maintain the course is amazing. And of course they want you to be careful riding on the course, but they make carts available as soon as the weather improves. And a big tip of the golf hat to the Phillips Park pro, Jeff. Always a classy guy even if your a duffer which I'm definitely not.

Clubhouse under some new and updated changes for 2022, rumor is that they're installing few golf simulators! Great driving range but short game area is too small.

Nice course with two styles of holes. The front nine are flat, open, prairie style and the back nine are hilly, wooded style but still very forgiving. Great for all levels of golfers.

This is a nice course without too many challenges. The course itself was in above average condition..the only thing was that there were a few bunkers under construction but it wasn't a big deal. The reason I took off two stars is because there was a staff member there named Bob who works in the pro shop and he was extremely rude and unpleasant and he's actually been like that all three times I've played here. If it wasn't for Bob I would probably give this place 5 stars.

Nice museam with mammoth remains that were found in the lake on the grounds. They have a great park and picnic area. They also have an amazing Xmas light display during the holidays.
