Spent a day here this summer watching the US Open. Beautiful old course that's impeccably maintained. Some of the rough was so deep I can't imagine having to hit out of it. Beautiful grounds. It's hard to believe you're right outside Boston it's so isolated from its surroundings.

The course is in fantastic shape for the US Open. I followed Phil Mickelson and John Rahm in one of their practice rounds. The rough is thick so they better keep it on the fairway this tournament!

Beyond great. Played golf my whole life 50 plus years. Never seen a golf course in this shape .The entire golf course tees,fairways, aprons were a putting green. And firm off the charts. Congratulations to all Made Brookline proud and very special place. ⛳👍

I simply love coming to this most exclusive of country clubs. There is not a member of the less desirable classes in sight, and it is an accepting place to meet and mingle with other likeminded members of high society. Word to the unwise, do not even think of asking how to join our prestigious institution. You are not good enough, and we do not want you here. Lovely, challenging course and excellent food and beverage selection as well. I highly recommend you visit if invited, for if you are, you certainly deserve it.

There are a few courses in the U S , when you get a chance to play it .. Go. This course is as tough as it gets. Staying out of the rough is the key, it will cost you a stroke, greens are somewhat forgiving , but, landing on them is challenging . Definitely a 5+ star

Truly historic place in golf. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The facilities are beautiful. The golf course looked immaculate from the clubhouse. The coming Ryder Cup players are in for an awesome experience. TCC reminds me of my old club, Piping Rock in Locust Valley. I stopped by the TCC pro shop to buy a shirt and to inquire how best to get to play a round at TCC in the future. I've played all but 5 of the Top 50 golf courses in the U.S. (per Golf Digest), and TCC is on my bucket list. I was advised that one needs to be referred by a member at TCC to play (a call from one's club's pro isn't enough). So should someone reading this be or know a TCC member, and they are looking for a guest to join them, I would be very pleased to volunteer (9.5 index), host lunch/dinner and share insights from a recent trip to Scotland where we played 15 courses (11 of the 12 highest rated) in 11 days. In short, one should never pass on an invitation to play TCC. Go U.S.A. 🇺🇸 @ the Ryder Cup!

Recently attended a curling bonspiel at TCC (Newell Invitational Mixed). The members we met welcomed us openly and treated us like family. Great curling ice, great food, great service (thanks Joey!!). Can't wait to go back next year!

The inconspicuous approach to those greens, often elevated and protected by bunkers, will be a severe test, as will the usual US Open pitfalls: steep, fast hitting surfaces. and rugged.
