Fun time. Very friendly! New electric carts. Well maintained. Course in great condition. Fast greens. Very inexpensive. Round was a little slow at 4-1/2 hours.

Review based on recent round. I’m being generous with 3 stars. The course is in rough shape. Fairways were dried out, one hole was partially closed and another was completely closed All due to major sprinkler work I assume. Will probably take 9 months to recover. Will try again next year.

Looked for a restaurant and We wanted to try something new for dinner instead of our usual and I'm not sure about everything else on the menu but the chicken sandwich was the best I've had. And it's simple!! Put together, tasty, and not dry. Plus a view of the lake is great too. Come for lunch or dinner they have specials daily too. Drinks little on the high end but goos place for a meal.

The pro shop staff was amazing. Friendly, inviting, and very informative for our first visit. Great food and beverage area, bar, and outdoor seating. Will be back!

Lakeview is a great club with the most friendly people I know. The club has been going through a transition the past couple years and has been making great headway with both the course and staff. The staff work very hard to make our experience the best it can be. They do get sour grapes from people like Neffanator who tell only part of the story what occurred to cause that person to write such a sour review. The whole story is totally different, and suffice it to say, the staff went WAY out of their way to try to appease a group of people who where not prepared to be on the course in the first place. Anyone who complains about the bar being closed at 8:30 AM, well, enough said. Lakeview is a great place to golf. It is going through some growing pains, but with excellent staff and with Rooster's Catering, the food is excellent. I highly recommend them.

Great golf course! The fairways and greens are well maintained and there are a number of doglegs on the course that keep things challenging and fun. They even have 2 different practice greens and a practice bunker which I thought was really nice. Ryan and Todd are great guys and very knowledgeable about golf!

The best part of Lakeview Golf Course is its family- friendly atmosphere. How often can you say THAT about a golf ⛳ course? The course is a full 18 holes and can be as challenging as you want, depending on where you tee off. It's well maintained but green fees are very affordable. Even the restaurant, with outdoor seating, weekend entertainment, great bar, has delicious food, with a tasty variety of selections and daily specials. It's so good, and the atmosphere so friendly and relaxing, we eat there even when we aren't golfing. This course has an all- around good, welcoming feel. Don't go if you're into stodgy, stuffy, old-rules golf.

Had a great time golfing at Lakeview with some family! Course was great, really liked the food and service. Shawn served us, and made us feel like family. Also, was lucky enough to talk to Ryan Roberts the pro there, who gave me a pretty good tip for my swing. Overall had a great time!

Had my BSU class there this semester! It's an excellent course to play on. Open well kept fairways, with challenging dog legs and drives. Friendly and helpful staff. And the bartender always pours a great drink after a good or bad day out on the course.

I brought my family Into the golf club for some food. The service that the manager Shawn provided was second to none. He made us feel welcome and like we were a priority. Steven was also very courteous and professional. Needless to say, we will always come back! If you are looking for a great experience and amazing food, this is your spot!!

Well-kept, challenging course, good for all levels of golfers. I took a college course through this golf club and the head pro was very knowledgeable and helpful! The driving range is well kept and the atmosphere is fun!

Lakeview Golf course is great. I have lived in the neighborhood for 9 years but just wondered over to the club house about a year ago. Now you cant keep me away. They have great food and great people. I believe that you get out of life what you put into it. I have gotten to know some of the people that work there which has made the frequent visits for dinner, rounds of golf, driving range and tournaments more enjoyable. 5 stars all day long. Update: 2/22/2020- Lakeview golf course got a new chef. When I say chef, I mean CHEF, not just a cook. I just had the most perfectly cooked steak I have had in years. Shorty came out to ask how we liked the meal. Wow, just wow! Sign up for the lakeview text updates and head to the club house any time that shorty is running a special. I can't wait to try their Thursday night, pasta night.

They wanted to charge me thirteen dollars a year to use my own cart to walk nine holes. Not going to pay it. No others golf course would charge you. I think employees maybe taking the money.

Overall the course was in good shape. Greens rolled really well and where tough to read. Lots of big breaks. There is lots of water around a few holes but it never seems to come into play. They need to work on watering management due to lots of standing water in the fairways. Almost every hole is lined with packed tight houses but the fairway are wide enough to keep them out of play. The problem is there is just nothing memorable about the course . That is why I only give it three stars

I played on Thursday this week. Course is ok. Signs at clubhouse tell customers they must wear masks while inside. This protects employees from you. They however don’t feel the same way about themselves. Not one employee at the check in counter, pro shop, office or restaurant was wearing a mask. Employees coming in from outside also were not wearing masks. They obviously don’t care about your safety.

Know that my rating is only based on the driving range. I have not played a round of golf here. Range is priced fair, and you hit into the water which is kind of cool (easier to see where your ball splashes down). The only thing is you aren't suppose to use drivers. They don't want the houses hit on the far end of the range. Understandable, but kind of sucks not being able to practice your entire club set.

Today was my first time playing this course. Staff was helpful and friendly and professional. The driving range is cool as you hit into a body of water. The course was well tended — and neither too easy nor too difficult. I’ll be back!

Have played here a handful of times. The course is looking in great shape and is arguably one of the best courses in the treasure valley. The staff is very friendly. Also at the driving range you hit balls into the water! Play here if you get a chance.

Fantastic course! Might have some short par 4s, but it somehow finds ways to challenge your handicap. Pro shop staff was courteous and offered tips for the course which helped me card an 80. I'm a 10 handicap and was expecting to score closer to 90 for my first time out here. I attribute this to the fact that every green played the same from 1 to 18. This will be my new home course.

Ryan is very knowledgeable about the game and very helpful! Boise State offered a class conducted by him, and as a beginner golfer I took tremendous strides in my overall game. The course is great for all levels of golfers and well maintained. Thank you Ryan!

Always friendly, knowledgeable staff makes the experience great. The course is beautiful, with lots of water features and technical areas. The practice area is one of the best in town, as you're hitting practice balls into a massive pond. With 2 pracice/chipping greens, it's never too busy...AND the restaurant is delicious. Lakeview Burger is our favorite.

Never played here before and it's less than 2 miles away. Finally got the chance to play it and loved it, not incredibly long, and a couple of 90 degree turns and moderately tight fairways demand shotmaking. Perhaps slightly overpriced, but that would be my only complaint. Otherwise, LOVED the course itself. Also, the folks in the clubhouse were very nice.

I am not a golfer ..lol..but my Dad belongs to Lakeview.and golfs about 3 days a week. He loves this place. He and my mom have lived on this golf course for 13 yrs. My review is not about the golf but rather it is concerning the food and service. My mom passed away last month and we decided to have her Celebration of Life at the club. MaryClaire is the person in charge of events like this apparently and she did an amazing job! She was attentive, very responsive and accomodating. She even tried to fix the horrible flowers that were delivered. She also did a great job with the food. We just had finger foods but she really encouraged us to get these chicken skewers and boy was she right! Everyone loved them! They didnt charge us for the room as long as we ordered $300 in food. To us, that was a great deal! Also, the people that work there were very sweet to us and Becky and Coleman are hard working bartenders who took great care of us too. It was a great experience despite how emotional it was:)

Great easy place to pop out to, only gripe is that it’s ALWAYS crowded. Like… 11am on a Tuesday… don’t people have jobs? Let the people with actual weird and/or nonexistent jobs get out every once in awhile…

Ryan Roberts was my instructor for my golf class and did an excellent job not only demonstrating the fundamentals of golfing, but also the proper etiquette to use on the course. He is a good teacher and truly does help the people he coaches learn how to play the game the right way.

Hidden gem tucked neatly away in a subdivision neighborhood. Friendly staff, good food, nightly specials and good prices keep the surprising number of regulars at this content and coming back. Full bar and patio seating are also available.

The course is fun and challenging, it is well kept and just a pleasure to play. They have foot golf as well which the wife and I absolutely love. The workers are helpful and hard working in both the restaurant and the grounds.

Lakeview is a nice local course in amongst homes! The course has been there for years so it's very established! There is a "Crew" game every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 9:30 am! Good bunch of old guys! Greens feed are a little over priced for the course, but still reasonable! Fun place to play!

Awesome club sandwich and the Coors Lite not too bad either. Oh and the course is is in great shape now. Plus to top it off I shot my lowest score ever on my 66th B-Day. Yeah Me lol

I’ve been going into the Lakeview bar and grill/ club house for the past couple years. Great people and service etc.! As with most business there have been some challenges and personnel changes over the past year and Lakeview has held it’s own. However, it’s been brought to my attention that the city of Meridian acquired/re-acquired both the golf course as well as the bar/grill. Thus, at this time I’d just like to express my perception and my .02 toward future endeavors. I will simplify at this point... In my opinion the personnel are doing a great job and striving toward improvements and business success. However, the two individuals that I see who truly have a concept plus the experience of business/customer service are Shawn Wardian and Steven Wardian. This, it would be both my personal and professional preference to see both of these individuals to be involved and moving forward with this particular establishment! Sincerely, LD Frazier

When I think of Lakeview golf course I think of home. Shawn and Steven Wardian make Lakeview seem like a second home to me! When you get served by the two brothers they make you feel like part of the family even when you are a complete stranger. Enjoyable tournament at Lakeview today. Greens were in very nice condition. Tee boxes could be leveled out a bit, but everything else looked good.

It's winter golf now, with a bit of ice and snow on the fairways. The greens are mostly frozen, but it's too be expected this time of year. Still it was a great time out golfing. Staff was very friendly.

I visited the driving range out here and was very impressed. The customer service in the restaurant and pro shop was great, and it was fun hitting into a pond for the driving range. Very well maintained grounds, and the live music was a nice touch as well.
