WOW I was completely blown away by the beauty and artistry of the work Angelene did for our small wedding in March of this year. I asked for vibrant colors and spring flowers for our festive wedding, and the bouquet, table arrangements, and main floral pieces that she designed were just stunning, and totally "made"the vibe of our event. I planned my wedding, so it was important to me to find vendors who were organized, professional, and could help me fill in the blanks when needed. Angelene was very responsive to my many questions, and gave guidance on the kinds of floral arrangements to include in our venue space. I highly recommend Angelene and her team at Villanelle - lovely work, and lovely vendor to work with!

Angelene did such an unreal job with my florals! I told her my vibe without giving too much direction and she absolutely nailed it. My hanging installation was a dream - I've received so many compliments. For my bridesmaids bouquets, she used one type of flower from each of my own bride bouquet and it was a really beautiful touch that gave everyone a bit of a different look. Would highly recommend!

We recently eloped to the Cascade Mountains from Chicago and Villanelle did such a lovely job creating a bouquet, boutonniere and eucalyptus hoops for decor. They all turned out beautifully. Communication was easy and prompt, even though we did not get an opportunity to meet in person. I would highly recommend them if you are looking for gorgeous florals!

She chose a beautiful selection of flowers for the vases at the guest tables, and her installations were stunning and very tastefully composed. Angelene and her team from Villanelle Floral Company not only provided the floral designs for our intimate ceremony in 2021, but also a large reception in 2022, after COVID precautions contributed to 2 years of delays in our celebration. She was patient and flexible throughout 3 years of working together, to make sure to create the dreamy and magical florals we could only imagine. In classic "going above and beyond"-fashion, Angelene also advocated for us to have some hanging greenery we had planned, when our venue tried to push back the day of our big event. As a professional, she assertively presented our contract and had her insurance ready. Sure enough, they ended up allowing it, and she created exactly what we wanted. If I can offer one suggestion, I recommend giving Angelene some creative freedom, because when you do, she goes above and beyond!

Angelene did an amazing job with the florals for my wedding. I had a great experience working with her, from the beginning to the day of the wedding. She set up time for a consult to talk through what I was looking for in terms of the arrangements that I needed, and the look and feel. I'm not familiar with flowers at all but Angelene was able to get an understanding of what I wanted and put together a plan. One of the things I really appreciated was that she shared pictures of some of the example arrangements a couple days before the wedding so that I could give my feedback. She was very responsive to the feedback and the flowers turned out even better than I imagined. She was also able to make some quick changes on the day of to make sure my bouquet was the right size and I really appreciated how flexible and attentive she was. I would highly recommend Angelene and her floral company.

Villanelle Floral created my bouquet for my elopement. She was came highly recommended from our wedding planner Kate. The bouquet was BEAUTIFUL. I wasn’t sure about the combination of flowers I chose but the designer said not to worry, that the bouquet would turn out great. And it did!!

She is very responsive and transparent with her pricing. She is also conscious of making sure her flowers come from local sources and her equipment is eco friendly and sustainable.

Angeline was easy to chat with from the moment I met her. I went back and forth a few times about what I wanted and she went with the flow, offering helpful suggestions along the way. We ended up doing bouquets, boutonnières, corsages, garlands, an arch piece, cake flowers, a hair comb, and accessory pieces of greenery. When it came to day-of, she blew me away with her gorgeous arrangements. She made them look done, but not too-done if you know what I mean? All the bouquets and garlands fit it perfectly and made our wedding look above and beyond! She even helped with a last-minute boutonnière emergency. I highly recommend her for all your floral needs!

Villanelle Floral created an incredible backdrop for our virtual wedding. When we decided to have a virtual wedding, we realized it needed to be indoors (to ensure that we had strong WiFi). However, we still wanted our wedding to look special, and to incorporate some beautiful Pacific North West greenery. Angelene came to the apartment on our wedding day and built a lush greenery arch directly onto our brick wall. It totally transformed the space! We waited in a different room while she worked (to ensure social distancing), and when we walked back in we were astounded. The arch looked beautiful, framed us perfectly, and smelled amazing. Angelene even came back later that evening to remove everything. We were so happy with Villanelle Floral and can’t recommend them enough!

I’m a 2020 bride. Due to COVID-19, our wedding plans had changed quite a few times! I found our venue just 3.5 weeks before our selected date & suddenly needed to scale up from a barebones elopement to a micro wedding. I already knew I needed Villanelle Floral for our flowers- their beautiful arrangements had the enchanting, whimsical “feel” I wanted for our fall forest ceremony. It's art in flower form! After just one short 15 minute phone call in which my only directions were “fall colors” and “natural-feeling”, Angelene sent back detailed proposals that nailed my vision better than anything I could’ve described. I knew we were in good hands! On the day-of, I didn’t even provide directions; I simply trusted Angelene to know where to place the arrangements for the best effect (after a 15 minute hike to the forest location!). I may be biased, but our wedding was unforgettable- & we received so many compliments on our flowers and my bouquet! I loved them so much that I’ve sent some away for preservation. I just couldn’t part with them! We want to thank Angelene and her team at Villanelle Florals again for being a part of our special day. We wouldn’t have had it any other way!

I had the pleasure of working with Angelene of Villanelle Floral Company on a wedding this year. As a planner I really appreciate someone who is quick to respond, super organized, and has an amazing floral vision. When my clients and I came to Angelene with the idea to heavily incorporate dried florals into their overall design she was totally on board and came up with tons of unique ideas. When we had to add extra guests a couple of weeks before the wedding she was super willing to pivot the design so as not to lose any of the magic. Day of, Angelene and her team worked so hard on the most beautiful hanging installation of dried florals, lunaria, and pampas grass that I have ever seen. It was such a statement piece and was more than the bride and groom could have imagined. It was truly beautiful! Not only is Angelene super talented and amazing at what she does but she's so sweet and chill. You definitely want her on your vendor list for your wedding!

Angelene was a delight to work with. We didn’t have a clear vision for what we wanted, or if we wanted many flowers at all, but Angelene chatted with us about our likes and dislikes, and helped us toss around ideas. We knew our color palette and style (natural, flowy, not too structured), and sent along inspiration photos. Angelene asked clarifying questions, provided examples, and then sent descriptions of what she was envisioning, and took it from there. We had 7 bridesmaids and 1 bridesman, all wearing their choice of suit, jumpsuit, or dress. With Angelene’s help, we ended up deciding that each person could choose whatever they wanted for their floral piece - bouquet, boutonnière, crown, cuff, sash, etc. This was such a fun idea that worked out really well - the bridal party got to choose what worked best for them, and it fit our loose theme of laid-back elegance. I really appreciated Angelene’s flexibility with this, and her genuine enthusiasm for doing something fun and different. When Angelene showed up the morning of our wedding, she was such a joy. She helped the boutonnière wearers with the pinning, and had such good energy. And, of course, the flowers were perfect - we received so many compliments, and I’m so glad we decided to include floral in our ceremony. I was impressed with how well Angelene was able to help us figure out what we wanted and then create something that truly captured that vision. I also want to note that my wife and I spent so many hours pouring through vendor websites and reviews to find people who not only were “open” to working with members of the LGBTQ community, but who also had experience with LGBTQ weddings, and who featured those weddings on their site or social media posts. And of course, vendors who fit our style and price point. I loved that Villanelle Floral made it clear that they support and work with LGBTQ weddings - because of this, floral was one of our first vendors we booked! We were so lucky that our wedding was full of good vibes, and Angelene and her work definitely added to that. Thanks, Angelene!

I went in to my flower search loving all sorts of different styles and flowers. I wasn't sure what direction to go and the few florists I spoke with only wanted a concrete decision. With everyone else I didn't feel like I was listened to and collaboration was almost non-existent. When I finally sat down and spoke with Angelene I felt like I was speaking to an artist who wanted to understand the feel of my wedding day and make it happen. She listened to countless details and at the end put together the most magical bouquet for me. I didn't get just fantasy, classical or rustic from my bouquet but rather she brought every element to life. I received an amazing amount of compliments on my flowers the day of and in the images after the wedding. From the art you receive to the wonderful person you get to work with, Angelene is a fantastic addition to your wedding day.
