Over the top joyful and perfect. This florist had an unusually large number of reviews and extremely high ratings. When I ordered online, I asked for a substitution of one flower. They emailed that they would do that. The day of delivery they sent a photo of the actual flowers they were delivering. It was spectacular. Gorgeous. On top of that, they had an unusual offering called Kaleidoscope. Take a look. This just tickled me, and I knew the recipient would adore it. Creative, unusual and fun. A flight of fancy. They emailed me once it had been delivered. This florist is the best!

I have been using my neighborhood florist.. LaVassar for almost 10 years now. My grandmother was a florist and I love to help design arrangements when I order them, however the designers are amazing here and I now just quickly call and order saying "do your amazing thing!". This last order I did was even online and was so quick it took me less than 5 minutes. They are the perfect place to get a last minute gift! I highly recommend!

I’ve had two experiences with LaVassar now. My bf ordered flowers for me and it was the most beautiful arrangement with my favorite colors (and they lasted for so long!) So when my friend’s bday came up, I decided to order a designer’s choice arrangement for her and they turned out so lovely! Such a reasonable price for next day delivery too! It feels good to support a local business as well. I was super impressed how the shop was able to send me a photo of the arrangement before delivery, then another email confirming it was delivered. They have a great system in place. My friend loved them and I will definitely use LaVassar again in the future!

Gorgeous flowers - delivered on time and stunning as always. I go out of my way to use these guys. The hand-delivery fee is well worth it because their flowers are fresher, last longer, better designed, and overall just a much higher-quality experience than other flower vendors. I could probably knock $20-30 off somewhere else, but the small premium is worth it for the quality and the high-touch service. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

The end result was a lovely variety of textures and flowers that made the arrangement look unique, sophisticated and pretty. The flowers were delivered for a baby shower and was very well received. When calling to ask about different options, LaVassar was friendly and helpful. They also provided a picture of what the arrangement looked like once assembled and confirmation of delivery, which I appreciated.

On top of that, the card was hand-addressed in beautiful cursive. I was able to get a super fresh, both in style and quality, arrangement to my brother with only a day’s notice. Top class professionals and floral arrangements. I called to discuss floral arrangements on the Tuesday prior to my father's Monday funeral, and Joanne kindly discussed the possibilities and what might look best for the occasion. A custom order was placed for two easel arrangements, and when I called with a question on Sunday which happened to be Mother's Day, she had stayed two hours after closing to continue working on the arrangement for my father's funeral. The easel arrangements were absolutely gorgeous, and beyond that, the experience of communicating and collaborating with someone who cares on the perfect product will keep me returning to LaVassar whenever I can.

If you're looking for an amazing, trustworthy florist in Seattle...look no further. I have used them probably a half dozen times and have always been blown away by how lovely their arrangements are. I don't live in the area, so I always use them to deliver flowers to my mom. Many times this occurs on national holidays (such as Mother's Day). Their quality NEVER suffers despite the increase in demand. My mom always goes on and on about how beautifully presented the arrangements are, and the flowers are always extremely fresh and long-lasting. My mom also made a point of saying how friendly and nice the man who delivered the flowers was. I'll never use another florist in Seattle because I feel as if I've found a true gem in LaVassar Florists. LaVassar is one-of-a-kind...I really trust them as a wonderful family-owned business. I love supporting them. Their designs are absolutely beautiful and really unique...their arrangements clearly aren't something you could pick up at any florist. I think their prices are quite reasonable for the value, quality, and artistic touch of their arrangements. This was the first time I ordered from LaVassar Florist, and I recommend them highly. I wanted a local florist close to my daughter-in-law for her birthday flowers. They have a beautiful selection of arrangements, their website was very easy to use and prices are reasonable. Ordered flowers for a friend last minute and was so happy with my purchase. Ordering process was easy, delivery was fast, and even got a preview photo of the flowers in advance of delivery! "Florist Choice" had ability to specify color and height preferences - something I've never seen before and really nice. Best florist shop I have EVER ordered from!! The arrangement I ordered looked just like the picture featured on the website! I really appreciate that because once I saw the arrangement I had a vision, and it can be disappointing when other florists have strayed too far from what I fell in love with on the website. I told LaVassar Florist to use the colors lavender and gold, and that this arrangement would be placed in front of a podium. The order was completed on time and pick up was a breeze. I love the variety of potted plants they offer, in addition to cut flowers. My Lazy River succulent was beautiful and my sister loved it. Also, they sent me a photo of the freshly planted arrangement before they delivered it, a very thoughtful and surprising touch. Lastly, even though I didn’t get the order in till the afternoon, it was delivered the very next morning. Oh yes ,their website is very robust and extremely easy to use. And fun to look at. I ordered from British Columbia, Canada, for delivery to a relative at Swedish Medical Center in Seattle. I saw that LaVassar had very good Google reviews. I requested the arrangement with an opaque vase, and specific ribbons. LaVassar sends pictures, which is great, and I was very satisfied with the final arrangement vs. cost. The arrangement was ordered on March 8, for delivery on March 14. When I contacted them on the day of delivery, at noon it was still at the shop. Initially I was disappointed with the speed of delivery, and my original comment reflected this. However, Judy called me in Canada afterward, to explain that the roses I wanted- orange and yellow- were special order, delivered only every few days. She preferred to wait for the fresh flowers coincidentally delivered today, which would last much longer. The fact that she did not hesitate to follow up and call me with this explanation was a very good customer experience. Communication matters. 5 stars.

We met with Joanne for an initial appointment and she quickly picked up on what we were looking for and had some great suggestions. Over the next few months, she was quick to respond with any changes I was making to the order and always answered my questions. When the day arrived, the flowered turned out even better than I expected! We had many complements on them as well as the fireplace display she set up with greenery draped over it with more flowers. If you need beautiful, fresh flowers sent in the Seattle area, this is the place to purchase them. The ordering process was extremely simple online, they actually send you a photo of the arrangement prior to delivering (which was over the top in customer care/service) and the flowers were delivered exactly within the time frame stated. I spent a solid hour (or two) shopping around online for florists in the Ballard area who can do a same day delivery. Most shops were too expensive for the arrangements provided, and didn't offer a lot of variety. FINALLY I came across LaVassar and I'm so glad I did! Their website is easy to navigate, their arrangements are inexpensive and stunning for the price. They provided a picture of the actual arrangement that was delivered, which is always a concern when ordering from unknown florists - not knowing what the actual arrangement will look like. They also sent a confirmation when the flowers were delivered. Under the 'special instructions' I wrote "give her a hug for me" as my aunt was having a tough day - hence the flowers. The sweet woman who delivered the flowers ACTUALLY GAVE HER A HUG! I was blown away. Amazing service, stunning quality arrangements for the price. If I ever need a florist in Seattle again I will be coming to LaVassar. HIGHLY recommend!

More than a week later, I pulled some of the stale flowers to freshen up the bouquet. New blooms are still coming. Wow. This new bouquet will last another week or more. Excellent photos and very user-friendly navigation from browsing to checkout. I chose LaVassar because it was a local business that was fairly close to my home - I didn't need them delivered, and because my daughter likes roses and hydrangeas and the LaVassar website had a pretty arrangement with those flowers. It cost a whole lot more than the 99-cent markdown bouquets at QFC, but it was totally worth it! The arrangement is gorgeous. My daughter adores it. It's more beautiful than it looks in the photo. Can't recommend this florist enough! Peace Lily was exactly was pictured on website. They went above and beyond with delivery. When they went to deliver no one was home and because of the cold snap & downpour we were experiencing they didn't want to leave it on front porch.
