Melissa and the team is amazing! Everyone including myself was surprised by the floral decor on that day. They showed up on time and finished the work as planned - everything went so smoothly and thanks again for making my wedding ceremony so beautiful. Before the wedding, Melissa walked through budget, flower arrangement and color selections with me patiently. I am so happy that I found this amazing florist!

Melissa did an AMAZING, incredible, wondrous, *insert all positive words here* job with our flowers for our early September wedding. From the beginning, she was easy to communicate with and brainstorm with. She completely understood my vision and respected our budget for what we needed that day. I honestly made me nervous not knowing what our floral arrangements would look like until the morning of the wedding, but my goodness did she knock it out if the park. I chose Anthera Floral for my wedding after I saw Melissa's arrangements on her website and instagram. Melissa's style of work is so creative and beautiful! She does amazing color palates and she is able to create so much depth and texture to her pieces. I did not know what I wanted, but I just told Melissa my wedding colors and that I liked big blooms. I did not give much specifics at all, but Melissa and her team were professional and she gave me a mood board that looked amazing. I am so happy with how the flowers turned out at my wedding last week - Especially the wedding arch she put together for us. It was gorgeous and made the perfect backdrop for our ceremony. I was referred to Anthera Floral from a friend who went to a friends wedding in Seattle that used them, and I have no regrets. Flowers were not originally my main focus for my wedding so I gave Melissa minimal directions but a little bit of the vision I had, and told her I trusted her to do her thing. Our ceremony was small but Melissa took a very simple Pinterest vision board and transformed the greenhouse where we had our wedding into the most beautiful spring floral-scape. Melissa is a really talented florist. I asked her to create a table arrangement for a birthday, and from a Pinterest board of inspiration images, she created a really unique, creative, and beautiful centerpiece with plenty of extras for the table. It literally made the room and I got so many comments about how beautiful they were. I would not hesitate to work with her again. Also, she is a lovely human- easy to communicate and work with. Flowers at a wedding are like makeup on a face. Just like a face won’t look “ready” without make up, a venue won’t look ready for a wedding without flowers, no matter how nice that venue might be. And just like how the right application of makeup makes all the difference - e.g. Natalie Portman refined vs. Jersey Shore garish - the right kind of flowers can make all the difference for a wedding. Thankfully, we had Anthera Floral to help with that. Just like well done makeup, the flowers were subtle and elegant, accentuating my sister’s beauty and the ambience of the space at the Four Seasons Hotel, rather than trying to create it all on its own. I have been a long-time admirer of Melissa’s floral work and aesthetic. I work as a commercial prop stylist on photography shoots, and I occasionally need to style a table scene or interior shoot with flowers. I wanted to feel more confident when these requests come up. I reached out to Melissa to inquire about receiving a private lesson so that I could learn the basics of selection, care, and arranging flowers. Our day started bright and early at the local floral market where Melissa presented me with a syllabus! She taught me so much about the market!
