We had the pleasure of hiring them to do our wedding in October of 2020. Despite the uncertainty of the time they were flexible with our plan and did not disappoint! They are amazing people to work with and know. I think their work and creativity speaks for itself! Aaron and Nick made our wedding absolutely dreamy. Working with Unordinary Omen for our wedding flowers was one of the best decisions we made in our wedding planning process, and I would highly recommend them to others looking for a wedding florist. Aaron was warm and understanding from our first phone call, and really understood the vision we wanted for the day- muted jewel tones with texture that felt like an English garden. UO worked with us to obtain the look we wanted within our budget, repurposing certain elements to be reused throughout the day. Everything was delivered promptly and set up without any need for direction from us on the day of the wedding. Without a doubt, the thorough & thoughtful work that goes in to creating a wedding is largely dependent upon the chosen venue. Our experience was different. It was Unordinary Omen’s design & execution that took center stage. Aaron & Nic worked diligently to bring our vision to life. Their implementation was creative & easily allowed repurposing of many of the ceremony arrangements to be used for dinner, dancing, & cocktails. Their color selection & textures for the flowers they chose expertly complimented the season, our wedding’s color scheme AND the venue. It’s not often that elegant, dramatic, romantic, & memorable can be used in the same sentence to describe an event… yet that is EXACTLY what Unordinary Omen did for our wedding. WOW! Aaron & Nic are artists, architects, designers, creators, and wish-fulfillers. Even though Unordinary Omen designs for elite, very stylish events, they imbued my single bouquet of gratitude for a family member with the same level of compassion, beauty, structure, joy, and personalization. They even consider how arrangement elements move; that is an art form in itself. It's like getting front-row center Broadway tickets for the same price as obstructed-view balcony seats or having the London Symphony Orchestra play your wedding march instead of a couple music students from the local college. If you're looking for floral arrangements in the Milwaukee area, there's no reason to settle for amazon, ftd, or ordinary florists when you can have something like this for a similar or even lower cost. The service is amazing too: I ordered online overnight and though I explicitly mentioned there was no hurry for delivery, my loved one received it the same day. I also sheepishly requested "a white rose or two" in the bouquet for personal reasons and, well, you can see their generosity and thoughtfulness for yourself... two dozen?! And the roses are just part of this $80 work of art which is worth many times that. Thank you UO! You are loved.
