Melisa is an exceptionally astute professional who had the experience and patience to guide us through six different plans as we prepared a wedding during the pandemic. She was always there to steer us in the right direction and was respectful of family traditions and the likes and dislikes of the bride and groom. Melisa is easy to work with, organized, and detail-oriented -- and she kept us on track with the many, many decisions that had to be made. Melisa also recommended excellent vendors and helped us negotiate for what we wanted and needed. On the night of the wedding, many of our guests told us how pleasant Melisa and her team were and how they helped things run very smoothly. It was a fantastic celebration and Melisa played a critical role. We would highly, highly recommend her.

With 3 months to go before my son's Bar Mitzvah, Melisa secured a spectacular entertainment and decor vendor, organized everything and helped bring our vision to life. Melisa with The Event of a Lifetime was amazing in planning my son's bar mitzvah. She provided organization, vendor recommendations, thoughtful pointers & reminders and a much needed time table to plan the big day. Melisa thinks of everything!! Melisa is extremely creative and in the know as to what is new & exciting for teen entertainment & activities. Emails and phone calls were promptly answered. As the coronavirus pandemic derailed our much anticipated celebration (lockdown occurred 3 weeks prior), she was proactive with alternative arrangements. Most importantly she is a wonderful partner in planning your "event of a lifetime".

Melisa is the best party planner there is. We have used her for all three of our children’s mitzvahs, the last postponed due to Covid, and she hit it out the park all three times. I have several friends who change party planners after one event and I think it speaks volumes about Melisa that we used her for all 3 of our kids. Melisa, the owner, helped me with every step of the Bar Mitzvah planning process, from selecting vendors for decor, entertainment, food and to ironing out every last detail with them so nothing was overlooked. Melisa is wonderful to work with. She is extremely organized and clearly has a lot of experience planning big events. I was never worried that something was going to be missed or forgotten about, bc Melisa was on top of everything! I was blown away by the end product and will definitely be using her to plan my daughter's BM in a few years!

We used Melissa at the last minute to pull together a wedding in 4 weeks! She was great and so organized. She had venders lined up within 2 days. She bought creative ideas to us that we had never considered. Her ability to embrace the Covid environment and still deliver an incredible wedding experience was extraordinary. Vendors were top notch across the board. She added live musicians to a DJ which made such a difference! The flowers were spectacular and so unique. Even my mother in law commented how beautiful and different they were. She and her assistant Maura were committed to the wedding day and handled all those things that came up. It was great to be able to just enjoy the day with family. Everyone had such fun for a small family wedding. At the end of the weekend the best review was from the bride and groom who said it was a perfect wedding event and they were so happy to have had the wedding!

Melisa not only managed the complex process with extraordinary thought, care and thoroughness....she did an unbelievable job bringing our vision for the party to life - the event was stunning in every way.
