Reviews of Imperia Lake Union
Nidal Dirini
Fantastic wedding venue! My wife and I celebrated our Union there 2-2022. They were amazing to work with (also working with you as humans vs a business deal), reasonable in price, and very responsive. We couldn’t say more positive things about this venue!

Imperia Lake Union has done some beautiful remodeling over the past couple of years. It still has it's intimate, vintage charm but with some added glam and polishing. Immediately when touring, we felt like it was "the one", but it also checked very important logistical boxes too. It was super easy for guests to get to from Seattle, it had on-site suites if we decided to get ready there, it accommodated outdoor ceremonies but could switch to indoor if there was an unexpected weather issue, and most importantly - we had the option for in-house florals, catering, and great bar options.
JJ created the most gorgeous florals and went above and beyond to accommodate pick-ups, deliveries, etc. including some unexpected delivery asks that I didn't know about until well after the wedding. She just handled it without hesitation.
Tasia was also super on top of every detail. Anything I ever mentioned in email to her would be noted on our file almost immediately. It was super clear what our package included, what add-ons were available, and I always received a response within a day or two.
Most importantly, the team at Imperia works hard to bring your vision to life. I'm sure I may have been one of the more particular brides - I had pretty specific visions of what I wanted for decor, food, and florals. But they never made me feel like a nuisance, they just worked with me to get it done. Trusting wedding vendors is hard because you have no idea what's going to happen until it's the big day! And you either sink, or swim. Thinking about how beautifully Imperia executed actually makes me teary. My breath was taken away when I saw our venue and everything managed by Imperia (food, florals, decor) brought a huge smile to my face.
I can't tell you how many people complimented us on the food and the decor. I had one vendor tell us it was the best wedding meal they had been given all year. I had other guests (both young and old) tell us it was the most beautiful wedding they had ever been to.
Imperia is truly a unique and special venue. I'm glad we got in when we did, because it's only going to continue to grow. I could easily think of 1000 more great things to say, but the point is - everyone there freaking rocks. From the event planning team to the bartenders, everyone was amazing.

As a photographer, I love the Imperia Lake Union! They have a great place for a wedding under the very cool art deco main ballroom ceiling and chandeliers that gets even better during the reception. The arrangement of the tables around the center dancefloor makes the space feel more intimate and inclusive of the guests as they can hang out at their tables and feel a part of the event when they aren't dancing. They are also very close to some nice place for portraits either walking or a very short drive to Gas Works, UW or just walking down to Fairview Avenue and Park. And finally, their staff is a joy to work with. They are very organized and helpful as well as just being nice people.

Booking our wedding at Imperia Lake Union was one of our quickest wedding decisions and one of the absolute best decisions we made! I cannot say enough great things about the women who work here and helped us through planning a pandemic wedding. When we had to make the decision to postpone our wedding day Imperia was more than gracious and accommodating. We obviously very much looked forward to our day and we did so for a whole extra year. We had a very clear vision of what we wanted, Tasia and JJ made sure everything was perfect.
We originally booked this venue with the previous owners under the name Lake Union Cafe. The new owners have done some amazing upgrades to the bathrooms, staging rooms, and overall appearance while still keeping the vintage, Art Deco, vibe we so loved.
Our guests continually told us how much they loved the venue, the ambiance, the menu. Many described it as fancy and glamorous with a touch of vintage which was exactly what I was going for. When we talk about that day with our guests they always mention the food! Thank you Tasia, JJ, the kitchen crew, chef, you all made this day exceptional. Thank you!

We had our wedding here two weeks ago! If we had a chance to re-do the whole thing, we’d still pick Imperia in a heartbeat.
Our priorities were (1) low-effort, (2) not wildly expensive, (3) good food, (4) comfortable for our guests. On all counts, Imperia was the best possible choice.
(1) Because they do the catering in-house and the venue is already gorgeous, there was really minimal vendor coordination on our part — just the venue and the photographer!
(2) We priced out a LOT of venues in and around Seattle — Imperia wasn’t the absolute cheapest, but it was easily the least expensive for the level of service provided.
(3) The food was REALLY good, our guests loved it! They also happily accommodated some non-standard dietary needs, which we super appreciated.
(4) It’s a lovely, cozy atmosphere with cushy booths on each wall, so even our over-70yrs guests were happy and comfortable.
As big bonuses, the staff are LOVELY. Taisa helped us a lot with the planning — neither of us have planned a wedding before, so she saved us quite a few beginner mistakes! She was also really kind and helpful when we had a weird banking issue, which we so appreciate! During the entire party, JJ was on top of everything — she kept the timeline on track, kept drinks in our hands, and made sure we got to eat all that tasty food! I didn’t catch the names of the Chef, bartender, or kitchen staff, but many thanks to them as well!
We don’t have our photos yet, but I’ll make sure some get posted — pictures don’t really do the space justice though, it’s so lovely.

We just got married at Imperia and the entire experience exceeded what we could have possibly hoped for. Tasia and JJ are professionals in every sense of the word, covering every base and bringing up details we would have forgotten, but still being friendly and wonderful during the entire journey. The venue was already so gorgeous that we paid for candles, needed pretty much nothing else for decor, and it looked like something out of a movie! The food was _actually_ good (how often do you hear that for a wedding venue?), the bartenders were on point and just incredible, and there’s also a *secret room* that we got to get ready! Several of our guests commented on how beautiful the location was and how amazing the staff was the entire night, and it’s hard to imagine a better experience. Thank you again Imperia for blowing it out of the water in every way possible!

I left a review 4 years ago for what was then Lake Union Cafe. It is time for an update as this is the all new IMPERIA Lake Union. The new owners are doing a gorgeous job & the staff is fabulous. As an event professional who has both worked and attended many events here I can assure you that it is a wonderful choice that you can feel good about, more now than ever.
DJ Joe Matt
We had our event here last week to launch our new company and it was absolutely stunning! All night, potential clients kept complimenting how fantastic the venue was.
From our tray passed champagne, to our sweet and savory popcorn, the beautiful charcuterie board, and the super tasty sliders everyone loved the food.
The staff were so attentive and friendly. I know for absolute certain where our next event will be. I can’t recommend this team enough. So professional. All my correspondences were addressed swiftly during our planning process.
The venue was made available for us multiple times while planning with my team, photographer, and day of coordinator.
Be sure and ask for Tasia Fisher. She’s the absolute best. Thank you Imperia Lake Union. Here’s to future business. You really helped make our business shine!

We had a Roaring 20's themed wedding at Imperia Lake Union that surpassed all our expectations and wildest dreams. Tasia, JJ, and their team were impeccable-- from communication for the 1.5 years leading up to the wedding to the details of the day of, they made sure we were happy. Multiple guests told us it was the best wedding they'd ever attended. We had no idea it could be so fun and seamless, and we are SO grateful to the Imperia team for hosting a truly perfect day!

I attended a wedding held at Imperia Lake Union. I thought the restaurant was nicely decorated, the staff was friendly, and buffet food was very good. The restaurant was clean and seemed to be well run. The bar tenders were nice and helpful. Parking across the street was convenient. It was a very enjoyable evening.
Rebecca Irwin
We threw the best party of our lives for our wedding all thanks to the help and expertise of the Imperia team. The space was perfect, the food was fantastic, the day of coordination was so helpful, and most importantly we had so much FUN! Thank you Imperia!

From a restaurant years ago to a dedicated event venue to it's current and best iteration, Imperia Lake Union is the perfect choice for so many event needs. What a gorgeous job the new owners are doing! As an event professional, I have worked here and attended a number of industry and association gatherings here and it is better than ever. Everything you need is right here in one place with one of the most gorgeous views of Lake Union.
Elyana Falk Crosby
Imperia Lake Union was a perfect venue for our 120 person wedding. From the amazing food, great (and local) alcohol selection, to their team that knows their venue inside and out and is beyond helpful, I could not recommend Imperia Lake Union more!! We hope to use them for future events!
Mel Allen
We attended a wedding and reception here and the venue has the 1920's deco vibe from it's original build. Beautiful detail throughout, wrought iron, tin tiles, belted ceiling fan system, etc, fun atmosphere. The staff was friendly and fast, requests were responded to quickly and with a smile. Parking wasn't an issue either, as they have their own lot. Would definitely recommend for events.
Russell Fuller
I booked Imperia Lake Union for my company party. Everyone had an amazing time. First off, the recently renovated venue is absolutely gorgeous with wonderful views of Lake Union! The theme of the interior is art deco which pairs perfectly with the historic building. The hidden doors were also lots of fun. The food was incredible. Everything from the appetizers to desert was delicious. And to top everything else, the staff was very friendly and professional. I felt extremely well taken care of from the moment I walked in to the moment I left. I will definitely book this venue again. Thank you!
Sarah Mitchel
We are thrilled with how the Imperia handled our wedding and absolutely recommend them for your events if you're looking for an art-deco, glamourous and affordable venue. For context, we signed up for Tier 2 coordination in addition to a customized Elegance Package.
Though I'm from the Seattle area, it felt like I was planning a destination wedding since my husband and I live in France full-time. Our pre-wedding coordinator was Tasia, JJ was our day-of-coordinator, and Oscar was our banquet captain. I must have emailed Tasia about 100 times between our first visit to the venue and our post-wedding comms, and she never left an email sit longer than 48 hours and was always super accomodating with our time-zone differences. It was so reassuring to have her available to answer the nit-picky questions and help me ensure that everything was in order for our big day.
JJ handled our florals AND our day-of coordination. My husband specifically asked me to call out how helpful she was - and I want to thank her for that glass of wine pre-ceremony to calm my nerves! She set up everything the way we asked!
Oscar was our banquet captain and handled everything at the end of the night. From our perspective, it was absolutely seamless and our guests had nothing but positive things to say about their experience.
We only have one small feedback point: I wish our MC/DJ and JJ had coordinated better amongst themselves because sometimes they would come find us to ask a question we'd just answered, but that's also on us for not clearly identifying a "chain of command" or explicitly asking them to work together. It therefore has no bearing on our rating or experience, just a note for next time!
Overall, our big day was so special and full of joy thanks in LARGE part to the dedication and professionalism of the Imperia staff.

Get. Married. Here. The food and decor/ambience are impeccable. Tasia made planning an absolute breeze and is a wonderful human being to boot! JJ kept everything moving and on the rails day of! We could not be happier with our experience and the value to be had. "Thank you" doesn't come close.
Catherine Kauffmann
Imperia Lake Union made our wedding experience beyond wonderful. The event coordinators, Tasia and JJ, were organized and quick to answer all of our wedding-related questions. The venue is gorgeous - an absolute piece of Seattle history; the food is dynamite (our guests raved about their meal); and the quality of service is impeccable. One of our favorite aspects of Imperia Lake Union is that the dance floor is front and center! Thank you, Imperia Lake Union, for the magical night!
Hedy Schlaht
It was an amazing wedding venue! The food the decor the bar, the dance music, the fun games for bride and groom. highly recommend it.
Liz Burr
I can't say enough good things about this venue. We came from out of state to get married here and JJ & Tasia were so accommodating from day 1 through the wedding. The day of the wedding, we had a super minor hiccup with our parking and they immediately found a solution for us. The food was amazing, the staff equally as amazing. The newly renovated venue is absolutely gorgeous. Honestly, our wedding day was beyond perfect thanks to JJ & Tasia.
Alexandria Roberts
The Lake Union Cafe is wonderful to work with and the food is delicious! Due to Covid we sadly were not able to have our wedding as planned at Lake Union Cafe but we were still able to keep them for catering and everyone LOVED the food! Their staff is beyond kind and accommodating.
Wm. Andrew Hackworth
Great venue for a medium-sized wedding. Bathrooms a bit dated. Staff professional. Food was incredible- some of the best I’ve had at a wedding.
Marty Herrera
We love this place! We had our wedding here in 2016, it is a beautiful venue. Prces were very competitive and the staff was a pleasure to work with. The food was fantastic (we still have family members who bring it up years later!), and the service was incredibly friendly. Fast forward to current day, we celebrated our 4th anniversary by ordering food from their new takeout service. The portions were unbelievably generous, the food is still amazing and their wine prices were a steal for takeout. To top everything off since my wife told them it was our anniversary they gave us extra treats and drew a big happy anniversary sign on our bag! They even let us wander around and take photos with our daughter too :) Even though things are strange with the pandemic, the folks at LUC made this anniversary very special and let us recapture some of the magic of our special day. You really can't go wrong with this place!

Tasia and the staff at Lake Union Cafe were a joy to work with as my fiancé and I planned our Covid-friendly, micro wedding in Jan. 2021. The space is elegant, food is delicious, and everything came off beautifully. JJ arranges the most stunning flowers, and I loved every bit of her work. I highly, highly recommend using LUC for any event. I felt valued and the whole thing was a team effort. Thank you!
Tiffany Hou
I can't imagine our wedding being any better than it was. To be honest, LUC was the first venue and only venue we toured. We did a ton of research online and were drawn to it based on photos alone. After touring and meeting with JJ and Tasia, we knew it was the place for us.
* The staff were incredibly responsive and open to our questions throughout the whole planning process. A day of coordinator is also included, so that took a lot of stress/anxiety away.
* The venue space is absolutely gorgeous and requires very little additional decor (if any).
* Food was amazing (moist chicken)!! Our guests keep telling us how much they loved the food. LUC also made sure we actually got to eat by plating up appetizers and dinner for us.
* So flexible. They provide a lot of amenities in-house (at super reasonable prices), but also allow you to bring a lot of your own stuff if you choose (alcohol, dessert, florals/decor).
Rachel Visker
Great winter wedding venue! The staff was wonderful and efficient. The venue was gorgeous and the food was amazing. After the wedding we got a ton of compliments on how great the food was and how beautiful the venue was.
We highly recommend it especially in the winter, it's so warm and cozy with the gorgeous light fixtures.
Jenni Nadler
We had our wedding there and things couldn't have gone better! The venue is gorgeous and people couldn't stop talking about how good the food was. We planned our wedding from halfway around the world and it was such a relief to know that Tayler and Tasia had everything under control. It was beautiful and perfect!

I was at a party here and it was absolutely unforgettable! The drinks were great and the food was too. Great experience and I will come again.

I chose LUC for my wedding ceremony and reception, If I could do it again I’d choose LUC without a doubt! I can’t say enough kind words about the staff, the beautiful location, the service we received was outstanding. Also, as a bride and planning myself, being able to have everything (the flowers, the cake and the catering) all under one roof was so extremely helpful. So much attention to detail in everything they did and it really showed. The venue is timeless and our wedding planner Tasia and her team were so patient with the million questions I constantly had. The stunning custom designed flowers (that were much less expensive than anywhere in the area I found) were jaw dropping, black isn’t your typical color but the florist JJ made the most beautiful pieces and I’d never seen anything like it anywhere else and that was import to me. The food (that we got to have a tasting of before we made our selections) was so delicious and being exhausted afterwords, we had tons of leftovers that almost tasted as good as the first time we ate, was so nice and did I say delicious!? We also had a custom designed cake that tasted just as amazing at it looked! We will definitely be using this venue again I can say that for sure! They made our dreams come true!
Shurui Sun
Very happy with our wedding at LUC! The venue was beautiful, the food was fantastic, and the cake was delicious. Tasia and the team at LUC were supportive throughout the process, even serving agreeing rice on the side for a nominal fee (which is not on the menu!). They were considerate of our budget and allowed us to do our own alcohol and decorations. Tayler, our day-of-coordinator, was amazingly helpful and helped us stick to schedule from start to end, which has not been the case for every other wedding I've attended. We received tons of praises from our guests about the overall event. I would not hesitate to recommend LUC to any couple!
Joni Shinsato
Lake Union Cafe and their staff were my knights in shinning armor! My husband (omg!) and I were one of the many couples affected by the Monte Cristo Ballroom closure- luckily we had a few months to recoup and replan. Luckily Lake Union was free on our date and once we signed we were able to hit the ground running and plan an AMAZING event. They answered all my questions quickly and were very accommodating when I asked for things like "can we play the superbowl after the ceremony"? Day of: the venue was gorgeous and the food was delicious. Once the day began I was able to just let go and see all my plans unfold and it was magical. I have nothing but positive things to say about my wedding day and I attribute that to all my vendors but I definitely couldn't have done it without LUC.
Megan Russell
My husband and I just had our wedding here last weekend and it was beautiful! The location is so unique, with a loungy, intimate atmosphere and beautiful fixtures! The staff worked so hard to make sure the day went smoothly and the two main staff members, Dann and Victoria, were such a pleasure to work with. We had so many compliments on the food, staff and venue itself; if I could have another wedding there I would!!! Loved it!
Catherine Watkins
We decided to have our cake made by the Lake Union Cafe bakery. All I have to say is WOW!!! Not only was did it look exactly how we wanted it to look, but the flavor was amazing. So many guests said that it was one of the best wedding cakes they've ever had. It was a white cake with fresh raspberries w/ raspberry mouse. I highly recommend the bakery even if you decide not to use the venue!
Amanda Lundy
My husband and I just had our wedding at Lake Union Cafe and could not be more pleased we chose Lake Union Cafe as our venue for our ceremony and reception.
The venue itself is beautiful, but what truly sets Lake Union Cafe apart from everywhere else my husband and I looked at is the staff. Dann, Victoria and the rest of the Lake Union Cafe staff are absolutely amazing! I am not a person to pass along responsibility easily, but I felt more than comfortable handing over the reins to Dann and his team. They had every single thing I could have thought of covered and before I knew it even needed to be done. Not only were they great to work with on rehearsal and wedding day, but they were so helpful throughout the planning process. They gave me advice on how to save money, help things to run smoothly, etc.
The dinner and cake were also amazing! Everyone I spoke to at and after the wedding raved about how much they enjoyed the food and how attentive the staff was.
At the wedding not only was the staff attentive to my husband and I but they made sure both our parents and grandparents were very well taken care of and comfortable throughout the entire evening. Dann was on top of everything from offering to plate dinner for my husbands grandpa, doctoring up my mother in laws shoes to make them walk-able, quickly tracking down my lipgloss before being introduced as husband and wife, busting out safety pins to fix my bustle when a button ripped off while dancing and I'm sure hundreds of other things that went over my head.
I would recommend Lake Union Cafe, Dann and Victoria to everyone I know! I would not have changed a single thing and could not be happier with how everything turned out. Thank you for going above and beyond to make our day!
Georgia Herren
We had our ceremony and reception here and it was fantastic!! The venue is beautiful, the food was delicious and the service was flawless. It set the back drop for the best night of our lives and we couldn’t be happier with our experience.
Tatiana Stone
Gorgeous venue with amazing vintage interior design. The views of the lake are wonderful at night, the lights dance on the water. Went to a magical holiday party there, would strongly recommend!
Cheyenne Gillooly
We were guests. For a really warm day it was nice and cool in here
Danielle Johnson
I love this place! They made an amazing wedding cake for us and created a similar cake for our anniversary. They always have excellent customer service when I work with hem. I highly recommend them for any occasion!
Melanie DeGrow
When my husband and I were looking for venues for our wedding in June of 2012, someone recommended Lake Union Cafe, once we saw this amazing place we stopped looking. LUC made it was an absolutely perfect night, mostly thanks to the caring staff! Leading up to the Wedding, Victoria kept us on track with vender recommendations, dates items were needed, rehearsal and wedding date reminders for our numbers, menus completed, etc. On our wedding day everything went off without a hitch; Victoria had all our decor, escort cards, candy station in place and handled all the vendors with their deliveries. There was no stress placed on us, we could just enjoy our day.
Through out the night we were given the royal treatment, anything we needed LUC was on top of it. They prepared our dinner plates from the buffet, anytime we didn't have a drink they brought us a new cocktail/water/wine, what ever my husband and I needed. And to top it off as we departed for our wedding night they sent us with a "to go" package of food, a piece of cake and a bottle of champagne. It was simply AMAZING.
To add to my original review (AND CONTINUE HOW WONDERFUL LUC IS):
For our 1 year anniversary I reached out to Victoria to see if it was possible to recreate our wedding night dinner. LUC was so amazing, Victoria and the Chef were on board! When I came to pick everything up they had an abundance of our exact meal, with instructions on how long to reheat and at what temp. My husband and I were instantly taken back to our wedding night with our amazing meal. We can not thank them enough.
We would recommend LUC to any couple looking for a unique memorable venue for their wedding day. They were attentive, creative, the food was fantastic, the staff was amazing and they know how to make a special day go off without a hitch!

Not the good view you would expect given the name. The staff were a bit testy. The DJ was not very good. Three layout isn't conducive to large parties (greater than 100) But it was a cute place, good dance floor.
Steven Callow
The event was my daughter's wedding, and it couldn't have been a happier party. From the pre-planning to the beginning to the final moment, everything ran so smoothly and efficiently. Victoria and Jimmy are so very good at overseeing the entire process. Our large, rather complex event ran seamlessly. I can't recommend this place and these people highly enough! Thank you so much.

It's great to see an artist as talented as Kevin Moulder receive such well-deserved recognition by KUOW and other local news outlets. My then-fiancé Ken & I visited several of Seattle's best-regarded bakeries specializing in cakes for weddings and other parties/gatherings, but Kevin and Lake Union Cafe & Bakery stood out as superior on a number of levels. The time and care Kevin took to visit with us, to hear our vision and answer our questions, and then to offer extremely helpful suggestions and expand on possibilities we had not considered was outstanding. Second, the amazing variety of cake flavor/frosting combinations was by far the most extensive *and* best tasting of any we tried. Kevin's beautiful creation received more compliments than we could count, and was a beautiful and much-enjoyed addition to our great celebration. We couldn't be more pleased with our decision to work with him. We wholeheartedly recommend Kevin Moulder his excellent work to anyone considering a wedding or other festive event!

I held a celebratory event at LUC this past July 2015. I didn't want to worry about the event and wanted to be able to enjoy my own party. LUC made that happen for me. I used LUC's florist for the table flowers and two large displays; the flowers were fresh and beautiful. I used LUC's bakery for the wonderful and delicious desserts. The food was plentiful and delicious. My guests had a great time and were highly complimentary of the venue, food, and beverages. I enjoyed the party immensely and so did my guests. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend LUC and its staff.

What used to be a bakery is now an event venue with the honor of having hosted one of the first same sex weddings in the city of Seattle.
I went to the tasting event on January 25. It was my first time to visit the café and as I entered through an incredibly old revolving door, heavy with rich dark wood, I was immediately drawn to the gathering space. The lighting was warm and somewhat dark but a welcome respite after working all day in an office filled with the sounds of computers and the glare of fluorescent lights. The small gas fireplace evoked comfort, as did the candle lanterns scattered throughout. My eye was drawn to the large overhead fans, which in and of themselves, were ordinary, but ran on long black belts that connected two fans together. Just as visually interesting was the ceiling. I’m not sure of the exact material but it looked like copper—pressed and detailed in squares. Once the Hor d’oeuvres were ready we lined up and gathered a multitude of delectable tid bits, found our seats—in a comfortable crescent shaped booth facing the dance floor-- and settled in for an evening of music and food.
Covered in white damask, our table held a solid dark blue satin runner, a small vase of white Hydrangeas and four small white boxes tied in a turquoise blue sheer ribbon. Our booth was set on the perimeter a faced a row of small tables bordering a generous dance floor. A baby grand piano sat to the left of the stage and very ornate, old, beautiful chandeliers provided more of the same warm, comfortable lighting. Sconces decorated the walls behind the booths and we were told that all lighting is available in whatever color the parties wished (lights were all red for the same sex marriages).
The staff was attentive and eager to answer any questions. We tasted so much good food that near the end of the event my taste buds grew weary and it became hard to differentiate. The chef was experimenting with a few new entrees and these were designated on the menu with asterisks. There were one or two items that we collectively did not care for and one of those was the Mole Saturated Chicken, which was noted by asterisks and had not yet been perfected.
Because it was already dark outside, the view of the water could not be seen but I did walk to the back, press my face against the glass window and see a few boats and the reflecting calm waters of Lake Union. The Lake Union Café has an old 1940’s vibe. It’s a beautiful, classic venue with rich detail that will provide any group with a wonderful experience and a multitude of gorgeous photo opportunities.
One last comment: each small white box held a milk chocolate filled with soft, buttery caramel.
Nick Jones
We ordered food from there to go, it was amazing! We got the pork shanks, Mac & cheese, veggies and dessert. It was so good. We went back the next week. Well worth it!
LeninsLemonade
Went to a wedding there, the food was OK, I really just had the bread and cranberry juice. Not the greatest place for kids, definitely got the vibe that it was designed with 21+ in mind.
Antonie Bodley
Perfect venue for a wedding! The 1930s steampunk-like style was perfect for our unconventional couple. Big dance floor and lovely views of the lake.
Lana Weinmann
So lucky to get take home meals from Lake Union Cafe during the stay home order. It was so good and huge portions that fed the whole family. Thanks LUC!
Hannah Buckendorf
I still have amazing feelings about how well things went at our wedding three years ago. Lake Union Cafe and their staff were the best.
Sharon Larson
I moved to Eastlake in July 2016. This was the first place my friends and I went. IT'S NOW JANUARY, We go to a different place every weekend and, BY FAR THIS IS THE BEST PLACE I HAVE BEEN TO. MY ADVICE WOULD BE...IF YOU WANT GREAT SERVICE AND GREAT FOOD, THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO... YOU WILL WALK OUT HAPPY😀 …
Peter Crofut
Overall, the service wasn't ideal. The bartender was super grumpy @ first, he did lighten up over the evening. The entrees were cold. I bumped you to 3 stars vs 2.
Payam Sabouni
Very helpful and nice staff . My friends had their weddings there , and that was the best decision they made for their wedding. Highly recommended.
Wesley Bourgault
Beautiful venue. Have driven by there a million times and never knew that it was a wedding venue. Great size and layout.

Such a beautiful piece of Seattle history!!

They were great! They were affordable, answered all of our questions in a timely manner and were flexible with changes we had to make at the end of the planning process.
Bryce Kerker
Had a wonderful company event here with multiple bars, band, and dance floor. Food, drinks, and nad were all great (~100 people).
Steve Cragar
Beautiful venue, good parking for Seattle, event went very well. Would recommend booking many types of events here.

Imperia is a restaurant and venue located close to the bridge on the Eastlake side of Lake Union which is an early to mid 1900's themed place. There's some street parking and a close by parking lot, so its easily accessible. They have tons of tables inside as well as a few outside, including a bar right in the front. The staff here are great, but the food is amazing. We came here for a wedding so it was used as a venue space and they did a great job at setting it up.

My wife and I had our wedding here and we can't say enough about the experience. The staff (Tasia, JJ, and others) were helpful, attentive and made our special day feel totally unique.
The venue itself is gorgeous with a great Art Deco/ Turn of the Century vibe that fit the mood for a winter wedding perfectly.
