Beautiful place to sit around and enjoy the beauty of nature! Garden manager walked me through, and I learned a lot about blooming perennials. Plan to visit annual plant sale.

As a professional DJ ( PartyTime DJ and Event Services LLC), the Graden Center is one of my favorite venues to play music. Easy load in and out, helpful staff and great acoustics for the size of venue.

We just love this (small but mighty) Garden. Our favorite are the Fairy Gardens for kids of all ages. Pure magic...!!! Thanks..!!!

I highly recommend this space, it’s a hidden gem in the Heights. Chris & GiGi provided excellent service from our initial booking to on-site support the day of our event. We’ve attended a wedding reception here as well as hosted two celebration of life events. Plus, as a non profit, booking with them lends your support to a local organization.

Thank you to Albuquerque Garden Center and staff for renting us your facility for our Wedding June 4, 2022. The venue was just beautiful, and your staff was so helpful. Will recommend you to others.

This is a pretty cool park in Albuquerque. You can take your children to the skate park or the Rose garden without too much concern with homeless people are asking you for money for tdrugs

I especially love the learning gardens and the folks who work and volunteer!

It's a beautiful place. I came for a wedding. If you just want to sit around and enjoy the natural beauty it's here.

Beautiful orchids this past weekend! However, there were NAILS all in the parking lot! BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU VISIT. It does not seem like there is staff to clean or secure the parking lot in any way. Next to skate park. There are signs saying "park at your own risk". Nails in your tires is a big risk to go see some flowers.

Friendly greeting, more help inside.Nice small display. More plant ID.,needed for one's not familiar. Quiet.

Always nice people when they have the yearly rummage sale. Everyone is very knowledgeable about all kinds of Plant. while I was @ the sell today I heard 2 ladies discussing how to grow avocados. I learned that Pulling the seeds in water isnt good because it builds bacteria and could actually compromise the seeds health. when You are reedy to Plant an avocado get a seed that is cracked and it will grow like crazy. The crack has to be in the seed already it cant be a crack you might make when opening the avocado.

I just had my wedding here a few days ago and it was spectacular! :) The people with the Albuquerque Garden Center were super nice! They stayed in the background and would check in to make sure that everything was going smoothly. They answered any questions that we had that day easily and were super helpful! The garden center was beautiful! Easily fit over 100 people between the ceremony outdoor area and the reception indoor area. They were flexible with me and worked with me. I couldn't pass up the price either! I couldn't have asked for a more beautiful place and a more wonderful venue than the Albuquerque Garden Center for my wedding! :)

The habitat garden is exquisite and educational. The trees have matured and give great shade. The perennials are blooming and thriving. Great designs also, and you might see some critters 😊. …

Very peaceful place to come and enjoy the flowers. It is the best garden in the city in my opinion. Beautifully maintained with signage to tell you the names of the plants. A beautiful Asian tea house is just one of the things that beautify this garden. There is a cute little pond with fish as well.

Quiet and Seren. Beautiful garden

I enjoyed coming here to get inspiration for my own garden. Their garden is beautiful. They are very helpful for suggestions about local plants. They are very knowledgeable.
They do not sell plants year round. Check the website for seasonal plant availability.

I just got married last night at this venue! The staf was amazing nothing short either they calmly talked with me thru out the event the security was super nice and would chat it up with everyone who had come the husband and wife working my event were almost ghosts and were kind and patient when it came to clean up! It was breathtaking to see all the live and happy plants all around! The music equipment worked wonderfully and the all around wedding was a masterpiece when came to execute. I would recommend this venue a thousand times more!!

What a tremendous community resource for the interests of gardeners. Besides wonderfully helpful people and a hotline for phone calls, they have a terrific shop and library. They also hold many community events and classes across a wide variety of related topics. They really combine and leverage a wealth of knowledge and resources. We are very fortunate to have this.

An Oasis in the high desert. Many membership gardening groups active here. Beautiful speciality gardens to view. Bookstore.

Annual garden plant sale. What a crush! Tons of people. Best part is you can get home-dug plants that are already used to our climate. Center also runs classes for gardeners. Good resource for Albuquerque.

Went to an Orchid Society meeting, the demonstrations were very informative to a novice like me. The people were so friendly and nice, it was like we were part of the group not just visitors.

We recently rented out the Albuquerque Garden Center (AGC) for my daughter’s wedding which included an outdoor garden ceremony, cocktail hour in the Japanese Pavilion area, and an indoor dinner/dance reception. Throughout the planning process, our point of contact, Laurie, was generous with her time and accommodating. We were able to repeatedly visit the venue to ask continued questions and map out details of how we would decorate and utilize the various spaces of the facility. She not only worked cooperatively with us, she and her staff coordinated well with the various vendors for food, beverage, music, décor, etc.
The day of the event, we had all-day uninterrupted access to the venue from 9am-midnight which afforded us plenty of set-up and take-down time. AGC provided rotating staff to be on-site throughout the 15 hours, as well as two security personnel for the duration of the event itself.
The AGC gardens and grounds are beautifully and painstakingly maintained, the large reception hall (Pinon Rm.) perfectly met our needs for the indoor portion, and the facility includes two different kitchen prep areas, small but well-appointed restrooms, and an additional room (Patio Rm.) with small counter and sink that served perfectly as a hair/makeup/dressing area for the bride and her attendants.
Although we furnished our ceremony/cocktail hour/reception (i.e. round dinner tables, bistro tables, and padded garden chairs) primarily through outside rental companies, the AGC package includes access to stackable indoor chairs and rectangular folding tables should they be needed. Table linens are available for a nominal fee. In addition, the AGC made available for our use several painted wooden tables and benches that we used for purposes such as a memoriam table and the guest book.
It should be noted that the AGC has some stringent guidelines in its contract related to safety and security which, though we tried to clarify the salient points with our guests the day of the event, still led to some confusion. The most impactful of these related to “traffic patterns” between various areas of the facility. Food/beverages served in the Japanese Pavilion must remain in that area. Likewise, food/beverages served in the Pinon Rm. must remain there. For our event, security personnel could only oversee one area or the other. Therefore, during the outside cocktail hour access out of the pavilion/garden area was literally locked. Guests could not exit the garden gate to the front parking area nor access the building at all (including restrooms) and, once we did allow indoor access, we needed to quickly vacate the outside area. Another contractual consideration is that disposal of all trash at the end of the night (including restrooms) must be gathered by the renters and disposed of in the parking lot dumpster.
To their credit, the on-site staff the day of our event – Gigi, Brenda, and Debbie – were all personable and willing to help where they could, right down to lighting votive candles on the dinner tables and helping with trash take-out at night’s end. The security personnel were pleasant, as well – gracious in their reminders to guests who sometimes absent-mindedly would start to exit the reception hall with a cup of lemonade or piece of cake. Even one of the gardeners there on the morning of the event, Jen, offered up her heartfelt good wishes.
