I had two front door outside lights replaced, which were challenging because of old wiring and placement. I opted to call Groves. They did great work for me in the past, and they were wonderful this time as well. They are very interested that the customer is happy with their services. Jason is a very friendly and professional hard worker. I can highly recommend Groves Electric.

3 other places could not come out for a week and they could come the next day. The job was to run a 110v dedicated line through the attic and outside for a mini split AC unit I was installing. The workmen were highly professional and hard working. Very pleasant. The work was excellent

After calling 12 Electrical companies that our Landlord asked us to contact. We don't own the building. We came back from vacation and owning a Hair Salon, you can not work without air in the summer. Everyisaid they were one month out before anyone could even look at it. CHARTER who we used for years. Obviously got to big and fat so didn't want to help. Making 3 appointments and 3 no shows. That's when after a week. We told the Landlord. Enough is enough. So I looked up BEST Electrical companies. GROVES POPPED UP! BINGO. Could not have been more professional and kind. Chris and John, true Gentleman we're incredibly knowledgeable and really down to earth. MICHAEL ANGELO HAIR STUDIO was back up and running in one day. Groves was very responsive to my request for services. Chris sent Jason out the next morning to get some critical outlets operational again. Jason was terrific! He was timely, professional, had a helpful spirit and I will ask for him again. Groves will get my calls to address any electrical needs.

There are a couple of characteristics that really stand out to me. 1- honesty and 2- willingness to make things happen. When I called Groves it was super early in the morning because I was concerned about a possible short. Chris answered the phone and proceeded to tell me he was booked, but he would give me a referral for someone he trusted. He disclaimed that if I could not find anyone to give him a call back and he would see if he could make a courtesy visit to at least tell me if something needed to be done and I could get someone else to do the work. He texted me while I was on the phone looing for someone else and stated that he personally (the owner) would stop by. When he came he listened to exactly the problem and then checked all the panels and discovered a small issue. He stated he needed to get a part and one of his associates would stop by to install it later that day. Within 45 minutes there was a knock at the door. Frank replaced the breaker, and charged me the agreed upon price and was gone with in 20 minutes. From an early phone call to repair was 2.5 hours and every communication was professional and courteous. They really went out of their way to put me at ease. HIGHLY RECCOMENDED!!!!!

We had the Groves Electric team install 2 ceiling fans, install recessed lighting in our master closet, and relocate an outlet and ethernet plugs so we could mount our TV on the wall. They showed on time and were very professional. The lights looked so good in the closet that we had them add recessed lighting in the laundry room as well and were able to accommodate the extra work on the same trip. We have used them in the past for other jobs and were always reliable and competent. I highly recommend them.

I was SO impressed with Chris Groves. I called late friday evening and he answered right away. I explained what was happening and he tried to help trouble shoot and fix issue by explaining what I should do and try. This was all over phone. He could have just said they are booked and that's that. When our issue couldn't be found he gave us 2 other companies that can possibly come out sooner. He wasn't concerned with just getting our business but was concerned that we were able to get our issue resolved no matter who we hired. So impressed!!!

I really like this company. That are honest and do what's right by their customer. It might not be the least expensive company, but I'm willing to pay for quality and a job well done. Over the last decade or so, I have called them out several times, and it is always a good experience. They have laid conduit underground, wired a shed, helped with smart switches, and who knows what else I cannot recall. Once when a job was so simple, the owner walked me through the steps over the phone as opposed to charging me for a technician. That's old-school awesome! Thank you Groves!

My circuit breaker that controls my dishwasher and garbage disposal would not reset. I called them at 10:11am and they said someone would be out between 11-2. The arrived at 12noon, very professional. They listened to my issue, ran a few checks and determined the circuit breaker was bad. They explained to me how they made the determination and said they would be right back with the right part. They called me no less than 20 minutes later to let me to they had to go to North Tampa for the part and would return promptly. Which they did. installed the part and all was good. They were again, very professional, communicated promptly and clearly since I am not an electrician and their prices were very reasonable. Would recommend them and would use them again.

I ran into an electrical problem this morning as part of my pool renovation project and called Groves for an estimate. Not only did they come out only a few hours later, but they also had the problem fixed the same day. I can't decide if I'm more blown away by how quickly they took care of everything or how helpful and professional their crew was, including Chris, himself. They explained absolutely everything they were doing to me and gave me as many options as they had for how to resolve the problem. Groves will be the first call I make for any future electrical needs. Highly recommend!

We were doing a full home reno and the electric guy we have used several times in the past was booked for a few months. We were referred to Chris Groves. Despite his initial response that he was several weeks out he tried to squeeze us in and did within just a few days. His price was reasonable/what I expected to pay and his crews were prompt, worked neatly and very respectful. Couldn't say enough on how happy we were to use them.

I had an electrical issue at my house with my fridge and dryer not working. I tried to trouble shoot it myself as I have a little experience with electrical work but I just couldn't figure out the issue. I decided to call an electrician. No other company was willing to come out this weekend. Groves was able to and came out within just a couple hours. I had been up all night trying to troubleshoot and I actually fell asleep. The guy waited for 30 min until they were able to finally reach me on my phone. They had called multiple times. What other company would do that? Turns out there were severed lines inside the breaker box going from the box into my house. The power lines were rubbing against the jagged edge of the opening and after years of chaffing on the metal it was finally cutting through. The guy was able to fix it and get everything up and running. The price was reasonable and the electrician was friendly and answered any questions I had. I'd definitely use them again.

We went with Groves again and the attention to detail and workmanship remain very high. This time it was a smaller job (residential, installing lighted light switches) but they approach all jobs the same, big or small, you will get professional, world-class services.

I just got off the phone after speaking with Chris Groves of Groves Electric. I live in a condo high rise and have a much higher electric bill than my neighbors. TECO says they are unable to help. Went to my iPad looking up electricians near me. Groves had a very high rating with the most submissions. I called, Chris answered. He listened to my story and made a very good suggestion that I am going to try. He was polite, knowledgeable, professional. We had a laugh or two. Chris Groves and his team have been my go-to electricians in the Tampa Bay Area. I have used them to add a recessed electrical outlet behind a wall-mounted television, add electrical outlets to two closets, and add a whole-house surge protection device at my TECO box outside. Chris is the Very best - Wednesday Oct 2 we had no electricity - TECO arrived after 10p and told us the issue was with our circuit board we were left without lights and ac I left a Chis a vm at midnight the very next day he returned my call and re-routed Jon’s schedule who came to our rescue.
