Tony DoughertyIf your project only takes a half day, Ted and Mike are pretty great at taking care of it. If it takes any longer- good luck getting them to come back. I had to wait well over a month.
My first experience with Twin Cities Electric was a one day job and I appreciate it. My second experience was not a one day job and ended up being every shade of headache. The wiring in my bathroom I paid Mike for is still hanging out of every wall and will need me to pay someone else for it but what Ted and Mike got finished was good quality.
I'd give them a one star rating if it wasn't for the first project they did for me and how well they took care of the electrical updates to that house.
The second job was everything you hear about in contractor nightmare stories. Look elsewhere if it'll take longer than a half day.
Alexa MWe had an electrical problem that we wanted to fix ASAP that we discovered around 5 pm. We called around and most places couldn’t get us in for a few days or charged a huge “emergency fee”. We called Twin Cities Electric and a friendly voice answered, listened to our probably, and said they’d have someone to our place within an hour. Mike arrived and he was friendly and knowledgeable and patient. He included us in the process and let my curious husband follow him around and explained everything he was doing. He worked very hard and was very thorough and fixed our mystery old house problem! We are very grateful for Mike and Twin Cities Electric for their promptness and excellent work!
ChanoNot certified, but the guy Mike did a good job. Allowed me to watch and learn. He was also super friendly. The company as a whole wasn't the best at communication however. Couldn't beat the price for a after hours emergency repair.
Andrew PetersonCalled about an issue I was having after hours. Was walked through what the issue most likely was, advised to not have them come out and talk to Xcel first. It was the exact problem he described and he saved me time and money. Really appreciate the honesty. When I do have need for electrical help will be calling again.
Brynn RhodesTed communicated well and Mike came on a Saturday to diagnose lights that didn't work, and to install new ceiling lights, sconces and other miscellaneous work. Very happy with the work and the fair prices.
David OlshanskiBefore arriving, I received a message that they would need to reschedule for 4 hours later. It was slightly inconvenient, but OK. They arrived, did the work extremely fast and competently and charged only 1/3 of what I expected. I would have dinged their rating for the rescheduled time, but the price and professionalism more than made up for it.
Shanon QualI have hired several electricians in the past but by far Twin cities electric is the best. I have had them to my house several times over the past few years and they do great work. I will be having them back in spring for some more projects I have. Thank you Ted and your great team!!!
