I will recommend Lumen Lighting & Electric to ANYONE needing electrical work. Skylar is incredibly good about responding to messages in a timely manner--and that is very rare these days. He arrived right on time and kept us informed of his status leading up to the arrival time. He was super patient with our questions; he has a great way of explaining all the technicalities in a way that is easy to understand. He did excellent work, cleaned up afterward (another rarity), and respected our home while he was here. We were very impressed with the entire experience. Skylar installed a GFCI receptacle for our new dishwasher. It was installed in a new location from where the old, standard receptacle had been. He did a great job and was nice to work with. Professional and personable. He also provided a free estimate on some outdoor security lighting. Will definitely hire again.

Excellent job and workmanship, especially considering it was late Friday afternoon. Total power outage due to main electrical panel failure. Skylar really got on the stick and got the required parts and came over and did the entire job so we were able to get our house back online Very fair and reasonable price. Skylar was professional and helpful. He replaced an outlet and also installed a new thermostat in a quick amount of time. The thermostat wasn't working initially but he was able to research the issue and resolve it promptly. He was on time, and presented himself well. I was getting new carpet installed the same day and he took his shoes off without me asking. I truly appreciate that. It was extremely easy to schedule an appointment on-line through the website. I had multiple choices of days and times. He was prompt on the day of service, completed the work quickly and was polite and informative. He wore shoe covers to keep my floor clean. He installed a GFI for my new dishwasher, per new code regulations. I highly recommend and will use his services again.
