This is the best school! If you want your Class A this is the place to go, as they will help you achieve that goal no matter what. However, if you're expecting your license to just be handed to you instead of putting any time or work in, don't waste Arthur's time. Everyone there is so funny and knowledgeable. They give you the confidence and tools to get your CDL. Anthony, El, Junior, and Arthur are great instructors and they're very easy to get along with. Thank you guys so much for helping me get my CDL!!

Easy CDL truck driving school is actually TEACHING how to drive semi truck with trailer and to know things about trucks! All teachers there are very polite, friendly and helpful! Locations are convenient and learning is as easy as can be! I’m glad I went to this school in California where I live and didn’t go to other school for studying where you could be in big groups of people! I recommend everyone do not be lazy during studying and be calm and confident during exam! Good luck :)

This is very smart and probably the best truck school in LA county. Some guys come here for lessons from San Diego city. I have started from 0 experience: first time in my life I started to drive a truck and only after a month of trainings I have passed DMV exam for CDL class A. Very good school and as the name of the school suggests it’s easy to get the CDL. Granted, that’s with effort and time. I appreciated the patience that was exhibited by the instructors, especially Arthur and Jr. between them they made the experience of learning the nuances of driving and maneuvering a truck and trailer very simple. Jr’s 1,2,3 parallel park method, made a daunting task simple. I highly recommend Easy CDL if you want to pass the DMV test on the 1st attempt.

If you are looking for a good school to go to for your CDL don’t look any further. I searched and searched and came across this school and took a chance. This school is the best place you could possibly go. Arthur, junior, Gary, Anthony, and lupita are all so helpful and there to help you get through this process of getting your license. You will learn a lot here and everything you learn is so useful when taking your test. They don’t mess around and you are fully setup for when your test comes up. All the employees here are super welcoming and nice and will help you no matter what. All the other students were super friendly and I made lots of new friends. I started from scratch in 1 month, I had never been driving a truck before, I learned and passed the first time, although when I started training I thought I couldn't, but thanks to the teachers and especially to Arthur, my main teacher, for his diligence and work! Honestly hands down one of the best trucking schools here in the SFV. TRUST ME! I did shopping around to see my options and I’m a type to read reviews and EASY CDL CAUGHT MY ATTENTION! There’s not much I can add to everything that’s already been said by the many other reviewers. Easy CDL is a great school, I had no experience driving trucks when I walked in, and I left proud with my CDL. Arthur, El, and Anthony are great teachers, they are patient with you, they make it a comfortable environment for you to feel relaxed and learn, they explain things in simplified ways that really help you understand and pick up the technique of driving a commercial vehicle. While I was attending, there were a lot of students passing the DMV test and acquiring their CDL; I’m proud to say that I am now one of them. They certainly went above and beyond for me, and I truly appreciate it that, I can vouch that it’s not just about the money to them-they really want to see you accomplish your goal and see you pass.

I'm not usually one to leave reviews but after being referred to Easy CDL by my brother that completed his course here I had to come and share my experience as well. Honestly, I couldn't thank Easy CDL trucking school enough as the whole experience from beginning to end was amazing. Not only do they have patience when teaching but they make sure that you are 100% ready before taking you to take your exam. I wanted to give a special thanks to my instructor Lily who was always there for me and always made sure I understood everything and found ways to help me remember a lot of the information being taught. Arthur and his team are an exemplary example of true professionals. They were very flexible with my crazy work hours and never raked me over the coals for needing to work. I went to this school having never driven a tractor and with very little experience pulling a trailer. I passed my DMV Class A test the first time. I can not reccomend this school more. If you are thinking about getting any license this school provides and are hesitant due to having a busy work/personal life, worry no more. I was given all the materials and tools I needed to pass my test and get going down my chosen career path. I AM DRIVEN, that being said, you have to put in the effort and time as well. My experience was very positive! Good school. Good instructors, each one has own different approach, but in combination you get great knowledge. I just got my CDL license class A yesterday!!! Honestly, it was a bit longer for me since I was really struggling with parallel parking to the left side, but Arthur said just practice and you will pass. He was right ,one day I just got it and everything just clicked. I have seen some people was able to finish and got their license in just two weeks, some like me in almost two months( i got no previous experience), but from my observation 85% of people do it from 3-4 weeks, but don't worry just hanging there and persistence will bring you there. We needed to get one of our driver's, Maclyn, trained and ready to run routes for Amazon as efficiently as possible. He chose Easy CDL and had the following to say: "Easy CDL was great! Art, Lily, Lupe and Dimtri all had very different teaching styles and because you get to interact with all of them, there is definitely a style that works for any student. They are really good about teaching the fundamentals of operating a tractor trailer and Lily is especially strict about making sure your pre-trip is 100%. They were able to accommodate my desire to take the CDL exam early and scheduled me at the Ventura DMV which is notoriously difficult to pass. I passed on the first try no problem because of the instruction I got at Easy CDL. Two days later I pulled my first trailers for Amazon and my drive trainer couldn't believe I was fresh out of CDL school and had only received my CDL 2 days earlier." Hello to all. I would like to leave feedback about this school. In my opinion, this school is one of the best schools for the quality of education. Arthur is a highly professional teacher and is also a very pleasant person to talk to. During the training, you will have a truck with a 10-speed unsynchronized transmission at your disposal. In my opinion, initial training on a truck with such a transmission is a very important point. Transmissions of this type are found on heavy trucks very often. I passed the test from the first time and am very grateful to Arthur for the way he conducted my training. If you think where to get training - EasyCDL the best choice. Call and talk with Arthur. Come to the parking lot in Sylmar and talk with other students and all doubts about the choice of school will disappear. Many thanks Arthur. 2020 update, i got my cdl almost 2 years ago in Easy CDL. Now i have a interesting job with open deck trailer (stepdeck 53”) and truck with 13spd transmission. i want to say many thanks to Easy CDL and Arthur personally. Day 1. I get to the yard, introduce myself, Arthur tosses me the keys and tells me to fire up the truck and pull it out. Mind you, I've never driven anything as big as his rig and it was pretty intimidating, but I did it and the intimidation factor dropped quickly which allowed me to relax and really take in everything he was teaching me. Having him in the passenger seat cracking bad jokes actually helped me relax a little too. A few months later, I passed my test, but that's not even the best part. After driving so many hours in his rig, really getting comfortable with the 10 speed split shift, navigating rush hour traffic on the streets and freeways, driving down small roads, up and down hills, parallel parking, offset parking, alley docking that I now have the confidence to know that I can drive anything for anyone without feeling like an amateur. Arthur is The Man and Easy CDL is the place you need to go if you want to learn how to drive a big rig, pass the test and become a safe, competent driver. Lastly, I'd like to talk about his sense of humor. I mean, at least he has one, I dunno, maybe you'll think he's funny. I know he does. Thanks for everything Arthur! You're the best and I'll be sending folks your way for sure.

I believe I would’ve had a great experience, regardless, because it turned out to be a great school with great instructors. However, because I had enrolled in another school that I attended briefly and had a horrible experience at my time was even better at Easy CDL truck driving school. Based on the schedule I provided them of my availability they worked with me. There was no grouping, which means I got the one on one experience I needed; not just to pass a test but to have the safety skills necessary for a career. Each one of the staff were friendly, patient, respectful, understanding, compassionate, flexible, knowledgeable, and motivating. When I started there on August 23, 2022, I was stressed with a deadline that was next to impossible to obtain a license by, especially considering the only thing I could identify under a hood at that point was a dipstick. The instructors were never controlling to a point where I was just following directions, they actually worked with me so that I had to figure things out on my own which ultimately prepared me to pass my test. Okay OKay..!!! First, I passed my commercial license here at this school.Let’s dive in a little bit further about the school and the program that I took here. At this school, there are two main professors. They are Professor Elder and Sir Arthur and each has different responsibilities for our success. Okay that it. Now let's shift our attention onto the program. So, for the typical day at school. A student will first meet up with professor Elder. EL is responsible for all your parking maneuvers. He's will be the one who is out on the field showing you the different main maneuvers that you will be getting on your drive test. Along with showing a student parking, he is also showing you the pre-trip inspection, AIR BRAKE TEST. Speaking of pre-trip inspection. Don't just use EL as the primary source of information. Do use other students at the school for your advantage as well. At EASY CDL, you will always see students studying and learning about the pre-trip and other parts of the tests. I was fortunate to get to know and meet my other classmates which they helped me tremendously in having the pre-trip inspection and the air brake tests down pretty good now. Okay, Sir Arthur. He's responsible for everything that you do at school but mainly the driving skills part of the program. Students will get to ride with Sir Arthur and you will not hear him say anything; that is good. But when you are out driving and he is start talking. Oh guys and girls, you are doing something wrong. Just need to pay attention to sir Arthur guidance when he is saying something. OKay. This is a BONUS for new students that coming in. What is the one thing that I wish I know prior coming to this school but I did not know before. It is about the preparations. So prior coming to this school, I did not know anything. That took me very long almost 8 months to finish the program. So for new students, when you are having no experiences in driving truck and know nothing about the maneuvers. Speak to sir Arthur or professor Elder on the resources where you can go online to check out. Mainly about the parking maneuvers. Watch some videos on how to park so that a students can have some basic knowledge on how to park the truck and trailer prior signing up for the program. It will help a student speed up your learning curve a lot. Okay, lastly do not forget to have fun at the school. I certainly did. We had so much fun here and I will be coming back to it whenever I get a chance to. All in all, thank you so much once again guys. You guys definitely have a big impact on my life and my success. Anthony- Easy CDL is a great school the thing i loved the most about Easy CDL, is the learning environment it was a CO-ED school at the time of my attendance there were 4 women and everyone treated them no different then anyone else, the positive attitudes everyone has and the small class sizes when it comes to parking and driving the trucks. You have to be dedicated and willing to learn listen and put in the work and the time and the dedication to earn your CDL, this is not a pay and they print CDL for you its a school. You have to do your part as well but Arthur and Eldar will help you get through the entire thing. Eldar is a great teacher he does more of the yard and parking maneuvers, Eldar is notorious for having "The Steps" and helping you if you are not understanding a particular maneuver Eldar will help you understand what your are doing wrong, and help you correct those issues he will walk with the truck as you back it up and help guide your truck wheels, and tell you where your mistakes are being made and help you understand them and how to correct them. I wanted to share about my experience with Easy CDL Truck Driving. Art and El fulfilled what I was looking for, one-on-one training while driving on the streets and at the yard with no more than two people per session. There is ample time for you to practice all the maneuvers. Art and El gave me all the tools needed to successfully obtain my CDL on the first try. If you are looking for a school that allows you to continue reviewing/studying after your session ends- you’re at the right place. Art is very flexible and works around your schedule to accommodate your needs. I have never driven a commercial vehicle in my life and I’m in my forties. This was about as great an experience as one could ask for. Arthur is extremely knowledgeable and a thorough and patient teacher. He had me driving the truck the very first day and his instruction on backing maneuvers was easy to follow and comprehensive. He is very flexible and was able to work with my schedule. Other schools are going in groups of many people, I have heard 10, Arthur has 2 people switching off at the most. Let me tell you what you will get with EASY CDL TRUCK ACADEMY, one on one detail instructions on how to properly drive a ten speed semi. You will not get this much attention at any other school because here it's only you and one other student! The staff that I encountered (Art, Ada, Jr, Gary, Issac, Anthony) were all great instructors who gave amazing guidance. Lupita (office) was always on top of all questions and concerns and always got back to me. I finished in about 2 months since I live in Anaheim. (Well worth it, no regrets) Yard is somewhat small.... but if you can do it here you can definitely do it at the DMV. I was always hard on myself since I considered myself a perfectionist but when I performed it at the DMV it was EZPZ LemonSqueezy. Thank you EASYCDL!!!

Its 3rd school we are trying, finally students are getting to do alot alot alot of skills, without major groups like in other schools where you drive 2 entries and than you wait for rest of bunch to go through it. You will not regret by going to this school, belive me i know what i am talking about from past experiences where its only money money money for every extra request, and you request extra because you really dont get enought. Great school! I have to say Art and he's staff are very dedicated. Was behind the wheel the very first day. Always got plenty of practice time for skill and driving. Easy CDL actually cares if you become a good trucker. I really appreciate all the time and work they provided for me. Other schools wanted lots of money for little drive time and had some very strict rules. I'm so glad i stuck with Art and staff. I got my class A in a stick shift truck with 2 endorsements. Want to express our biggest gratitude to this school and especially emphasize Arthur. He is really a professional instructor. My husband got his CDL in 5 weeks thanks to this school. Arthur prepared him to the BVT, explained all practical and technical things, taught the tricks and gave the best hints for perfect driving. I was skeptical. Even a after a couple of weeks I still wasn't convinced I picked the right place. But Arthur, El, and Anthony came through! They legitimately want you to pass your test. I struggled a little bit but they gave me extra attention and made sure I was ready when the test day came up. I passed my first try! If you dig in and do your part, put in the work and listen to their instruction you will pass your test! Honestly I'd pay the tuition cost just to see Arthurs mullet. It's legendary!! Great instructor! I walked into this school with mainly dirt bike knowledge of shifting and not knowing much about driving a manual vehicle. Never drove a vehicle with a 5th wheel but I passed my road test on my first try after only 5 weeks of starting (as a female)! His tractor is in very good condition almost like new and well taken care of. Very professional truck driving school. Arthur is the brain behind the operation, and Eldar is the yard man, teaching hands-on backing and parking skills. The school is surprisingly cheap, especially considering that all students took up a considerably longer time training on the trucks due to the COVID related DMV testing freeze. In my case, I was ready for the behind-the-wheel test in February, but the DMV had no appointments until April. So Arthur let me practice all these extra weeks without ever asking for more money. There are a lot of schools out there but I was fortunate enough to choose Easy-CDL. The affordable price was well worth it given that actual behind the wheel time was triple what students from other schools were telling me they got. Behind the wheel time is essential, especially parallel parking and alley docks as you will be tested by the DMV on these.The instructors, Arthur and Eldar treat everyone with respect. They were generous with giving extra time to come in and practice Pre-Trip inspections and Air Brake tests, two critical parts of the DMV Road Test Exam that you must learn also. They are focused on the skills you need for passing the CDL-A DMV Road Test as you should be too. Study the materials given on the website and follow their suggestions for preparation and you can pass the road test as I did. Yes, I was nervous during the test but, the skills I learned at the school gave me confidence to do what I needed to pass and I did. I'm so happy now and will start paid orientation with a trucking company beginning in December. The company will reimburse me $200.00 a month for trucking school as well, and I can begin to gain the experience I need to advance my new career. Just an FYI, for those wanting to enter trucking, there is a big shortage out there for drivers. Schools and DMV testing centers have back logs due to the pandemic but, attending here I was able to get my CDL with only a two-week delay despite the difficulty of getting DMV appointments during the pandemic. First and foremost easy-cdl is there to help you learn to be a great commercial driver. Arthur's instruction is patient, methodical, and geared towards each individual. From what I hear a lot of schools will train you on a 6 speed transmission in order to push you through the program quickly. The problem here being that if you get a job with a company that uses a 10 speed transmission you will be way behind the curve. Yes it is a little more to learn the 10 speed but you will be prepared for whatever job you take on. Arthur is there one on one with you to help you learn at your pace and gain confidence. I chose to learn from this school as I believe it will make me safer and more valuable to employers. Can't recommend easy-cdl enough.

When Arthur found out that I was from San Diego, he did 2-3 classes for me a day and it saved my time a lot for me!!! I really liked how EASY CDL takes a course!!! For me, the most important thing was that this school has an automatic transmission, and accordingly, I have the right to take an exam on an automatic transmission. I didn't find it in San Diego. I also knew that at this school I would get a lot of time driving and learning maneuvers. Only 18 lessons and it's very good!!! I have had 10 lessons-parking, 8 driving lessons in the city and one 1.5 hour parking lesson, Arthur gave me this lesson for free, so that I could tighten up my weaknesses before the exam !!! 1 lesson includes: 1.5 hours for 2 people - these are maneuvers. This time is enough to learn all the maneuvers. There are also activities that are included in this course, this is 45 minutes of driving in the city, when the student, together with the instructor, leaves for the city. At this time, the instructor teaches and tells you how to drive the truck correctly, this is very important!!! Another very important thing is that after the course, you can very quickly enroll in the DMV. In my case, it was like this: in the evening I asked Arthur to sign me up for the exam, the next day I was already taking the exam at the DMV. I know very well that now in many schools, people study for 1.5-2 months, and then they wait a very long time for the DMV exam. I also know that in many schools there is a long queue (8-12 people per truck) to complete at least 1 maneuver and people wait in line for 50-55 minutes. There is no such thing in EASY CDL. EASY CDL saves you time, money and most importantly, teaches you how to drive safely!!! I am very glad that I studied at this school!!!
