I graduated from CCDLTC one week ago. They are a first class training center. You get all the time you need to get your CDL. The student to instructor ratio is perfect and the instructors are both helpful and knowledgeable. The facility is clean and in good condition. There are enough trucks to keep things from getting boring. I got all the opportunities to practice that I needed. It was a great experience and I am already driving with a trainer. Five stars

THERE IS A REASON THIS PLACE HAS 5 STARS!!! My partner third-party tested here, and let me just say that the instructors are friendly, patient, and respond to emails FAST. When I was looking for third-party testers I contacted a few places in Charlotte as well, and they never returned my emails, calls or voicemails. The same day I called Carolina CDL Training Center was the same day I spoke to Vadim and got the skills test set up. After the first failed attempt, this place did not give up on my boyfriend. They made sure he was well prepared for the second time, and he PASSED! I promise you will NOT regret this place. Highly recommend them! Thank you Vadim!

Great school. All of the instructors are seasoned professionals who seem to enjoy training soon-to-be drivers. They just paved their lot, so it makes practicing backing maneuvers more enjoyable. They have a few Cascadias to practice with, and their equipment is in good condition. The price is reasonable with a couple housing options if you’re not from the area. Give yourself a few days after the course is over to test for the pre-trip, backing and road test. If the course ends on a Friday, you’ll be testing on Monday or Tuesday of the following week.

I highly recommend this school to anyone. The price is very reasonable. I paid $2500 for the automatic training and you can also make payments. The staff was very nice and professional. David the instructor, was friendly, professional and helpful. The class size was small. We get one on one attention and the classmates teach each other and we all got along.

Carolina Training Center will give you all the tools and training needed to pass your state exam. David and Bobby (instructors) create a laid back atmosphere, alleviating the pressure and intimidation caused by driving an 18 wheeler for the first time. I watched them adapt their training styles to different student's needs; working one on one to make people successful. I highly recommend this school!

This school is an awesome location, with mountain views. I’m glad I chose to do it here instead of the concrete jungle of Texas. I enrolled as a part timer, took me about 2 months to complete the course. Had some ups and downs with communication while I was here but we eventually came together, addressed our challenges and got it done. One of the rare schools that actually allow you to do part time. Managers and instructors really came through towards the end to make sure I finished on time even with all the personnel issues they were dealing with at the time. If you’re considering part timing here; have a plan and stay on top of it or you will slip through the cracks. Team here is helpful but will not hold your hand. Looking back I wished I had just taken a break from work and attended their school full time. Felt like l missed out on a few things rushing through it with a full time work schedule. They were patient and flexible with my schedule. Things could have gone a little smoother if I had sat down with the instructors and office team before I started the class and got a better idea of the challenges we might face. All in all good school and great people. A big thank you to team here for their support. All the best!

This school was God sent to my husband and I. Great price! The people were very accommodating. The instructor (Ron Stills) is a character! Not a dull moment with him. He creates a fun and relaxing environment for you to learn. I had never driven manual before and I learned how to drive that beast with 10 speed! They don’t have automatic as of now. Not sure in the future. Passed my test in North Carolina first try! Definitely recommend.

It is a great school every one is willing to help you learn, the lead instructor David Goldsmith is a seasoned veteran, if he can't teach you no one can, Jenny is great she will make sure you understand all the log book rules and how to complete your logs daily. I went through Carolina CDL training center as a third party tester, and it was by far the best thing I could have done. Not only did they help me after my failed attempts but continued to push me to continue on even though I wasn’t a “student” at the school itself. I don’t think I would have continued on if I didn’t go through Carolina CDL . I really appreciate them, and would recommend to anyone looking to get a CDL . Very knowledgeable group!

I’m just now getting around to my review, I graduated back in September. I did the manual class with David and i learned so much in the time that I spent there. David is very knowledgeable, my best advice for anybody taking the manual course is to listen to everything David is telling you. Forget anything you thought you knew about trucks. He will lead you in the right direction and you’ll pass your road test without a doubt.

Went with Carolina cdl as a 3rd party tester. There staff are great. It was the best choice I could have done. I really appreciate them and would highly recommend them to anyone looking to get there cdl. I can’t wait to send the rest of the guys down to Carolina cdl to get there license. School is good. They were the cheapest school that I can find. They have HOUSING. They are very flexible when it comes to class and field time. They have manual transmission trucks. Our instructor was GOOD and very experienced. SIDE NOTE: it is very helpful for you to have permit before starting class (more DRIVE time). I am a SATISFIED student.

If you have never driven a tractor trailer, before your 4 weeks is up, you will know how and also become comfortable in driving a tractor trailer. These instructors/tester at Carolina Training Center are one of greatest of all time. They will teach you, and give you an X amount of time to achieve goals set forth by yourself using their metrics. It will be a process, use your time wisely. Focus on your problems and achieve them. Shayne, Ron, Dav, Vadim and staff, these folks taught me that practice does make progress. Nice parking. Porta house is there for a restroom. I will return to park there if I'm in the area again at quitting time. Beats the hell out of the TA. Would give 5 stars but just my opinion I think $15 is a bit steep for parking. But it's not my business to run. Thank y'all for being there when needed.

Awesome Truck Driving school. Instructors experienced and give a lot hours of driving. Great living conditions for students during their studies. Management of the Truck Driving school are highly qualified, also some workers speak Russian Language which really convenient.
